The Original Old World Pizza of Elmwood Park

Alright I could not find this on Unilocal at first (to check in via phone) because of it saying Elmwood Park in the title when it is actually the Romeoville location.
Well we used to be somewhat regulars to this place because their stuffed pizza is AMAZING! Low carb diet came and they sadly went. So yeah darn you carbs we missed this place so here we are. I don’t know why I fell WAY behind on my Unilocal reviews? I should have done this forever ago!!!
Alright so like I said AMAZING stuffed pizza. There is just something about the crust, sauce and the right toppings. I have tried their meatball sandwich too and it was pretty darn good too. I need to try more items from here.
Finally I took a drive to this place so I could see where they were and what it looked like since the menu says dine in and take out. I also wanted an excuse to test out OnStar on my new car. LOL! I was SO NOT ready to walk in and see the layout looking like an old time diner. I kind of liked it!!! Something different that you don’t see out here anymore. Super nice staff every time I call in a order. Pretty good on delivery times too. Prices I suppose are about right for what you get.
It looks like they do lunch specials too like 2 jumbo slices and a pop for $ 5.00. Not bad!!!
They just opened one not that long ago in Plainfield that I will need to check out sometime when I visit the parents.
