Gf and I would regularly go here on a weekly basis back in 2009 — 2010, the manager and a couple of the servers were great. Price/food were both reasonable, decent portions, etc. That was back when it was«Daphne’s Greek Café», back when there was murals on the walls and actual GREEK music in the background. As the years went on, it seemed like each time we went back, there were new workers/manager, mural gone, Greek music/replaced with trendy music, «artist of the month» pamphlets near the checkout like you’d see at Starbucks coffee, smaller portions, prices raised. That’s the result of it becoming Daphne’s «California» Greek café. The quality of the food is the same, the variety has changed. Certain things were certain things there that stood out, like their chicken pesto melt sandwiches, which for a time they would still make even though it’s no longer on the menu. Now they don’t. You have to spend twice as much to get the same«pita points». Again, the food isn’t bad but it wasn’t the same as it used to be.

The food here is always consistently good. That’s not the problem. We had the mix-and-match plate and they gave us for little small pieces of pita. We still had half of our meat left over after we ate our four little small pieces of pita…

I had the $ 5 gyro sandwich they were advertising on the front door and I would say it was better than a five dollar foot long but kind of small and left me hungry when I finished it. This is a good alternative to some other fast food restaurants and it’s worth checking out to try something different.

Enjoyed wonderful lunch in outdoor seating. Good food. Wish salmon piece was larger as it was so tasty.

The food is completely average. I ordered what I thought was supposed to be a chicken gyro but got the lamb/beef. Whatever, still looked delicious so I didn’t complain. My side salad was soggy and tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. It was so vinegar-y. Still, I ate. Honestly I love Mediterranean food so I ate it like a champ but it was not the best. It was disappointing

This place has gone off the rails. It was once good, but now it’s completely mismanaged and the quality of the food has plummeted. The wait times for a simple pita are easily 10 mins or more, crazy considering the 4 – 5 staff members and cooks behind the counter. My pita was hard as a rock and the ingredients weren’t even close to what was advertised. I brought them back and they eventually served me a dish that had the advertised ingredients. Madness. I hope an owner or manager reads this and gets this place back into working order.

I come here all the time, the manager Mauricio is great. However, i came in yesterday at about 6:15PM, they were moderately busy. i ordered a mix and match, street pita combo, and a kids meal. When I got home and checked my order, everything was messed up. Half the gyro meat was burned beyond recognition. They gave me four TINY pieces of pita bread, much less than i usually get. Also, the portion on the gyro meat was very small, much less than i usually get(not to mention half of it was inedible). The icing on the cake was they didn’t give me any sauces for any of the meals. I had no tatziki and NOSALADDRESSING. really awful preparation and follow through on the order. as a longtime food service worker, this was unacceptable and i will let the manager know next time I will be ordering from the location on Fairway instead!

I came here for lunch today, and this was the second time they messed up my order(same man both times). Both times I have ordered a grilled chicken pita with a side salad. The first time they gave me a gyro sandwich with fries and today they brought out a gyro salad. I enjoy the food here but why must my order be mixed up everytime and I end up waiting even longer.

Food takes forever to come out considering it is a fast casual place. Somehow, they were out of rice. Food is typically good. Won’t be back…

Not bad. As good as a gyro can get. Meat was hot other ingredients were fresh. Place is clean. Cashier could have been more engaging, but she was efficient. Nothing to mention to office workers or friends.

My family and I were here strictly for the baklava dessert. Not too impressed with their actual menu, seems really Americanized Mediterranean food and I feel like I could have selected a few other restaurant options for a more authentic experience. The Baklava was decent, although it was definitely nothing to write home about.

I just finished scarfing down my fresh-carved gyro sandwich… yummy! I’d say 4.5 stars for my first visit. Had an incling for something fast but semi-healthy, which meant McD’s in the same shopping center was out. Had to resist my fry-urge. Service was very good, although the cashier didn’t seem to know much about the menu when I asked a couple questions(what meat was the fresh-carved & what is tabouli). Luckily, the store manager was right there to answer any/all my questions, including catering, as I’m always on the lookout for a good place that will deliver lunch to the office. He even gave me an extra tzatziki sauce when I asked. Nice! I’ll definitely give this place another shot, no doubt!

Food is good, but has gotten pricey for what it is. Portions aren’t that big. Service is slow. Employees hang around talking while you’re waiting to order or waiting for food. Shouldn’t take 20 minutes when you’re the only patrons in the restaurant. Meh.

I am updating my review to say they have been getting the orders correct more often. They recently lost a good girl who worked there, but the others are still nice and are doing a good job. A few months ago, they started this really annoying thing where the cashier yells out the order(this is not a coffee shop or a diner, so please stop and pay full attention to the customer!). The Street Pitas are ridiculously small now. We noticed they were substantially smaller a few months ago(about the same time they started yelling the orders), but today was so comical that I took a photo(sorry not posted). The cookies are really yummy especially when fresh out of the oven. So, I’m keeping my rating at 3 stars.

Chicken was undercooked, and when I brought it up to them, they just said, «Okay» and didn’t even offer anything to compensate. Will not be going here again.

The hand carved gyro here is amazing dipped in tzatziki sauce and I really like the pitas here. Those are my two favorite things!!!

I’ve always liked coming here for lunch! The food is good and consistent. The reason I give this place 5 stars is not only for the food but the customer service. The staff is always nice, they bring the food out to you and occasionally check on you to make sure everything is okay. I always have a good conversation with a staff member! It anyone wants some quick easy Greek food and great service stop by here!

Came in and stood for a couple of minutes at the cash register before a couple of rude young ladies, who acted like they’d rather be cleaning toilets, finally appeared. After we ordered and were waiting to eat I noticed an advertisement on the tables titled«Kids Eat Free Sunday». I asked one of the young ladies what this was and she said«Oh, kids get a free kids meal when you order an entrée.» I guess this slipped her mind when we ordered food for two kids! Great food but terrible service.
