I always come by the food court here, but have never stopped to try this place yet. I’m glad I did though! The food is good. I got the #1 which was teriyaki chicken rice. It came like a bento box, and I really liked the neat presentation and the love they put into making it. The chicken was tender, the rice was yummy with the sauce, the veggies were deliciously cooked in some way(seriously the veggies had this yummy seasoning or oil on it!), and I enjoyed the free tea. The lady who works there is so sweet and humble. Even if the food wasn’t that good, I’d eat here because of how sweet she is!— But it is good haha so the customer service is just a plus.

This little place is a winner in the category of family owned Taiwanese business with an owner lady who serves you like it’s her home and you are her treasured guest. I’ve have had better tea, I’ve had better soup, better seating, better choices… but I want to come here. I think that’s what counts. Bless her heart.

Such a hidden gem! The owner is super sweet, and everything that I’ve had here were excellent. Three cup chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned. Enjoyed my pork potage very much as well. They also do their beef noodle soup very well. Can’t wait to come back to try their other dishes! Cash only.

Great place in the middle of a food court. Got the chicken and rice and tried the pork. Super cheap to eat here. Only 6 bucks for a plate and it comes with lemon tea drink with any food order. The chicken was tender and it came with eggs. The lady that works there is super sweet. She said she would teach me Mandarin if I taught her English. Will come back.

With $ 6 in your pocket, there are endless combinations of lunches that you can purchase at this Rosemead food court. Walk up to any of the two Vietnamese-Chinese, Thai, or three Guangdong food stalls and you may be surprised by how low the prices are compared to dine-in eateries. The secret is that the food court rent is cheap, and since there is so much competition, some vendors do not even charge tax. After trying the food at Go2Deli, I believe this Taiwanese fast-food vendor is good enough to remain in business for years. It isn’t a place that serves popcorn chicken and boba milk tea, it’s more like a bento box operation with some quick serve meals. Like Tony C mentioned, the meals are affordable. There are several bowls of tasty and authentic Taiwanese stews for only $ 4. I ordered the chicken thigh rice because the owner(a shy grandma) was promoting it. The chicken was braised rather than deep fried, and the accompanying vegetables(broccoli, kai choy, peanuts) were cooked in light oil as promised. The light cooking style made this bento box taste homemade, a different style from the greasy and fried food prepared at Taiwanese snack shops like QQ and Quickly. I hope this family business can expand the menu with more authentic homestyle Taiwanese items in the future(like Taipei Bistro).

Big fan of the mixed«potage» with both the squid and the pork. The soup has deep flavors of dried bonito, and mushrooms, and complements the entire light-oil, semi-healthy cooking shown through the various bentos. Also, it is just a banging bargain at ~$ 4. The grams says she’s not internet savvy, so I attached their biz card in case anyone wants to call in and order. The beef bento is a banging bargain. Just a lovely, not so greasy, no-MSG taste of Taiwan.
