Good Earth

Amazing place, top notch food quality and taste! I had the bean burrito n my wife had the cashew chicken salad sandwich, we also had the bangkok chicken satay. All three were amazing, bangkok chicken satay highly recommend. There was a slight delay in service, but that cn be ignored with the rest of the good points!

First timer and expectations were high as I have been told to hurry up and try it out. I ran a couple minutes late to meet a friend but they were on top of it helping me find my lunch mate, it took 5 seconds to seat me with her during a Friday lunch rush. Server, amazing patient young man that had no idea we were new. I wish I would have done the right thing and remembered to write down his name. I asked if there were onions in a meal I had hoped for (I hate onions) he made sure to check for even onion powder. Onions, sad, so I picked another option. Keeping this one short, Service, on all levels, amazing!!! Food, from hummus to our meals, spot on for delish! I am loving the food but cannot remember exactly what we finally decided on so this review is strictly on service and loving the fresh tasty meal. I will follow up with the meal names soon. If you like a great place for a glass of wine paired with a fresh tasting meal, please, I beg you to stop in!

My colleagues and I came down here to have a light dinner after work. A friend of my colleague recommended this restaurant. The statement of Natural foods was shown under the name of the reataurant ad, and their dishes were kind of Natural food-​ish.
I took green lemonade, and soupl&salad. I liked the green lemonade the most. The taste was softer than the usual lemonades because of the greeens. The soup of the day was creamy asparagus soup, it was ok. I expected more senses soup. About the salad, you can choose a dressing from 4 – 5 kinda of them. I took tahini poppy seed dressing because it is the most popular. This dressing was a bit creamy but sour, with lots of poppy seeds. The salad itself was pretty good with many variety of vegetables and peas.
This place is facing to the freeway so the atmosphere is not great but for tho casual dining, it may be a good place to go.

Visited with my husband on a Saturday night, we had a reservation through opentable. Were greeted promptly and warmly and sat at a table right away. My husband and I don’t venture out food-​wise much but we appreciate fresh homemade dishes. We split the chicken quesadillas and the Thai chicken flatbread. Both were fantastic! I loved how both dishes were packed full of chicken and veggies with just the right balance of cheese! We saw some amazing looking salads and burgers around the dining room as well! Everything tasted so fresh and the bread basket with hummus was a nice bonus as well! Our service was really spotty, took quite some time to be greeted and our server was gone with our credit card for over 15 minutes. Thankfully we didn’t order drinks and just had the two apps, otherwise I would have been really irritated. I did like the atmosphere inside the restaurant itself, cheerful yet quiet enough for a more romantic evening! If you go I’d highly recommend getting the Thai chicken flatbread!!!

Healthy, delicious options, decent parking, friendly staff, nice seating! I highly recommend making a reservation though if you’re planning on going during a busy time!

Vegetarian dream come true. Unreal and delicious. I had the pea tendril salad with fresh ricotta and the Thai shrimp lettuce wraps. The dressing on the wraps was addicting. Super spicy and so yummy! One of the best things I’ve ever eaten. Everything was super fresh and my waitress was so friendly. I also had the lemonade with half seltzer– so refreshing. I’ll be back here again!

Best food I’ve had in a while. We ordered the ginger carrot soup and the Mediterranean vegetable soup. My boyfriend got a salmon cake which was good, but the tuna melt I ordered was just the right amount of melt with explosion of flavor. I want the recipe to the ginger carrot soup — absolutely amazing. We also got a wheatgrass and orange juice shot, and it was blended well and was an interesting but delightful combination.

We were in the mood for something healthy but that also wouldn’t break the bank. We found such a gem at The Good Earth. Don’t let outdoor and indoor décor fool you, this place is special. The building itself definitely looks like it used to be an old franchise like an Ihop or something of that nature, but don’t judge a book by its cover! The menu offers a super large variety of in house fresh squeezed juices, smoothies, and nutritious drinks, as well as a nice wine menu. Their food ranges from soups, salads, burgers, sammies, and fish. It is extremely affordable and the quality of the local ingredients can’t be beat. For two people our bill was $ 34 before tip! They also have sweet treats in their bakery in the front so there is something for everyone.

This was a good find with a number of healthy salads offered and selection of juices smoothies teas. I had the salad trio and it was great choice with lots of flavor. Tried the Copacabana smoothies which was also delicious. Portions are right size and nice hummus and bread served too.

Really good restaurant. We arrived at about 9:30AM and had a two minute wait. Really enjoyed the breakfast and the service. I’d go here again.

This place was healthy before it was cool to be healthy. Has a great outdoor seating. I usually go here for breakfast or lunch with a friend. For the longest time I couldn’t help but order the cashew chicken every time. That is one of their longstanding specialties. Everything is fresh and healthy — whole grains, lots of vegetables and nice presentation. I have ventured on from the cashew chicken to many different menu items from salads to eggs to wraps. All very good. One if my favorites is the curry chicken.
This is a great place to go in the summer as they have a really nice patio.

The service was awesome. The artichoke dip with pita bread was yummy. But my salmon main course with cabage was okay. I mean if you eat it all in one bite then it was good but by itself it was okay. The vega mary was okay i only liked the pickled pepper. I’m just picky.

One of the yummiest meals I’ve had in a long time and outstanding customer service. Good Earth in Roseville never disappoints. Had an Almond Tuna Melt and a hot mug of the Good Earth’s original tea. My server, Rachel, packed up some white flat bread and a cup of hot tea to go. I feel like a princess. I’ll be back again soon.

I have been here many times. I love their juices and go green lemonade. So good. Food is consistently good. Kids menu could be better though.

The food overall is excellent, even if you have dietary restrictions. The restaurant has a gluten free menu which is great, but I wish they would update their menu a bit to accommodate people with multiple food allergies, i.e. eggs, all grains, dairy, and nuts, and for those who need to follow an autoimmune protocol diet. The menu appears to be heavy on whole grains, something that I can not eat. The chefs are willing to accommodate.

Awesome! Fresh and healthy choices. I loved it! I wish they would expand to locations in the south!
For people who say this place is bland– it may be because it isn’t loaded down with sodium like most restaurants. I was refreshed to have a meal that isn’t going to make my fingers swell tomorrow! They let the natural flavors of the dish shine!
The tropical spinach salad was very good and the trout was also exceptional. I left feeling full but not full of grease and salt! #winning

Took my daughter and her family here for my granddaughter’s birthday dinner. Three adults and two kids. Five different menu choices and the only one happy with their dinner was the six year old with a cheese pizza from the kids menu.
Totally unimpressive food without a lot of flavor.
It was wine special night so we tried the $ 10 bottle. I’ve never gotten a bottle of wine that cheap in a restaurant before and should have known better. Probably a great value if you don’t normally drink wine.
The service here was really excellent so it is a shame the food was poor enough that none of us will be going back.

I’ve had both poor and great experiences at Good Earth, so here we are at 3stars.
The first time here was around 7−8pm on a weekday. Regardless, service was slooooow. Our server was also unsure of the major allergens in the meals. For example, I was pumped to order and scarf down that turkey meatloaf, but I have a nut allergy and had an inkling to ask if there were pine nuts in the loaf. He did not know, but I asked him to please ask the kitchen and sure enough, there were some in it. Good thing I asked! I ended up trying the bison burger and it was overcooked and dry. Womp womp.
But recently, I went back. I figured going to «Good Earth» for lunch was basically like going to the gym. There was a big lunch rush and even a waiting list, but as just a lone luncher I got seated right away. My server was the shit. So sweet and bubbly! I got the Go Green Lemonade and found it to be really tasty. However, there was so much ice in it, and it got watered down. For my main, I wanted the coconut curry real bad. The ingredients are listed as: Chicken breast, bok choy, sweet red and green peppers, purple onion and fresh basil, wok-​seared with coconut milk and Indian curry, served with wheatberry rice and mango chutney. But low and behold, I asked if there are nuts in it and yes! It’s a peanut based sauce. Good Earth! Tell the good people about these common life-​threatening allergies on the menu! Jeeeeez! So I got the turkey sliders — which were crazy juicy and perfectly sweet & savory due to the cranberries and wild rice. The seasonal cup of corn chowder was good also and not too heavy.

My PopPop took me here and it was amazing.
When you first walk in you are at a bakery where there are cookies and cakes and freshly baked breads. Ask to be seated and you can have the best vegetarian food! There are plenty of non-​vegetarian meals as well but I am a vegetarian so I didn’t try those.
The service was good and we got humus and bread as a starter. There were so many options for me to choose from but I ended up getting the stir fry wok vegetables. I had them leave out the mushrooms and water chestnuts because I am not a fan of those. The waitress didn’t question it and the meal was perfect. I got a rhubarb smoothie as well and it was enjoyable but not as sweet as I had hoped. It did taste healthy.
I got a cookie on the way out.
My PopPop had said eating here would be like eating tree bark covered in hummus. I was glad he was wrong :)

The first time I went here, there was a long wait over lunch break so I skipped it. I came back another day later in the afternoon and was seated right away. My server was super attentive and patient with me while my indecisive ass tried to decide what to order– it all looked and sounded so good! I finally settled on the stir fry omelette with greens. It also came with some bread and hummus that came out ahead of time, that was nice. The omelette was AMAZING and I ate the entire thing, even though it was HUGE but I kept telling myself it’s healthy so it’s okay.
They don’t have sriracha.
On the way out the door, I paused over the baked goods for a long time, but didn’t get anything. It looked good, but I already felt like a piggy. There was some kind of turtle bar that looked amazing!
I would come back here ALL THE TIME if it was close/​convenient for me.
