Studio 700 Center For The Arts is unique in its commitment to provide a working studio that defines our artists as professionals. Artists attending Studio 700 will learn basic art skills taught to the average nascent artist and mature in the disciplines of concentration, follow-​through, and delayed-​gratification. Through their art they will gain consideration for others, practical teamwork experience, and basic life-​skills that for some cannot be attained any other way. They will develop a higher level of self-​awareness and confidence, approaching new levels of creativity and producing quality professional work.

History

Established in 1962.

Placer ARC is a vibrant agency, serving the communities of Placer County and surrounding areas. Started as a grassroots advocacy association by parents in the late 1950’s, the agency transformed to give life to 12 programs serving infants, children and adults through the ensuing years. At present, Placer ARC operates 5 programs of fundamental importance to the community, of which individuals with special needs are an integral part.
