Meet the Business Owner

A 1994 graduate of the University of California at San Francisco Dental School, Dr. Hansen’s academic credentials also include his 1998 graduation from the Advanced Aesthetic Continuum at the New York University College of Dentistry, and his 1999 graduation in Advanced Aesthetics and Occlusion from the Rosenthal Institute in Palm Beach, Florida.

Dr. Hansen has given back to his profession by instructing other dentists to perform some of his innovative procedures. At least one month a year, he teaches courses at seminars in New York, Florida and San Francisco, often alongside one of his mentors, Dr. Larry Rosenthal, whose patients include many of Hollywood’s elite. In the winter of 2002, Dr. Hansen taught Advanced Aesthetics at the Rosenthal Institute at Eastman Dental Clinic in London, England.

Unique among cosmetic dentists, Dr. Hansen has one of the only on-​premise cosmetic dental laboratories on the West Coast. Working with a fulltime ceramist, he’s able to monitor a patient’s tre
