I have purchased various Diane Von Fursternberg dresses from Nordstrom. I decided to go into the outlet store to see if there are any good deals(because those dresses are definitely not cheap). When I walked in I was met with… nothing. No «hello,» no «Hi.» No one said a word. There were 2 women in the shop. Not one of them welcomed me in or offered help. I decided to go back once more yesterday. I wanted to give the store another chance. Again. NO welcome. NO help. I walked out, and will never return again. Perhaps acknowledging the customer is something these snobs behind the counter should work on, instead of talking about what restaurants they like.

«Let’s go in here. I want to feel RICH!» Although that’s what I said to my friend when we walked in, I was shocked at how reasonably priced(reasonable for a couture designer) DVF’s items were. There were several cocktail dresses under $ 100, and I loved 2 – 3 of them. Sizes run up to size 12, and many clothing items were available in multiple sizes. No over-picked stuff here. There were sandals on clearance and a nice variety of handbags and wallets as well. DVF is one of the shops in the Fashion Outlets that attract tourists 10x more than some shops. I’m not a fan of these crowds, as they tend to congregate in front of racks, hog the racks, and shout at each other as if they’re starring in an episode of «Supermarket Sweep.» These folks can also be found at Tory Burch at Prada. The sales girls here were quiet but not completely standoffish. I felt welcome to browse. If I were at the Fashion Outlets again, I wouldn’t mind stopping in again.
