Van’s Service Towing

The woman that works in the office is so rude. I came in with a big smile and good morning, she barely looked up at me. The customer service was absolutely the worst! I was having a bad day too, but I certainly didn’t take it out on her! BUT, the tow truck driver was excellent!

This deserves zero stars. The woman are extremely rude, condescending and do not communicate their fees and policy’s to people. «We can’t tell you everything we can’t predict wjat your going to do» I went there on Monday was not allowed in my car to get my wallet. After much persistence they allowed me with a driver. I had to come back was on a time restraint. I called 2 more times they told me the fees until Wednesday. Never mentioned that it goes up $ 40 on Thursday. When I got there Thursday the woman counted on her fingers how Thursday to Thursday was 8 days. 100% rude and snotty. Insulted me on many levels. Took advantage of people who live in their city. If I ever need a tow for any reason I will go with private people that I know next time. When I called for a person above her to speak with she said there was nobody. I will find the next chain of command and find out why the service is so unprofessional and lacks pertinent and valuable information. Good customer service would never take advantage of local citizens in such a time of financial distress.

They don’t even deserve one star. I was waiting for a gas pump at the gas station on the corner of 12 mile rd and Gratiot 2 days ago and one of their tow truck men sped into my spot and then flipped me the bird. RUDE. he was a grown man, he should know better.

This company doesn’t even deserve a star. Two of the most nasty people I have ever encountered work for Vans Towing. I had my insurance company fax a copy of my insurance to them and they charged me $ 1 per page. The insurance card was in their tow yard in my car. They didn’t even have the decency to check my car! When I asked for their fax number the woman slammed a pad of paper down on the desk and said here! Snotty ungodful people! I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy! Yes! It’s that bad!

My folks were in a car accident today and dad died and mom survived !! The car was taken to Vans and since the car was in dads name they wouldnt let me acsees to the car to get moms purse with some of her perscription pills !! Wtf !! Ya better hope mom doesnt need any of these pills tonite because im gonna chew you up and spit you out !!!

A different company came to my car first (called by my insurance company) After the other company caused more damage to my car, I wanted a different company to come out. The first truck from Vans came very quickly. Realizing he needed some more equipment, a second truck came shortly after. Both men were very professional and did the job great. They were very friendly, they used the proper equipment and everything went smooth. I wish these guys were the first company to come! Definitely recommend this company. Thanks so much guys!

I realize this was complete luck of the draw since I used a service like AAA to get someone to get my car but, these guys well realistically their towing guy has got them A returning customer.
Was on time, very cool person and very helpful with any questions I had.
Wasn’t rude, wasn’t a stick in the mud he was trying to have fun but professional as well.
Will def use them in the future!
