History
Established in 1996.
La Scala Ristorante Italiano opened for business in March of 1996, under the ownership of Piero Barba, a native of the Isle of Capri off the coast of Naples, Italy. Over the years, La Scala adapted to the changing needs of an increasingly cosmopolitan customer base, by offering the Freshest Products, Largest Wine List in NW GA & Table-side Service in a Fine dining Environment!
In 2010, La Scala was ready for a change & was purchased by Piero’s son & Executive Chef, Anthony Barba. With an injection of youthful enthusiasm, Anthony was ready to take La Scala to the next level. Over time, our menu & daily special offerings had progressed to embrace, not only traditional Italian cuisine… but Mediterranean Cuisine as well. At that time… La Scala Ristorante Italiano was renamed La Scala Mediterranean Bistro.
The next step in La Scala’s growth was to focus on Special Events & Catering. And La Scala Catered Events & Private Dining was born! We are your Special Events Specialist!!!
