Endodontic Associates Dental Group

To be honest, this was my first root canal. I had a crown done on the tooth in question and after a few months was when it started to hurt. I went to my dentist and he recommended getting the work done here. Thank God for that recommendation. The receptionist, Barbara, had called me the day before and gave me a quote of how much I would pay out of pocket (after billing the insurance). Dr. Bell made sure that I was comfortable and that I barely felt any pain. He always stopped and applied more anesthetic so that I didn’t feel anything. Granted half my jaw was numb but it was a job well done and they made sure the crown did not crack or break (which I was worried about since I didn’t want to pay for another).

I just had my first root canal. I dreaded the procedure to the point of losing sleep. My tooth was very painful and coupled with all the horror stories I have heard through the years, I was not a happy camper. What a pleasant surprise! The only pain I felt was the cold test at the beginning to determine how much numbing agent to use. After that, not a thing. Dr. Kolber and his assistant Ms. Adonna were fantastic. They explained every step of the process and kept monitoring me. They worked very hard to make the procedure as painless and comfortable as possible.

I had a crack tooth that required a root canal. I’ve had them before and they are not pleasant. The staff was very efficient and through and wanted to make sure I had a good experience. The doctor took care to insure the correct amount of anesthetic was given so no pain was felt and it was a pleasant visit that if I had to do it again, I wouldn’t worry about any pain. The office was recently built and equipped with the newest and latest dental equipment and machines and is a very impressive and modern facility. The receptionist was courteous and explained every step of the procedures so I would understand what would be happening. Now I go back for the crown to complete the process tomorrow with another doctor and overall it was a well received visit.

From the moment I entered the office everyone was welcoming & so professional! I needed a root canal & had never had one before. I was nervous to say the least. I saw Dr. David Keating, he was so thorough about what to expect down to every detail. During the procedure he was so gentle & was good about asking me if I was doing ok! This procedure was a piece of cake! NO PAIN! I was so grateful & happy it was such a smooth procedure! Thank you Dr. Keating & everyone at Endodontic Dental & Associates group. Who like’s getting a root canal? However, the office staff is so friendly and welcoming it made things a lot easier. Even the doctor was very kind and pleasant. He spent time explaining the entire process. Turns out I didn’t need the root canal, it would not have saved my tooth and it will have to be extracted. But, I told them if I ever need a root canal I will certainly come back to this office.

IMHO; I was referred here by a new dentist. I was scared because I had a dentist in Yuba City that scared me while drilling and filling my teeth. This was my first root canal. I was told they didn’t do laughing gas/​Valium, I was nervous about not having that option. I went in the doctor and assistant were so helpful. He numbed me good. When he was doing my root canal I almost fell asleep. He was that good! I highly recommend Dr. Kolber!

I was referred here by my Dentist. After getting a temporary crown placed last week I started experiencing pain in that tooth mostly when eating, but just biting down was difficult; he thought that I may need a root canal before I get my permanent crown on in two weeks…
The receptionist at Endodontic Associates Dental Group was REALLY nice when I called in to set up an appointment and BONUS, she was able to get me in within an hour and a half of my call (how awesome!). She even took down my insurance information over the phone and called them herself to figure out my coverage.
Everyone was really friendly when I arrived. The office is very clean and calm.
I was called back within ten minutes of getting there (which was fine because I had a little bit of paperwork to fill out anyway… not a lot). The Dr was really nice and gentle and his assistant was very friendly as well. They explained everything to me before they did it and the Dr. kept asking if I was okay.
I ended up not needing a root canal that day; as they thought that my pain was caused by my temporary crown being place on a little too tightly. So he removed the crown and replaced it hoping that would do the trick.
I’m waiting a few days to see how the tooth does but if I do end up needing a root canal, I know I’m in good hands (and will update my review).
Would definitely recommend!
UPDATE– 12÷18÷14
I was still experiencing some pain that actually seemed worse than before, so I decided to call them back and try to make an appointment for the root canal. I called as soon as they opened at 8:00 A.M. and got an appointment for 12:45 P.M. the same day (amazing!!!) — Their Rocklin office was closed (as they rotate throughout the week) so I was sent to their Sacramento location on Professional Drive.
Again, everyone was so friendly and the office was nice and clean. The Dr. examined my tooth and decided that a root canal was the best way to go. He started right away and talked me through the entire process. BONUSSSS… I didn’t even feel the needle as he was numbing me (which is always my biggest fear, as I’m sure it is for most people). He kept asking me if I was okay and told me that if I ever felt like I needed a break to let them now. The process was painless and seemed to go pretty fast. I was done before I knew it.
It has now been about 5 hours since I left the office and the numbness has worn off. Guess what… NO PAIN! I no longer have the pain I was experiencing that caused the need for a root canal and I’m not experiencing any pain from the root canal itself. The assistant recommended that I take Advil before the numbness wore off (all I had was Ibuprofen), but I took two as soon as I got home and I’m feeling GREAT.
I’m so happy to no longer have any pain. The last few days were very difficult to get through with constant pain and tenderness… and eating was excruciating (yes, even soft foods). Although I stuck to soft foods for tonight, I tried chewing a bit on the side that was worked on and… NO PAIN! Yay! :)
So, I’ll say it again… I HIGHLY recommend!

Was referred here by my family dentist. Staff is very friendly, doctor was good and very professional. It was a great experience.

This office is best of the best! The office is beautiful and the staff is warm and inviting. I was seen by Dr. David Keating and his assistant Dan. Both of them were genuine and caring. They explained every step of the procedure and constantly make sure you are comfortable. The procedure was quick and pain free (even getting numb was a breeze!) I would highly recommend them! Dr. David Keating may look young but he knows his stuff, has precise skills and a plethora of knowledge. Easiest dental visit ever!

5 stars alone for Beverly at the Rocklin office. She was able to save me part of the cost for my root canal after looking over my insurance. Dr. Keating worked on my root canal along with an assistant and it was painless. I didn’t even need any medication for pain relief afterwards. Going to the dentist isn’t my favorite thing to do but the staff at Endodontic Associates Dental Group made the experience less nerve-​wracking for me.
