This is the best automotive place I’ve ever been too! Highly recommend it and everyone there is so nice and helpful

I’ve been taking my car and my wife’s car to Walton’s for the last several years. Jimmy is always fair with pricing and takes great care of our cars. They even have gone so far as to give me a complimentary ride to and from my office!
If you’re looking for an honest mechanic that you can trust, Walton’s is the place!

Got a 1000 + dollar quote to replace the starter. Called two other places and was quoted 240 and 190. Buyer beware…

Brought my car here for an oil leak at the recommendation of a friend and was pleasantly surprised. The repairs were done quickly and were a lot less than I was thinking that they would be. All in all a very good experience.

We have been taking our car here for years. They are awesome and caring to us. I highly recommend it to anyone!

I love love love this place! It’s the only place I take my car. They always take great care of me. They only do what needs to be done on my car, they don’t push extra services. After I get my car back it runs so well. There work never falters. They are quick and efficient. It’s a great place!

Walton’s is always a great experience for me. Jimmy is always so nice and calls me to let me know what they have found and asking if they have the green light to go forward and start work on it. Jimmy always tries to find the best way to fix my car while keeping the price as low as possible.
I love family owned businesses and this is one that I will be behind for a long time!

Either crooks, incompetent, or both.. I knew of their reputation but I wasn’t home and AAA recommended we tow our car there. We were charged for items AAA’s test said were not needed… insult… AAA tested and said we just need a battery ($ 99 from AAA) but they didn’t have one… Walton’s replaced the battery AND alternator and charged $ 800. but the real injury followed…
About 3 days later the car lost its brakes. A hose had somehow gotten disconnected. Let’s assume it wasn’t Walton’s fault even though it is an odd coincidence.
Then a few days later the car wouldn’t start. AAA found that Walton’s had done such a shoddy job they hadn’t even cleaned corrosion off the battery cables. AAA cleaned them and the problem was solved…
Shame on them. RIP OFF IS A COMPLIMENT.

I used to go there because they were close to my home. The higher than average rate was worth it to me for the convenience of being so close and the owner was so very friendly. For simple things like oil changes they are fine. Anything more complicated and it gets a little sketchy. I see some reviews that they try to rip-​off customers. While that may be the case, I just think that they are poor mechanics that don’t have a clue how to fix or diagnose many problems.

Jimmy is the best! He is always pleasant and honest! I love Waltons!

Been dealing with Walton’s at this location since they used to sell Shell Gas here. Over 20 years now. As in any business the employees turn over, but one great mechanic, Franco, is still there. And the others hired since seem to be competent when dealing with the diverse cars people drive up on this Hill.
And the ownership has not changed except for the fact that Craig Walton, son, has taken over the day to day operations. And he is a very fair man. He also has a license to sell «used vehicles» and those he’s purchased at auction (including a few I’ve purchased myself) Have been a Godsend to many young first time buyers and others on the Hill.
The current manager, Jimmy (an Irish immigrant), is a great guy who will go out of his way to accommodate your needs and won’t rip you off. As in any other business they need to make profit and mechanic hourly costs are what they are, but you won’t be overcharged.
They are also well connected and more than willing to steer you in the right direction if your automotive issue is one that can’t remedy at their shop.

Great service and great mechanics. Always able to help you out. They are super nice unlike many other auto shops. I highly recommend!

This place is a horrible rip-​off. I brought in my car because it could not start and they said my starter needed to be replaced. The quote was for $ 900. Knowing that my battery was having trouble recently (which I told them), I suspected it was just a bad battery. So I took my car to another mechanic who said it was just a bad battery. This other mechanic replaced my battery for $ 100 and everything worked fine.
I would avoid this shop at all costs. They probably think they can rip off people because they are in PV.
