Lake side camps on Great Pond in the Belgrade Lakes region. Reasonable rates include three meals a day served in our main dining room. There are boats, kayaks and canoes available for rent as well as tennis court, sandy beach, basketball, horse shoes, and volleyball. We are ten minutes from the famous Belgrade Lakes Golf Club. Great Pond has excellent fishing for bass, brown trout, northern pike and perch. The cottages are right on the waters edge with comfortable livingrooms, Franklin fireplaces, small refrigerators, open porches, out side fire pits and a private dock. This is a traditional relaxing Maine vacation.

History

Established in 1910.

Bear Spring Camps was established in 1910 by George and Alice Mosher. It has been passed down through three generations and is now owned and managed by Ron and Peg (Mosher) Churchill.

Peg grew up on Great Pond at Bear Spring Camps and worked at the camps through high school and college. She and her husband Ron returned to manage it in 1984.
