I stopped here for gas. While a very tall handsome young man was pumping my gas (yes!!) I followed the smell of breakfast…
Oh my. In the back was a sweet woman dishing up HOMEMADE chicken fried tenderloin and HOMEMADE biscuits w gravy (yes!!).
Americans unite! This is the kind of Real food that is finally coming back in style. I personally am fed up with so-​called «restaurants» that merely heat up food service Slop (which was delivered on a truck). Let’s support genuine restaurants such as this one:)

Not much of a place to look at as far as being fancy but the food is always good here. Definitely a dive… lots of truckers in here and locals. Good olé country cooking. Today I had catfish… hush puppies onion rings and baked beans. The hubby had chicken livers… fries and corn salad. All of it was as good as ever. Last time we came I recall having some good chicken fingers and Mac n cheese. Really people don’t expect it to be a fancy place… it’s inside a gas station… but you’ll be very pleasantly surprised if you stop in.
