Best Cheesesteak Sandwich I have had since my visit to the Green Olive in Rancho Cordova. Keep up the great work! I will come again.

Beware: their cheesesteaks are addicting!!! My husband and I eat here at least 2x/month. The owner Paul is so nice and makes a mean cheesesteak! The service is great too, Nick is always ready to take your order and deliver your food. My personal favorite is the Hoagie Cheesesteak cuz’ I love lettuce and tomato on my sandwich. My hubby likes the BBQ or Pizza Cheesesteak. The meat is high quality, the bread is super fresh, the white American cheese melts perfectly over your piled up meat, and they have a great selection of sides. You gotta check this place out!!!

I don’t know what all the hype is about. I had their classic cheesesteak with cheese whiz and it pretty much tasted like Hamburger Helper. I’ll try something else if I ever go back but $ 8 is a bit pricy for what I got this time.

Hi-ya! Stopped here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t want typical fast food so… cheesesteak it was. The place is clean and reasonably maintained. The food menu was clearly presented on large blackboards and made for an easy selection. There was a large assortment of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Ordered a cheesesteak with onion rings for a good price. The cheesesteak was as expected – fair, but what makes all sandwiches yummy are the sides. The spicy/pickled peppers and crispy onion rings were on point. The ambience was casual; albeit fairly sparse art décor – exempting the sports paraphernalia adorned on the walls and pictures of other cheesesteak stops. Overall the food was reasonable and prices good – 4 stars.

Fogive the 5 stars, but this place is heaven on earth to me. I am from the East coast and have been looking for a real steak and cheese spot since I have been in California. I can’t even remember how we found this place, but I’m so happy we did. The owners are cool and they could not believe that we were coming all the way from Greenheaven to get sandwiches. The restaurant is a small quant lil spot with t.v.‘s and they sale a variety of items, but the truth is I only come for the steak and cheese sandwiches. Whenever we come we will get about 4 or 5 sandwiches. They also have the card were as if you purchase so many sandwiches you will get a free one.(I believe its 10). Honey that card fills up so fast, and I look forward to my free one. It’s so sad that I can’t tell you all what else they sale here except fries and macaroni salad and that because its right in front of me to see. They do sale alcohol, mostly beers and I believe margaritas in the can. It’s a pretty cool spot. The steak and cheese subs are on hit. The truth, the bomb! The meat is the real deal. The owners said that they get the steak from back east. I have tried a lot of what’s supposed to be steak and cheese and have even disappointed so many times. I don’t think that some of these places know what steak and cheese is. I don’t want that fake steak, like the steak um that most of these places sale. This is the real deal here at this place here Cheese Steak Grill. Love it! buy my own

Been going here for several years. It’s always pretty good but I noticed now that they are putting less meat on the philly sandwich, maybe as little as half of what they used to. Thankfully, the prices have not risen. Also, our evening visit at about 6:30 pm had us waiting over a half hour for our food, as there was only one cook and several orders in front of us. Please get an additional cook for busy evenings.

This place is alright. The first time I ate here I LOvED it, but each time I have tried it again, I would go in with excitement and then be disappointed that it was just mediocre. Hopefully I will be pleasantly surprised again, if I ever go back.

Good cheesesteaks. Not great. Main complaint is the quality of the beef. They seem to use the lower quality frozen beef patties. The bums are a little skinny. Veggies are fresh, open refill fountain drinks, and good condiments. I eat here about once a month.

Holy mother of cheese steak goodness. I pretty much refuse to get one anywhere else other than here, because I know nothing else compares! I always get the traditional with white cheddar and the to dieeeeee for chili cheese fries. My fiancé has tried almost every sandwich but usually sticks with the blue ribbon. So worth it every time! I don’t even care if it’s considered on the«high price» side, it’s worth it when the food is this good!

Um… HOLYCOW this place is great! I walked in last night at 7:50 or so. They closed at 8, but happily served me anyway. This is the only cheesesteak place in the area I’ve found that serves Cheese Whiz, and that’s a huge plus. I’d never eat Whiz in any circumstance except on a cheesesteak, where it coats the meat in delicious cheesy juice. I got the Killer, which comes with hot sauce and jalapenos, and it was simply fantastic. The fries were super crispy and the meat was great. Overall the best cheesesteak I’ve had. If I ever go to Philadelphia I hope it tastes like this place.

Best cheese steak place I have been to. I have been to a few others around town. They make it how you like it. Tastes so very yummy! We love, love there fries! There onion rings are very good also! They have Fountain soda drinks, bottled drinks, beer and beer pitchers. :-) A few of the others in town do not sell French fries. I love French fries with most all of the sandwiches I order. I wish more places had French fries also. :-)

Love their food. It’s greasy, but no more than any other fast food place. Pricing is a bit high, so make sure you’re really in the mood to enjoy it. Total cost for a large sandwich and fries is about $ 15. Portions aren’t enormous, and I often am still hungry afterwards. Still the best cheesesteak place around. It’s always clean. Only table seating, no booths. There’s a TV, but it’s always only on sports. The owners are constantly there working. They’re friendly.

Very clean place! Cozy setup screen to watch the game and a large wall chalkboard with the whole menu. Food is made fresh to order and the side salad was equally fresh! Very much enjoyed! I had been craving a blt and I was across the street at taco bell when I saw this place and decided to give it a try. Very satisfied!

Truly pains me to say this. This sandwich shop offered me nothing but a greasy slop on a toasted roll. Have you ever walked into a situation feeling great but by the time you left, you felt sick. There i was… It’s unfortunate that in such a kickass day with my wife, things could take such a philly fiasco. The owner of the place left a lasting impression i wish I could forget. I spent 25 bucks for a small fri and 2 sandwiches, and even though it made me want to barf, I held it together with only a tear that ran down my cheek as i muster out a smile for my wife. I truly appreciate being able to enjoy her company but deep inside i cried knowing this was her first philly and fries… although I deeply love my wife, this in no way was a“philly“ated to a good time.

This food was waaaay better than I expected! It was awesome. I had a bbq cheesesteak with cheeze whiz and pepper jack and chilli cheese fries. The chilli was made with some sweet peppers so it was unconventional but good. I will definitely be back.

HANDSDOWN… THRBESTCHEESESTEAKIVEEVEREVEREVEREATEN! I’ve been to cheesesteak spots all around sac, Bay Area and LA. When I see cheesesteaks on the menu I’m reluctant to order it because after having the cheesesteaks here I feel like I’ll be disappointed lol. Seriously the bread is warm and soft, the meat is finally chopped up and the authentic Philly style cheezwhiz tops everything off and the flavors magically dance with eachother! You must try the traditional! Keep it simple and tasty, I’ve yet to try anything else there because I’m not or ever will be tired of their cheesesteak!

I’ve been wanting to try their Philly Cheesesteak to see what the fuzz is about and it did not dissapoint! It’s probably the best I’ve had in the Sacramento and surrounding cities. The only drawback is that the large order is not big enough to satisfy my appetite but I’d definitely come back and have it again

The one and only review I ever had censored came from this place. I said something about real cheese whiz and it giving me a love explosion. I don’t regret it either.
