I am a family law attorney who is here to help you through a trying and emotional time in your life. I have been in practice for over 23 years. I always try to settle a case, but I am an experienced litigator who knows how to fight for your rights in a divorce and custody action if needed. I will help you get the financial aid for child and spousal support if appropriate. I believe child custody, visitation and support are the most important issues in a divorce proceeding; however, we divide assets and debts as needed too.

History

Established in 1991.

Started my practice in Rosamond, California, and I’ve been here 24 years. I have practiced throughout the state, but my focus is in all of Kern County and the Antelope Valley. I have done criminal defense work for 24 years and family law cases for 15 years. I also do some estate planning — Wills and Trusts. We are a small office that takes pride in providing excellent attention to the needs of each client.

Business Owner

Although I was born in Sacramento, I was raised in Charleston, South Carolina. I graduated from the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) with a degree in Political Science and a minor in Criminal Justice. I returned to California, and attended law school at McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento. I settled in Rosamond, CA, and have practiced primarily in Kern County and Los Angeles County. I really enjoy the practice of law and love to help my clients. I have done criminal defense work since the start of my practice, so I am very comfortable with the courtroom and trials. The practice of Family Law has been my main focus for over 15 years, but I still enjoy defense work. Although Family Law is a very emotional experience, I make every effort to enlighten you about the process and what to expect if and when we go to court.

I have been with my spouse for 26 years, and have an adult son who lights up my life. I enjoy almost every sport and motorcycle riding.
