It’s ok if you’re feeling lazy and don’t want to venture outside for breakfast/lunch. Parking can sometimes suck. I’ve only been at SCE for 2 years and I’ve noticed the prices going up and portions getting smaller. Despite this, there are some days I cave and grab a breakfast burrito or some bacon pancakes out of hangry desperation. They need to introduce more variety. It’s the same stuff over and over. Can we get some chicken fried steaks?

They’ve recently went through an almost year long renovation and is now open! For SCE employees only(and permitted guests). Prior to the renovation, I enjoyed their build your noodle bowl station, their salad station(yummy shrimp salad), and their grill station. Post renovation, I tried their sweet potato fries. It’s cut criss-cross style and a good snack at $ 1.99 per order. They’re also open for breakfast and snack time. Looking forward to their soup on Fridays — it’s some variation of a type of seafoodish chowder. =)

Overpriced, poor quality, poor staff. The worst of everything.

Quality, fresh ingredients, and reasonable prices. Excellent variety as well. Salad bar is well stocked and Mongolian BBQ station is tasty and a great value. Friendly service to boot. Magic himself was there on opening day.

This is the cafeteria recently taken over by Sodexo-Magic that is located in the General Office building for Southern California Edison. Food in general here is satisfactory — The grill typically has pretty good daily specials, the salad bar or preset salads meet expectations and the sandwich, burrito, and warm dish stand all typically provide pretty tasty food. As indicated above, the cafeteria certainly has a large variety of food to choose from, both during breakfast and lunch. At breakfast, foods include oatmeal, pastries, pancakes, breakfast burritos, chilaquiles, omelets, fresh fruit, and a host of other options. Lunch options include the above as well as pre-made sushi, soups, and stir-fry noodle dishes. While the food is probably 4 – 5 star range for a corporate cafeteria, the pricing on most of the items in the café is atrociously high. For example, one banana here will cost about $ 1 and 1 strip of bacon is about 70 cents… I think a premade 8 piece tuna roll goes for about $ 8 at lunch… ugh.
