Dr. Holt grew up in the Bay Area. He attended Brigham Young University, followed by the University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry. Dr. Holt obtained a Master of Science degree while completing his residency at Oklahoma University. Dr. Holt has practiced orthodontics in the Sacramento area since 1989. As an Invisalign Elite Top 1% Provider he is among the most experienced in North America. He has been lecturing for Invisalign, instructing other dentists & orthodontists how to treat different kinds of cases with Invisalign. His practice strives for excellence while keeping treatment time as short as possible.

Starting my journey to a better smile at 24 was a difficult decision having a surgical case I went to a few different orthodontics offices. Once I went in for a free consultation with Dr. Holt i knew I was going to get my teeth to being perfect here. I came in and saw kids and adults at the office for braces and Invisalign and automatically felt a bit more comfortable. The staff is EXTREMELY NICE AND FRIENDLY (never met a nicer and friendlier staff). I loved that they took time to explain my options of the whys and how’s so I know everything to make my decision. Dr. Holt always takes time to talk to me about the process of how my teeth are doing and the surgery to come.

My daughter did stage 1 spreader to correct a cross-​bite. Everyone in the office was very professional, organized, punctual, and pleasant. The problem was corrected in 5 month (their prediction was 5 – 7 months). She is now wearing a retainer. If stage 2 orthodontia is needed, we will definitely continue to work with Dr Holt. I highly recommend this office.

My oldest son had a major phobia of going to the dentist, even when we were taking him to a kids dentist. So we decided to just find a new family dentist (Matt Comfort DDS) and it was the best move we’ve ever made. My son is no longer afraid of the dentist. So, when our dentist gave us a orthodontic referral for Dr. Holt I was very scared that my son would have a relapse and get really scared again. However, the first appt was great! The office was sports themed which immediately put my son at ease (because he loves sports). The staff was really nice and professional. We’ve had 2 appts so far and he loves it there. I would recommend this office.

Dr. Holt is very unprofessional. He was working on my mouth with a drill and not paying attention because he was watching sports on the big screens that he has in his office. I started screaming because he was cutting my mouth with the drill but even then he still was watching the game. I literally had to pull his hand out of my mouth with the drill in it. He has a lot of unskilled assistance which caused me great deal of pain. I didn’t realize that was not the norm until I left his office for good. I was an adult when I went to him and parents just don’t realize when the kids go on the back what’s really going on. Even as adults I thought a lot of it was normal because I had no other experiences with any other orthodontist. It cost me over $ 5000 to leave him and go to another dentist.

They have a lot of incentives to keep people invested in caring for their teeth between appointments. My daughter and I love Dr Holt’s office. She enjoys every visit and looks forward to seeing the whole staff. She loves how they all know her name and her doll’s. They are great with kids and explaining to them everything that they are going to have done. My daughter loves their point system and that she can earn a gift card. They definitely make braces fun and gave my daughter a beautiful smile.

Dr. Holt, Dr. Annello, and their staff are amazing! From the moment you walk in, you are greated with smiles, coffee, ice water, and a fun clean atmosphere.
I am on my second round of braces and was so pleased that Invisalign was an option for me at this stage of my life. I am very happy with the results that I am seeing and the treatment I receive from the front office to the back.

Two kids, two sets of Invisalign. Can’t say I’m the luckiest dad in the world, but I do feel got the best in the business to get their teeth fixed. The staff is energetic and friendly, they work around your schedule and provide advice that you can fit into your lifestyle. Honestly, there is nothing negative I can say about this place. Here’s hoping child number three doesn’t need their teeth straightened, but if she does we’ll be coming here.
