We manufacture gourmet quality chocolate novelties for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukah, Valentine’s Day, St. Patricks Day, Purim, Easter, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. We make chocolates for all of life’s occasions. We print ribbons on premises and can personalize any party favor order. We have done favors for birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, communions, confirmations, christenings, retirements, sweet sixteens, bridal and baby showers, engagements, graduations and more.

We have delicious boxed chocolates and platters in all sizes as well as a large selection of sugar free chocolates.

In addition we carry cake and candy making supplies such as molds, sticks, Merckens melting wafers, decorations, boxes, all sizes of cellophane bags, candy centers, icings, food colors, luster dust and more. We have fountain chocolate and sugar free melting wafers.

History

Established in 1979.

Chocolate By Design, Inc. has been manufacturing quality chocolate novelties since 1979. It started as a wholesale manufacturer selling to a variety of businesses including caterers, restaurants, hotels, hospitals, department stores, florists, basket companies, party planners and gourmet food and confectionery stores.

In 1992 the factory was relocated to its present location on Long Island, New York. As a part of the move we opened a retail shop to serve the local neighborhood. Our customers began asking for chocolate party favors and the rest is history. We get calls from around the country from people who received our favors from parties they attended, wanting to order for their own parties. The store has expanded to carry items for all holidays and occasions as well as cake and candy making supplies. Please note our Summer Hours — only open Monday — Thursday during summer.
