The only reason why I am giving them 2 stars is because the place is very clean and the staff is super friendly and accomodating but unfortunately, the IPL Laser hair removal does not work well. Prior to coming here I had 6 sessions of laser hair removal (brazilian) done at Satori Laser which was working well but because it was a groupon deal, I stopped going. Then I found a groupon deal at Deisre Perfection Med Spa and had 6 more sessions done and I do not see a difference. It’s after the fact that I read for best hair removal go with Alexandrite and not IPL.

There’s nothing wrong with the service however after some trial and error and research I have come to the conclusion that the «IPL» technology here is not a permanent solution (as opposed to real laser hair removal with an «Alexandrite» laser).
I used IPL for underarms via a groupon deal (was only $ 99) for several sessions and laser hair removal for the rest of my body. The IPL only delayed hair growth for a while whereas the laser got rid of hair permanently. Make sure you ask any laser place what type of machine they use as there are other technologies out there that don’t work as well (the research on this is pretty clear just google laser types). However your options might be limited for what types of laser can by used on you depending on your hair/​skin color. The Alexandrite works best for light skin and dark hair and is dangerous to use if you have dark skin. There is another machine for people with darker skin — sorry I forget what it is called (but sadly it doesn’t work as well).

I have been going to Desire almost monthly since the spring. I had on and off good results with the only area I have had worked on.
Suddenly it’s working better because I have a different technician working with me and she raised the levels.
The place is very clean and the staff is pretty friendly. I do have a tough time with the one receptionist. It may just be a personality conflict but because of it I won’t answer the confirmation calls. This receptionist logged me in the book under the wrong name and treatment twice and then didn’t believe it was my appointment. I had to pull out the card (that is optional) to show it was my appointment (my phone number wasn’t enough) and then she blamed someone else for making the mistake. Make sure to get one of the optional appointment cards just in case.
They also do not answer phones when on break but it’s a guess knowing when that is. I called to let them know I would be late and no one was answering the phone.
Outside of the one receptionist I have had a great experience here.

I want to start off by saying At first they made a great impression. I received a groupon as a gift to go here for laser hair removal. I went to 4 of the 6 sessions and saw some results so I was happy. Then suddenly they stopped answering the phones. I left messages and made sure I was calling when they were open and I got no response. I’m not a mean or rude person at all, there would be no reason for them to block my calls other than hey are cheap crooks. There are a million other places that do just as good of a job. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Went here with a Groupon. The place was absolutely amazing! I was very nervous, but the staff was sooooo friendly and helpful my experience was great! Extremely satisfied with the services I had done! I will definitely be going back to them and will be recommending all my friends to them! Great place & staff! Jeanie is amazing! Love her!

I love this place. I have had laser Hair removal on two areas one large and one small. They have very competitive pricing and offer good deals through out the year. The staff is freindly and courteous. My appoinements are always on time. The results are amazing. Clean professional environment that eased all my worries.

I love this place! I started coming here for laser hair removal for my underarms through a Groupon deal. I’ve learned the hard way that a lot of places that offer deals for laser hair removal are often sketchy and not necessarily somewhere you’d want to be undressed in… not here!!! It’s really new and clean, located conveniently right on Portion, and the staff is so FRIENDLY! I have 1 session left, and honestly never need to worry about shaving – totally hairless! I’m considering doing brazilian with them as well, which is a pretty strong testament to how I feel about them, I’d trust them lasering my nether regions.
Bottom line – clean, friendly, effective. This is the place to go for laser hair removal in Suffolk.

Staff is extremely friendly & helpful. Lazer hair removal package was affordable and it works! I saw results after my first session so I booked another package for a different area. Staff was so amazing they told me about the groupon deal instead of charging full price. It’s rare that I find such great costumer service these days so when I do I blab about it. :)
