History

Established in 2008.

Absolute Painting & Finishing, LLC was founded in 2008 after the owner, John Scott, had spent the previous 12 years learning the trade under other employers. The company was founded with the belief that we could provide a wider array of services, higher quality, and at a better price.

This has been achieved by partnering with strong individuals/​businesses within the trade and adopting the mind set to cultivate future business by caring for existing customers. In other words, our customers now are the seeds that grow next year’s crop.

Meet the Business Owner

John S.

Business Owner

John began working in the painting trade during his high school years for a family member. Other avenues were explored for a job, but he always found himself ultimately returning to the painting world. A full-​time desk job was not in the cards, it appeared!

His skills and knowledge base were honed working for other contractors (mostly members of his own family) over the course of approximately 14 years, until he established his own business in 2008.

John lives in the Rosemount/​Lakeville area with his wife, 2 children, and Labrador retriever. If he’s not working or spending time with his family, chances are he’s fishing or hunting with friends and family.
