These guys are great. Came in, no haggling, they had a great deal on a 2013 Highlander. They gave me a fair trade-​in for my truck and put on the tow package I ordered a few days later for free.

Saw an ad here the night before and came the next day — on a Sunday. The guy who helped us initially was brand new but so eager to give us exceptional service. Everyone there made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable and welcome. They processed our credit check applications far quicker than any other place I’ve bought a car from.
Start to finish, CH Auto was amazing. Their customer service is truly on point and they are very reasonable when it comes to price. They even gave us TWO free coffee mugs for checking in. I know this is a small gesture, but who doesn’t love something for free? I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a used car. We are so happy with the mini we bought from them a few months ago!

My mom bought a used car for my youngest brother recently when he transferred from UCLA to UCSF. My brother drove from San Francisco to Los Angeles often and never encountered any problems with his car so I decided to get my first used car there too.
Upon arrival at C H Auto, we were greeted by Joe. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. They have many selections to choose from but the one car that caught my eye was this close to new condition 2012 white Mercedes ML350. I fell in love at first sight! Love the color and the interior was super clean. I test drive the car and the engine was very smooth. I was happy with the pricing and the outstanding customer service he provided. I was overwhelmed with joy and decided to write my 2^nd review that night until I read the negative reviews. Immediately I had second thoughts. OMG! Maybe there will be problems arising soon! Did I get ripped off? Was it really a deal I thought I got? I could be paying for repairs soon and if so, how much? I felt horrible. I knew I should of read the reviews before heading there but funny thing is, my brother didn’t have NOT even one of those problems those people on Unilocal they claimed they had! It was like ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ in my mind, why would people write negatively? My brother never had car problems in San Francisco, even with that cold weather or the 70 degree slanted roads. Hmm.
I told myself to not over-​react and wait to see what happens to my car because the car is now mine! Since I read the negative reviews, I was actually waiting for my car to break down but disappointed to see it works fine every day! No funny sounds or leaks, etc. (I feel very silly now). Didn’t really know what I was waiting for, maybe one day it won’t start and I would be stranded somewhere OR some sort of liquid might be leaking and it would be costly to fix it. So about after a looong week, I couldn’t bear the frustration I was giving myself so I took it to a local mechanic (a friend of my aunt’s) and asked him if I should expect the unexpected but he confirmed that the car was in great condition. I felt so relieved hearing that. I was worried over nothing! All those negative Unilocal reviews was a bunch of xxxx xxxx.
This is my 2^nd review on Unilocal and I’m not an expert in suggesting or giving advise but to only tell you of my own honest experience. I noticed a lot of people write positive reviews for their friends AND having friends write negative reviews for their competitors. Yes, I admit I did a little bit of investigating on the negative reviews people left for CH Auto because I can’t believe my own experience was the total opposite. I found out that one Unilocaler that wrote a negative review lied because he wrote a similar review for another used car dealer! Another Unilocaler here stated in one of her Unilocal reviews that «XXXX» business was in business for 20 yrs but in fact, they weren’t even in business for 10 yrs! I goggled that. And another Unilocaler gave a 3 Star for $ 35 fee for «vehicle transfer of ownership» but what does she expect? FREE?! I believe $ 35 is very reasonable sweetie. Saving time and gas means saving money for me.
Don’t be fooled by the negative Unilocal reviews for C H Auto you read. You NEED to give them a try if you’re looking for a used car dealer. I’m extremely glad I did and thank goodness I didn’t read the reviews before hand!
Overall, it was an awesome experience for me. I DO NOT know Joe prior to buying my car. If there was a 10 Star, that’ll be my review. Don’t take my word for it, go experience it yourself. I researched & found out C H Auto have been in business for 30 yrs now so I guess C H Auto speaks for itself. It’s been 3 months now and I made the right choice. I love my car! We bought a used 1999 Toyota Sienna from CH Auto in 2009. Soon after we drove it off the lot, we started having electrical issues with the vehicle either stalling while running or not starting at all. We took it back and each time they would test it and find nothing, and after a while they decided to swap out the starter/​alternator. This worked fine for a couple of weeks until just after the expiration of the 30-​day warranty and then the problems started again.
Of course after the 30 days were up we were told to take a hike.
We ended up taking the van to a trusted mechanic who told us after a 10-​minute diagnosis that it was a bad (cheap) battery. In addition, he showed us the frayed and near-​failing timing belt, which we were assured by CH Auto had been replaced prior to sale and was brand new. Timing belts are cheap but the labor to replace them is expensive because they’re buried in there.
The total cost of replacing the battery and all belts, along with the brake shoes cost $ 1047.59 on this van that CH Auto had 1) been too incompetent to diagnose and 2) lied to us about. The good news is that after that one visit to the mechanic our van has been trouble-​free and we’re still driving it today.

I have to admit, I was a bit wary of buying a car from a used car dealership, especially an Asian one and after reading the other horrible Unilocal review… but after hearing some recommendations from a couple of my close family friends and persistent pushing from my parents, I decided it wouldn’t hurt to look around. (I actually wanted a new car, but for my parent’s sake, I looked for a second-​hand one.)
To be honest, I was expecting the worst (like sketchy salesmen and beat up weird cars) but was quite pleasantly surprised by the large amount of high end luxury cars that were available to choose from. There’s even a Ferrari available inside, but I was in the market looking for a used BMW. Once I arrived, my parents and I were greeted by very nice people. I remember one man in particular named John, who took the time to show us around to all the different models and to show me the great features in each one at the best price that fit well with my budget. I told him exactly what I wanted and exactly what I was looking for and I even gave him the amount I was willing to spend. I was surprised that they were even willing to work with me since I look very young for my age. (I gave them a 5 star because they accepted my offer that I thought was a bit low. I will recommend my family and friends to come here for future purchases.)
So far, I have no problems with my car at all (I bought it over a month ago.) My experience at CH Auto has really changed my perspective of used car businesses.
Trust me, I know how hard it is hard to find a good dealership with real genuine people you can trust, but the people there were so friendly and humble, that I would definitely go back there again.

i was looking for a use car and my friend recommended me to CH AUTO. She told me she bought a car there and they took care of her. So i decided what the heck ill give it a try. Got there and wow i have to say. alot of good looking cars and the price was fair. i got to look around and took my time. I end up buying an lexus gs300. They guide me to all my paperwork and answer all my questions. very nice and friendly. i would recommend CH AUTO to anyone that looking for a car.

I totaled my car in an accident and was looking for a replacement. I was recommended by my sister to buy from here cause her company does the financing for CH Auto. This review is for my experience and my car only. I’m sure they have some satisfied customers somewhere.
I purchased an SC430 from them. Within the first 6 weeks I brought in the car over 7 times for issues. The issues ranged from engine light, tire pressure light, to bad sounds coming from tires and car completely shutting off power. They tried to fix it everytime i brought it in but nothing they ever did fully fixed any problem. They even at some point tried to blame me for the problems the car was having. You gotta be kidding me, i’ve had the car for less then a month and less then 300 miles and you say it is my fault? I finally got tired of their poor work on my car and brought the car to my friend at Santa Monica Lexus. Turns out CH AUTO sold me a car in horrible condition for a very elevated price. The dealership said i had atleast 5k in repairs and that a MORAL used car dealership would never of sold a car in this condition to anyone. He also added that the car was dangerous due to the tire condition (which CH AUTO admitted to selling me a car with bad tires but didn’t offer to replace). They said that I am likely to lose control in the rain as a result of the tire conditions.
This brings me to the conclusion that CH Auto can care less if the vehicle is safe for their customers. As long as it is out of their hands, it isn’t for them to worry about. After fixing the car to its safest possible conditions, I spent almost 22k and countless hours getting this stupid piece of crap to be somewhat reliable. BUYER BEWARE! It is a gamble when you buy with these guys. I’ve learned my lesson. I purchased the car for 16,500 and ended up spending another 5k to make it drivable. I grew up and operate several business’ in the area and will be telling everyone and their mom’s about the HIGH RISK INVOLVED WITH BUYING A CAR AT CH AUTO. This is no lie people. I have receipts to prove i bought my car at CH AUTO and 2 months later had major maintenance done at Santa Monica Lexus.

Bought a car at «decent» price (or so we thought).
We ended up having to fix the shocks, the alignment, and there’s still something rattling in the front tires that no mechanic can figure out (after paying for the car already «fixed»)!!! Every time we came back to their place to have their mechanic inspect the car, he was «out» and unavailable to help us.
First test drive: Alignment was off and I pointed it out, but «it’s just the road slanting». It was NOT just the road slanting. IF you do go here for a test drive and they say this, please drive on the OTHER side of the road and prove him wrong. Make the mechanic fix it, or go somewhere else.
SHADY. REALLY try to inspect it with several people’s opinions or TRY ELSEWHERE. NOT TRUSTWORTHY.
