Pizza N Stuff

We had pizza and a sampler platter. The service was reasonably quick. The décor and the food was underwhelming.

We are visiting from out of town and my Step Mom recommended this for an easy dinner — Great call!
I was really surprised at how good the pizza and wings were. In traditional great pizza tradition — the ambiance is simplistic — and to tell you the truth — I can’t even remember if there was a place to sit down and eat. We were getting ours to go — so didn’t pay much attention. But the décor was underwhelming.
However, the pizza was excellent, the crust was done perfectly and had a nice crispy (not too crisp — but just right) edge. The sauce was great — had a lot of flavor and tasted home made. The only thing I was hoping for — was fresh garlic as a topping. I’m amazed at how many pizza places don’t offer this — oh well. They certainly made up for it with great flavors and ingredients.
We also got 3 pounds of wings with an off menu topping called ‘Linda Wings’. Apparently, a local customer (Linda Davis) came up with some mixture of the sauces and it’s been termed Linda wings. Not sure I can adequately explain the flavor — so I’ll just say they are REALLY good. They are not on the menu — so just ask for them and you’ll be glad you did. The wings were large, properly cooked, and had a lot of sauce. Nothing worse than wings without enough sauce.
I’d highly recommend giving this small roadside pizza a try.
