Cost:
While Hendricks for Health does not directly work with insurance companies, they are more than willing to provide you with any documents to empower you to pursue reimbursement for the out of pocket costs. Although, I have taken the time and done the research, and found that even the out of pocket costs are extremely competitive. The cost for an office visit is what I would normally pay for a regular copay at my doctor’s office. Not to mention, they are always offering specials if you buy the office visits in bulk. The cost of their products is on par with what I could order online myself, before shipping and handling. Moreover, I get the added bonus of having a centralized location for all of my dietary needs.
Staff:
The staff is always willing to help, very friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. On the rare occasions where I have stumped them with a question or two, they were not afraid to let me know that they did not know the answer, and that they would have to research the question. Sure enough the next time I spoke with them, they had an answer for me. In my opinion, it shows a very high quality level of customer service when someone admits to not knowing the answer to a question, and then takes the time to follow up afterwards. It definitely makes me feel like I have a whole team behind me, while I am going through this journey.

Let us take a moment to talk about that dirty four-​letter word, D-​I-​E-​T. First off, I do not think I would even apply the word diet to what they have shown me, it is more like a philosophy. You can see the philosophy manifested through inspirational phrases and genuinely happy people throughout their office space. Their philosophy (as I see it) breaks down into the following guidelines:
— Adopt a ketogenic meal plan to achieve your lifestyle change.
— As you become more comfortable with yourself, start to become more active.
— If your body is in balance, you will be too.
— Knowledge is key for success.
What does this all mean? Well, a ketogenic meal plan focuses less on calories and other micro-​nutritional values, and focuses more on macro-​nutritional values like protein, fats, and carbohydrates. Only do the physical activities that you feel most comfortable doing, even a small change can make a major impact. Your body needs to have the correct vitamins and minerals in order to function correctly, and if they are out of balance, it just makes it more difficult for you to achieve your goals. The more you learn about yourself, the more likely you are going to succeed.
Results:
Now onto the question everyone wants to ask, does this work? I am living proof that it does. I have been going there for about two years and I have lost almost 200 lbs. Personally, I would call that a success. Thanks to everyone at Hendricks for health, I now feel like a new man, with endless possibilities ahead of me.
