Timeless Trees offers one-on-one training through intensive bonsai classes and workshops. We teach you how to care for your bonsai and keep them healthy and looking beautiful. History

Established in 2009.

Hurley Johnson began this hobby nearly 20 years ago. At that time he had no plans for a business and only wanted to learn how to better care for his few trees. Fast forward many years and he became a member of the Houston Bonsai Society. Despite meeting many other people in the area with the same interest, it still seemed like something was missing. The few nurseries around the Houston area carried mostly landscaping flowers and shrubs and not many supplies specific to bonsai trees.

With the help of his wife Ginger and support of his other bonsai friends, Hurley started Timeless Trees in 2009 to help provide better bonsai supplies and instruction to the Houston area. With the power of a small local family business, Hurley is able to bring great instructors into the area (alongside the local instructors) and supply the need for bonsai tools, soils, etc.

Business Owner

Hurley Johnson has lived in Texas for most of his life. He graduated with an engineering degree from Georgia Tech and started up a networking and cabling business (also located in Rosenberg). He never had plans to start another business again. He married his wife Ginger and combined the families with 2 sons and 2 daughters. He now has 2 grandsons and balances his networking business, Timeless Trees, a boat and RV storage facility, family life, multiple organizations, and still manages to have time at the end of the day to throw a ball around with his 3 dogs.
