A friend referred me to trans-​fixed. Dealing with Eddy was so easy and nice. He really made fixing my truck an easy and stress free experience. I am so grateful for the work that was done. Our local mechanic recommended Eddy and Trans-​Fixed for an unknown problem with my transmission. Eddy is fantastic — he spent time trying to diagnose the problem, and was very conscious of fixing the problem. He was able to rule out the worst case scenario (new trans) and saved me a ton of money. He explained next steps to me in detail where I have piece of mind going forward, and a plan to address if we see the issue recur or worsen. Recently had an issue with my 2006 Jeep Commander frequently going into limp mode. Asked around for a recommendation and the called Eddie from Trans-​Fixed. I was able to technically explain the issue and Eddie was asking very logical questions and we both agreed that it sounded like an electrical problem. Took the vehicle in the next day and the code indicated a failure in one of the sensors. Eddie did some further research and felt comfortable that this was the root cause. Ordered that part and picked up the car the next day and the problem has not recurred in 7 days. Issue solved. This is the type of problem that is often mis-​diagnosed resulting in series of costly repairs. Great diagnosis, problem solved! Completely happy with every aspect of this transaction!
