This was my first experience with Alladin Doors. The torsion spring broke on my overhead garage door. Late last evening. Their first plus is that they were available to take my call much later than other vendors in my area. The person who scheduled my appointment was very friendly and helpful. Al, the technician arrived right on time and was also very personable. My springs seem to last up to the low end of the regular life span. Al showed me that the wheels on the door track were worn, causing additional drag every time the door opened and closed which explained the shorter life span of previous springs. He recommended replacing the wheels in addition to a heavy duty spring which will have a longer life. The repairs were completed in a timely manner. That old garage door quietly glides up and down now. After average customer service with other vendors in the past, I will definitely make Alladin my vendor of choice going forward.

I highly recommend Aladdin Doors if you’re looking for garage door service. My service technician, Al went above and beyond to make sure everything was working properly. There are so many garage door companies out there and you never know what you’re going to get. He was informative and clearly explained the issues we were experiencing. Had a little work done on the house. Find that the garage door has a busted spring. Ugh. I start thinking of a trip to Home Depot or some such and then recall several people telling me that messing with those springs, under tension is a really bad idea.
Great, it’s the middle of the afternoon, trying to get a new garage door opener installed before it gets dark. what to do? what to do?
I hit Unilocal,Angie’s List and Groupon to see if I could find someone to come out quickly.
Several calls to different companies rolled directly to voicemail. And, in fact, have not had a phone call returned weeks later.
However, Aladdin picked up, listened to the problem, checked their schedule, had a team close by just wrapping up a job and scheduled them to stop by.
Moses and Carlos came out and were very diligent about getting us up and running again.
They checked and rechecked, measured, made a couple calls to make sure they had the right spring etc.
As they ran into questionable areas that might necessitate additional parts or more time, they checked in, set expectations and provided a bit of education.
We’ll use them again when the new garage door opener and awesome new springs destroy our crappy old door.
Overall a really good experience with Aladdin.

Tom arrived as scheduled and I found him to be very helpful with multiple tips on how to do maintenance on my garage door. He completed the maintenance as nothing was broken and the door was much quieter. I found the company to be very professional to deal with from start to finish. I used a coupon from moneymaker which also listed the company as A+ with BBB. I definitely recommend them.

A great job was done today (September 9, 2015) by the Aladdin team of Moises Rodriguez and Alan Kireen to dismantle and beautifully replace our smashed garage door while salvaging this complex door opening electronics and protecting our two automobiles. This company serves Northern Chicago and its suburbs.

I had an appointment on a Saturday with another garage service company, who didn’t give me a time frame for when they would be out to my house and they weren’t returning my calls, so I canceled the appointment and looked online in search of another company. I didn’t think I’d find someone who would come out on a Saturday last-​minute. I came across Aladdin Doors, and I was happy I did. 1. They gave me a same-​day appointment, on a Saturday. 2. They gave me a 2-​hour window and were on time. 3. I was very impressed by the tech who came out (Tom). He was very knowledgeable, very professional, and he fixed the springs on my door quickly. 4. The price was a little better than the original company quoted me. I would recommend Aladdin Doors based on my experience.

They came out on a Saturday for no extra charge (other companies wanted to charge me $ 275 an hour). Very reasonable price, honest work, and very helpful. Guy was very nice and provided me with suggestions I can do to improve it since he knew I was a diyer. He showed up exactly at the start of the time frame I was given. He didn’t try to sell or force anything on me. Will go with again of its a job I cannot handle on my own.

We think that Aladdin Doors does an excellent job on garage doors. Years ago, they installed a great garage door opener that is so silent, it’s great. You can hardly hear it in the house.
We called Aladdin Doors Monday night due to our spring that broke. They were out the very next morning to install our new springs. Tom did an excellent job replacing them. He was great and very nice. We would highly recommend this business. Thanks

In the middle of the night the garage spring snapped. I called the toll free number and they responded in a couple of hours. An appointment was made for the following morning and the service tech was spot on the time. He indicated that the previous repair from another company used a 20″ spring and for the size of our door and weight it should have been a 40′ spring. I double checked his recommendation on DIY and he was correct. The original quote they gave over the phone was accurate. We had the door repaired in less than 10 hours from the time I called. Kudo’s to them. Also they recommended that we replace the rollers and he again was correct, they were worn and contributed to stress on the door. Lesson learned — replace rollers — this lessens the stress on the garage opener and also the springs. Job well done! Thanks guys — your lables are now on top of the other door company.

I called Action Doors to come do my garage door after buying my home. They were prompt, did a good job, and made me feel good about my purchase.
A few weeks later, my garage door wouldn’t close properly and they came over right away and helped me fix my problem. The sun was shining on the sensor which was messing the sensor up, they showed me what to do if this happened again and were on their way.
Great service, I would recommend them to any of my friends.

The actual technician that came out was nice and fixed the problem. But their customer service was severely lacking otherwise. The first person I talked to didn’t give me all the service information like the cost for them to come out. The person I talked to after was rude and couldn’t have been more condescending.
