A Positive Option provides «house calls», SKYPE, and telephone Addiction Therapy and Life Coaching services. We specialize in the harm reduction treatment approach and the spiritual dynamics of recovery. In addition to addiction counseling we also offer life skills training for those living with depression or bipolar disorder. In order that no one is turned away, we do provide a sliding scale.

Your guide, Patricia Reynolds-​Meade, has a unique understanding of the confluence of spiritual lack and mental health. Pat consistently offers fresh insight, inspiration, and practical solutions to life’s problems. She works with a wide variety of clients; from addicts to domestic violence victims; from Christian to Gay and Lesbian. More importantly, she loves helping others.

A Positive Option was a vision I had to provide services in client’s homes instead of having to go into a treatment facility.

Business Owner

Patricia Reynolds-​Meade has been an Addiction Counselor and Life Coach from as far back as she can remember. She had her first intervention in the girl’s bathroom in middle school at age thirteen years old. Pat is passionate about using her skills and talents to motivate and empower her clients, especially women, to live abundant lives and eliminate emotional pain.

Pat is a graduate of Liberty University, an active Mental Health Board member, and avid networker in her community. More importantly, she loves helping others. She maintains a private practice near Sacramento, CA in Roseville.
