I don’t always leave a review (yeah, one of those kind of lazy Unilocalers) but I have to leave one for Dr. Susan and her staff! I’m a long time patient from before Dr. Susan took over the office and I personally think the office is in great hands now. She’s very personable and fun to talk to and will make the best decisions for your eye care!
Her staff is great too and are very attentive. If you’re not sure which frames look great on you, Anna and the other girls will steer you in the right direction.
Dr. Susan and her team have gone above and beyond to send me contacts when I temporarily moved out of state for work and they do so with a smile.
If all of this doesn’t win you over, Dr. Susan keeps a usb charger available in the waiting room for her patients. Who else does that?!

Dr. Tran has good ethics and she really go above and beyond on her customer service. We don’t mind driving all the way from Santa Clarita to see her. My kids loves her and she is very honest to her patients.

Switched to Rosemead Op and it was a great decision. The customer service was great. The ladies were kind, quick, and efficient. Kept my son occupied with movies and Todd while I received my eye exam. Found a perfect pair of glasses that fit to my perfection. Couldn’t ask for anything better.

If you’re looking for an optometrist that is both knowledgeable and knows how to connect with the modern patient, this is the optometrist for you. I’ve been going to Rosemead Optometry for years now and when I decided to get LASIK, Dr. Tran not only gave me a great referral, but stayed in touch with me throughout the process to make sure my vision was perfect. She truly is a champion for her patients. Will continue going here until she retires.

I found out this place on Unilocal and yes, it is really a 5 star rating optometry! People there are very nice and friendly. Nena helped me patiently to pick sunglasses and gave me very helpful advices and suggestions. When I first picked up my sunglasses, it was a little bit too tight so they requested to replace a pair of thinner lenses to fit better to the frame, and since I needed to leave the U. S. on the following Monday, Dr. Tran has ordered overnight shipping for my lenses and brought my sunglasses to me in person on a public holiday! Such a great personalized and thoughtful service! Truly a the optometry to go.

Nina, the receptionist is super helpful and awesome. Switching to Rosemead Optometry is definitely my best decision. Susan is an awesome Doctor, I said I like the brown color lenses and she gave me 30 pack for free I forgot my appointment 3 times, but they still helped me reschedule it. Switching to Rosemead Optometry was really one of the greatest decisions that I have made regarding my own health care. The funny thing is, I didn’t actually plan to see Dr. Tran and came to see the previous doctor (not knowing that the location had switched doctors). BUT, from just one appointment and eye exam, I knew I was going to come back here annually if I were to have any problems with my glasses/​vision. It was incredibly easy to hold a conversation with Dr. Tran and she makes the visit to the doctors office enjoyable. She truly cares for her patients and only recommends the absolute best for each individual person. Along with that, you can tell that she’s willing to go out of her way to get to know her patients personally and provide the best health care possible.
Rosemead Optometry is perfect like ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision! I highly recommend this place to pretty much anyone who wants to get their eyes checked. The staff if great, the frame selection is nice, and Dr. Tran is really just top-​notch.

My first visit at this clinic is the most pleasant visit i ever had in my entire life! I walked out of the cinic, happy and contented!!! After visiting a walmart vision center i wasn’t too happy about the results that they had given so i wanted to look for a diffirent opthamlogist.
First i was so amazed on how their clinic looked like, was very clean, very inviting and very classy. The doctors assistant was very nice and accommodating.
I was very pleased with Dr. Tran because she was patient, informative and just all smiles! She helped me with my contact lenses and even gave me extra ones to try on plus extra colored ones for my vacation without charging me at all!!!
I have never felt this satisfied on my other visits to my doctor.
Please come and check them out, you will never regret on giving them a try. They are simply the best!

Switching eye care providers to Rosemead Optometry was the best decision ever! I live 45 miles away and it’s worth it! Dr. Susan and her staff made me feel very comfortable. She is in the know with new procedures out there and is very attentive, I’ve never had such personalized service as I have received here. My daughter has a high prescription and Dr. Susan went out of her way to make her feel comfortable and answered all our questions without hesitation. Ana and the staff are so friendly and helpful, she took the time to showcase their great selection of frames. I tried on so many of them and she was very patient with me ;-) Customer service at its finest!!! I am so happy that I was referred to Rosemead and have referred others and they are equally satisfied and raving about the customer service as well!

Such a great staff here. Everyone is friendly and they’re more than happy to help. I spent quite some time deciding on which pair of glasses I wanted. I wasn’t rushed and they were willing to provide honest opinions. I also asked for a new pair of glasses and they were more than happy to request one for me. Will definitely be returning for future visits.

My family and I have been coming to Rosemead optometry for a long time from a young age for services from glasses, to contacts, to athletic eye inujries you name it. I’ve always had eye problems so i had to go in quite often. I was hesitant to continue coming here when my old optometrist Dr. Pham left I considered switching to someone closer to me. But my sister went in for her regular exam and contact replacement and had nothing but glowing reviews for Dr. Tran. I decided to come in after that and see what my sister was talking about.
Of course my old trusted optometrist Dr. Pham would choose someone top tier to take over Rosemead optometry when she moved on. Dr. Tran is the best. She really cares for her patients and has gone above and beyond for me. She personally called me for my contacts follow up when she definitely could’ve had her office admins do it to make sure I had all my questions addressed and that I didnt need anything else.
The last thing that I can’t stress enough on any review I do is that you have to go in and meet your health care provider to really see and get a feel for them. if they just want your business or if they really care about your health and deserves to be a part of your medical team. For me I saw Dr. Tran really cares deeply about her profession and really makes a big effort to understand my specific needs. Any optometrist can do an eye exam and prescribe glasses, its those other elements that are important for the long term health of your eyes.

Dr Tran and Rosemead optometry is honestly the best. I originally went here just over a year ago for a regular eye exam. And I walked w awesome specs and contact lenses. At that time i thought this office was great from the manager/​secretary greeting me at the front desk, to the lady in back who makes your lenses/​frames right there, and of course Dr Tran who is thorough and super sweat. Since then I moved inland to Riverside so I’m far.
Recently I developed anterior uveitis. No Riverside optometrist would see me and the ophthalmologists who would see me were booked for weeks. Meanwhile my eye was red and hurting really bad. I called up this office because I remember Dr Tran saying she did a fellowship on some kind of eye disorder, so maybe she can treat my eye disorder. They said they could see me as a walk in and follow up with this eye condition as needed.
Now the inflammation is going down, minimal redness, and no pain. I have a couple more follow ups, it’s an hour drive for me, but I am happy knowing that my vision is well taken care of by Dr Tran and her staff. Thank you Rosemead Optometry!

Look no further, young grasshopper!
Dr. Tran is on a whole new level of care. What may seem like a normal optometrist will shock you when she remembers all the details about you. Not in a creepy way though. Lemme give you an example: she has me what I do and what school I go to and I replied with Nursing. Instantly, she suggested for me to wear daily contacts instead of bi-weekly’s because of the germ-​y environment that I deal with. How thoughtful :)
I tell her small little details such as the type of sunglasses that I like to wear and she remembered every detail such as «light and doesnt touch your cheeks.» It’s awesome; she doesn’t make you feel like you are just a walking pile of $$$, but someone she cares for.
Another brownie point goes to the fact that she is definitely NOT pushy when it comes to purchasing new frames or glasses. When I told her what kind of sunglasses I liked, she suggested to just try out some of the frames that she recommended for funsies.
Dr. Tran also emails you back for a follow-​up to see how your new glasses or contacts are working for you. She makes you feel like she still cares even after you leave the building. I can’t say any other doctor has ever given me that kind of care.
She will make things right for you and you won’t leave unhappy at the end of the day. Let her know if you have problems and don’t be afraid. She doesn’t bite: D. This is literally my optometrist from now on unless I move to another state lol.
Super duper happy with the care provided here and I am so grateful to have such a wonderful optometrist!

I love Dr Tran!
I reached out to her in the evening after hours because my 2 year old started to have discharge in his eyes, the first signs of infection. So I wanted to know if there was anything I can do and to make sure I can come see her first thing in the morning. She responded right away, showed genuine concern and offered great tips! She quickly called in a prescription and my son is on the mend.
Dr Tran will respond quickly when there is an emergency or any concern. She has a way of building a bond with her patients, even as young as 2 years old. We love Dr Tran and recommend her to everyone!

I’ve been coming here for about 3 years and Dr. Susan has to be one of the greatest optometrist I have ever met. I’ve been wearing contacts/​glasses since 6^th grade and have gone through my fair share of optometrists. I initially decided to stop by just to get a check up and renew my contact prescription because my goto optometrist decided to move further away. I had been to the office once before many years ago, it turned out Dr. Tran was the new doctor at the office. She was very welcoming, attentive and above all else professional. She is able to explain questions and concerns that I had in words that are easy to understand. So glad I found an Optometrist that I finally trust!

Dr. Tran is Ahhhmaazzing! She is genuine, positive, and professional. When I had a cyst on my eye due to stress. She was very thorough and presented different options for me to get rid of the cyst. When asked how it was developed, she thoroughly explained in terms that I can understand. In addition, I love the fact that she doesn’try to sell me frames or products. If needed, she would recommend it, but if it’s not necessary, she would be honest about it. I LOVE THAT!
Dr.Tran would stay after hours to make sure that her patients receive the best care. During her honeymoon, she continues to worry about her patients. Talk about Passion! ! It’s amazing how she continues to remain positive and have an upbeat personality every single time. I highly recommend her to everyone. I am very particular about my doctors, because I believe health should be a priority. Especially, your eyes. Therefore, if you’re looking for a passionate, honest, and sincere eye doctor, book an appointment with Dr. Susan Tran!
There is a big parking lot, so you do not have to worry about finding parking. Also, there is a Vietnamese restaurant located in the plaza, so if you’re hungry, you can grab a bite. The best part is that she has chargers for Ipads, phones, and etc. I find that very convenient! !
P. s. Her staffs are awesome. They are very kind and welcoming. .that makes it so easy to just drop by anytime. If you’re like me, you would want to feel comfortable walking into your doctor’s office.

FINALLY! I now have the best optometrist I’ve ever wanted. no more crappy service and over priced optometry anymore.
My S.O. has been coming to this optometry for over 5 years. The previous optometrist retired and handed it over to a younger optometrist named Dr. Susan Tran. She has trusted both optometrist ever since and recommended me to give this optometry a try.
I scheduled an appointment which is always the best thing to do and was taken care of right when I arrived. The front lady was very friendly and assisted me with information. Afterwards I checked out the glasses selection before Dr. Tran took care of me.
She really does more than any optometrist I’ve ever had (which is around 5). She checks everything good and bad about your eye and has the experience to recommend fixes if needed! She’s prompt and very very friendly. She makes sure you’re comfortable. When it comes to eyes she doesn’t mess around!
I’ve recommended at least 5 people and they’ve all said good things about her. So its definitely not just me! The place is also very nicely decorated and modern with a nice selection of frames.
Give rosemead optometry a try and you won’t be disappointed!

This is by far the most beautiful and welcoming optometry office in Rosemead. I have been seeing Dr. Susan Tran before and after the office transformation and there is such a huge change. It used to be like walking into that beat down Wal-​mart to get your $ 5 bathing suit and fake Mcdonalds, but now its like walking into a Nordstrom where the air is fresh, products are top notch, and the staff are a plenty and glad to help you.
The one thing that hasn’t changed is Dr. Susan Tran and her attitude towards patient care. She speaks English, Vietnamese, and Spanish and she is not afraid to use those languages. She did the most thorough examination on me and explained my nearsightedness and pingueculas, and did all the proper recommendations for eye health and eye wear. All other doctors in Rosemead just rushed me through the examination chair in under 5 minutes. What can you even check in 5 minutes? Dr. Susan Tran gave me the time and care that every individual needs. Her philosophy seems to be «everyone is different and everyone counts.» She’s the best.
All of these services are given at a reasonable price to help support her office and her business. I do not mind opening my wallet to a doctor who really feels like a family member taking care of me. You get what you pay for here and WAY WAY MORE than any other office you’d go to in Rosemead. I will be back, and I will bring my whole family. Thank you for your help.
PS. Whenever her husband Sonny comes in, it’s the greatest time. He always knows how to strike up a conversation and make me feel welcome… and he’s not bad looking.

This review is way overdue as I’ve been here a few times and had my review in draft for a while but after my most recent visit I had to make sure I got this in!
1^st off the office is awesome! Nice and clean (especially the restroom), family friendly with the TVs and constant movies or shows playing for the kids. They even have charging a charging station for your phones which I thought was cool. The eyewear selection is pretty awesome also as they carry more of the high end/​popular brands and styles which is the only problem I had with my previous optometry as I felt the eyewear selection was for 40+ year olds which made it hard for me going there from like 15yrs old on up lol.
The staff is always awesome when I come, especially Ana! She was super helpful in both suggesting frame types that go best with my face shape and then the best looking frames when tried on. She also took care of me when I needed my frames adjusted from my big head stretching them outward lol.
Last but not least Dr. Tran has been phenomenal in all my visits so far. Her great attitude and professionalism is always consistent. And what locked me into bringing my family here from my first visit on is how thorough and efficient she is. I had an eye incident a while back that got treated and healed but I didn’t fully understand what happened at the time. Dr. Tran examined my eye and was able to explain not only what the effects were on my eye from the incident and how it was treated, but also get me excited on the healing process it has taken. I loved that!
So as mentioned before my family and I will continue to visit dr. Tran for any and all of our eye care needs. And if my review doesn’t say enough, maybe the fact that we come from Murrieta/​temecula will ;) we highly recommend!
