I’m new in town, and work near by this shop. I’ve heard only good things, so I went for an oil change. Seems simple enough, and I wouldn’t give 5 stars just for a good oil change. I’m taking the time to write this cause I really liked the owner. He is really attached to what he does, and In a short time I overheard enough conversations with other customers to know he genuinely cares about service above all else.

Was rear ended in my 2015 scion, I didn’t even have a license plate yet!!! Well I brought it into the shop to get it fixed, thankfully the person Who hit me had great Insurance that covered me. Anthony from the shop helped me so much. Made the process very easy for me. This place has great customer service, and the work done on my car was near perfection. Can’t even tell where I was hit. I highly recommended.

Had my car repaired here months ago and was so satisfied with the service I have already referred 3 of my family members to them for Service and repair.

BUYER BEWARE!!!
We purchased a 750Li BMW on August 15^th from Mike. Mike told us that the car had absolutely no problems and that everything was in a great condition. This was a straight up lie. Second, Mike promised to mail the second key to the car on the following Monday, along with the pistons to the hood. This again was a lie by Mike, as we still have yet to receive either of them. The following Monday (August 17) the break lining replacement light came on and the car began leaking fluids. The next day Tuesday (18^th) we call Mike to first ask if he mailed the key and pistons, and he then claimed it was his day off and would take care of everything tomorrow the next day. Also denied us from coming by the shop to pick up spare key (which he lied and did not have)
We called Mike multiple times on Wednesday (19^th), finally picking up after ignoring our calls claimed another mechanic had key and still not mailed the key because he could not get it that day and that «another mechanic» had key and pistons that they ordered did not arrive yet. Also said he had a repair shop in San Diego that I could take the car to and get it checked out and fixed up on him. Turns out that was another lie! Never gave name of shop or employee I could take car to, and once again stopped returning calls.
Called him again the following Thursday (20^th), Mike lies again by saying he mailed the second key (still have yet to receive key) and still no pistons for the hood. Claims that he no longer has a relation with shop and that there is nothing he could do. Hung up phone and was very rude and uncooperative during the situation. Ignored the rest of my calls that day.
The following day I take the car to a local shop in San Diego, they estimate the damage is $ 2,000 including replacing the breaks, the vacuum pump, and other problems with car. I called Mike to break the news when he finally answered was extremely rude, hostile, and uncooperative. Never let me finish as he hung up phone and did not return ant of my calls. Almost two weeks later, still no keys or pistons. The last thing Mike said to us was call our Lemon Law lawyer, which is what we are now doing. DO NOT BUY FROM MIKE.

I was having a very hectic week and had just finished moving to a new home when we began to experience a heat wave in Southern California. To make matters worse the AC in my car broke down. I had a really busy day at my own business and I was supposed to take my wife for a relaxing day to unwind but it wouldn’t be very relaxing if we had to drive around in an oven all day.
I called to ask if there was any chance that they could take care of my AC at all that day. I was not expecting any miracles. However, I got my miracle! They told me not to worry, they would take care of it, and they take care of it fast. They came through for me in a major way! These guys understand the true meaning of happy wife happy life!

Fast and friendly service. Came in for an oil change, hung out and watched a movie in their waiting area until it was done. Assistant manager is a really nice and friendly guy!

Apparently I left a review for a car lot that coincidently has the same name and is located very near by to this shop, so I have redirected my review.
The owner kindly contacted me to inform me of the mix up.

Fair warning, this is regarding the Auto Sales division (or hole in the wall dealership) but from what I’ve been told, it’s the same owner. I went in and test drove a 15 year old car that was overpriced by $ 5,000 according to KBB. I’d test drove a similar model that didn’t have what Econo Auto claimed was $ 15k worth of upgrades (of course the upgrades were also 15 years old), but the other car had 50k miles less and asking price was $ 8k, much more in tune with KBB. When I spoke to them about the difference in price, they (meaning Mike) got angry with me when I informed them of the other cars of the same model selling cheaper and right there in front of me, Mike (who claimed to be the owner), raised the price up a $ 1000 and said he wouldn’t sell it to me for less. Wow… to make things worse, they kept my driver’s license. When I called «Matthew» the following day to ask for them to return it, he got belligerent with me and hung up. I will be calling the BB as well as report them to DMV and cops! NO GOOD PEOPLE… be very careful dealing with these jerks! If you appear to be smarter than they, or actually walk in already knowing the cars value, they will disrespect you faster than you can blink. And oh yes, «Matthew» who test drove with me, claimed he had not been rude to me but agreed it was Mike that was rude. I apologized to Matthew, but within minutes, Matthew started yelling and cursing at me stating it was my fault he didn’t hand me back my driver’s license. Be lucky if you have not been ripped off by this company and even luckier if you have not had to deal with jerks who could care less and treat you like dirt.

This guys are great I bought a car from there dealership in Pasadena and for service I came here when I was buying the car the salesman was telling me about how great there repair shop is and if I ever have a problem they’ll help me and get me a great price on all services at first I was thinking it’s just part of his sals pitch but after 2 times coming to there shop now I realize that my old michanic that I had took me for a ride I had the timing belt service with this guys they charged me $ 350.00 dollars on my last car witch was the same type of a car but 4 years older my old michanic charged me $ 1200.00 and he used after market parts this guys did the same job faster using original parts for $ 350.00 I’m glad I bought the car from them so I find there repair shop and this guys do everything you can think of true car guys

Took in my Ford Fusion Energi to get bumper repaired from damage due to a cone on the freeway. Dislodged my fog lights and damaged my paint. Dropped of my vehicle late afternoon and picked up early morning the next day. Good fast honest service, would definitely come again for future repairs if need be.

They know what they doing and perfectly fix my car. Nice and experienced staff. The price is regular.

Now that I want to sell my car, I’ve been told by other mechanics that the brake and rotors I have are not good. Basically these mechanics here de-​valued my car with bad parts and labor. Really sad because they are nice people.

I’ve been coming here for quite a while now. I also made my roommate a regular customer, because the service is always reliable and guaranteed. How ever I came in for a synthetic blend oil change, and I specifically told the guy that my brake fluid was really low and my windshield wiper fluid was almost all gone, he said no problem. When I got home I checked and they did not fill my fluids… not to mention they tried to charge me an extra $ 10 to rotate my tires… they never charged me for rotating my tires and I never have had to go home and re-​check my fluids… I’m totally bummed!!! I really used to like this place… not to mention they keep changing management.

Finally a mechanic and shop I can trust! They were able to fix my car with in my budget. They told me step by step what needs to be done. They showed me what they replaced and explained to me why it needs to be replaced. Their service is warm and welcoming. Overall down to earth and straight forward. Thanks!

Always amazing service here. Never have issues with customer service. Ive bewn coming here for 2 years. The new management is actually more welcoming than the previous but none the less great price and great service.

Came in here for the first time today, the shop is under new management btw. The new manager Edgar was absolutely nice and funny. He seemed very honest about what the problem was with my car and was able to make a deal with me about the price. I will definitely come back to this place for my car maintenance from now on. — Joana

End up there today because the Goodyear store on the other end of the block is just too stupid (not to mention unorganized) for me to deal with. I had a leak from my tire, which Econo Lube do not advertised them self as something they works on. But I went in anyway. Mike at Econo Lube was fast to respond when I pull in their parking lot, the car was ready within thirty minutes as promises. The price was reasonable. They’re actually seems to care about their reputation when I mention their Unilocal rating. It’s admirable to find any mechanic who cares about his reputation! The next time I need something done on my car, this place would be my first choice!

Came here on my lunch break and they were pretty fast. The only thing that is kinda icky to me is the fact that they advertise $ 14.99 for an oil change (up to 4 quarts) but of course… it ended up being $ 20. Either way, during the oil change they also do a full inspection on your car which is a good way to earn more business. I found out I needed a lot more work done, which was also confirmed w. someone outside of their shop. This place is also conveniently located on a corner right off of a freeway & right across the street is a plaza full of shops. It’s perfect if you hate waiting in tiny spaces for your car to be serviced because you can always walk across & shop or eat. I would come back because the guy that works here is really chill & fast. Also, you should call ahead because it was pretty packed, even in the afternoon on a weekday.

I’ve been taking my family rides to this shop for the past 5+ years from services on basic oil change, brakes, and tune up… Never had a problem. Sum a great guy and honest what he does.
