I opened my initial office in Roselle in 1992. I have since moved locations twice, to better serve my patients. All have been in Roselle. I have been providing family dentistry to the Roselle area for over 20 years.

Probably my favorite person in Illinois outside of family/​teachers for having improved my quality of life. Dr Shay is the best.
He’s insanely good with injecting anesthetic so that you don’t notice the needle at all. He’s like a ninja with the needle. When I had 2 wisdom teeth pulled, I didn’t feel a thing and was fully healed within 2 weeks.
Very good prices and excellent work. My fillings from when I first went to him have held up great.
The staff are also very good, friendly and helpful when I go there for cleanings. I would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Shay is a great dentist! I drive over 20 miles and passed about 15 other dentists to see him. Dr. Shay is straight up and tells you exactly how and what dental procedure you need completed. I was recommended to Dr. Shay by a friend that knows that I am deathly afraid of the dentist; but every time I go to Dr. Shay’s I feel at home. Dr. Shay’s staff is also very knowledgable and helpful. I highly recommend this office! Five stars!

I thought this was going to be a horrible, painful experience being my first root canal. But I can’t thank Dr. Shay and his team enough for easing my mind from the minute I walked in the front door. They treated me like I was their only patient when clearly there were many others waiting. They literally turned my root canal frown upside side down and relived my pain. I will recommend this dentist to anyone! Thank you.

I brought my son to Dr. Richard Shay who along with Dr. Terry Sandroff did a dental implant on him. I was very happy with their work as was my son. He was really nervous about the procedure after having his wisdom teeth pulled years earlier. They worked well together and got it right the first time. I would highly recommend both of these doctors.
