Sean has been in the pest management industry for over 21 years, starting his first company at the age of 19. Sean is past Chairman of the Pest Control Operators of California.

Sean was one of the first operators to implement an IPM (green pesticide use) program in the state of California. In 2003 Sean was honored with the title Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Small Business Administration or SBA for his commitment to excellence in customer service. Sean is dedicated to pest management because he grew up in the industry.

I agree with the person who said that Joe has the gift of gab but he surely doesn’t fix the rodent problem. He’d set traps and say he’d be back in a week. Then, he doesn’t show up. I had to dump the traps with mice, myself. Again, I called him out and he set traps and said he’d be back in a week. That was months ago. Another pest control company came out and found 4 traps with dead mice in them. Use any other provider before you call McCauley Brothers for a mouse problem. They don’t fix the problem and they don’t show up when they say they will.

I decided to contact McCauley Brothers to help me with a rodent problem after reading their reviews here on Unilocal.The receptionist was mildly pleasant and set us up with an appointment with Joe. I should have known to expect problems when Joe was late to our initial appointment. While Joe had the gift of gab and could get you to feel comfortable with him inside of your home, that was about as far as his skill set went. I fell for his sales pitch and signed up for all of the servces he recommended. Joe inspected our home for entry points and set a few traps. A week later, Joe returned to check the traps as well as to do the inclusion work to close up any holes where the rodents were entering our home. While it is true that McCauley Brothers did catch and dispose of a few rodents, our rodent issue is still ongoing. To make it very clear, the inclusion work that was performed was incomplete. When calling in the attempts to have someone visit our home to locate and close up the rodent entry point, we have been told that our service plan visits have been exhausted and that we need to start another round of service. I have paid over $ 500 to McCauley Brothers and the issue is still unresolved. THERE IS NO WAY THAT I WILL EVER GIVE THIS COMPANY ANOTHER CENT! To highlight a few more deficiencies, Joe would routinely miss scheduled appointments and make up excuses as to why he did not come as planned. After the second time doing this, we called to complain to his office. They did not seem to care that our visit was blown off. Needless to say, I am not happy with the level of service that I recieved from McCauley Brothers. Please do yourself a favor and contact a different pest company.

Nothing but praise for McCauley Brothers! We had a burgeoning yellow jacket nest in the vent over our back slider to our porch, and company coming from out of town the next day to hang out by the pool. Yellow jackets had become aggressive and had to go. A 9:00 a.m. call to McCauley brothers and service arrived about 11:00 to solve the problem. It’s almost a week later now and no wasps in sight. We even got a nice follow up call to assure we had no further problems. Highly recommended!

McCauley Brothers were great! From the initial phone call with the reception setting up an inspection to the actual treatment all went very smooth. I had termites swarming inside my condo, building tubes within my water heater closet and even breaking through an electrical socket in my bedroom. I highly recommend McCauley Brothers for your next pest job. GREAT WORK!

I just started a restaurant back in November and decided to go with McCauley brothers for my pest control needs. When I took the building over it had an ant and wasp nest problem. These guys took care of everything. When the rain came in December the ants came back, and I made the call to have them take care of it. They had a tech over to my spot within an hour and he took care of it with a lot of attention to detail. I would definitely recommend these guys their rates are the best I have found and their service is top notch.

We have had a rat problem in our attic off and on for many years. 2 other major exterminator companies did nothing but set some traps for a few weeks and take my money. McCauley Brothers actually solves the problem so they rats can not come back! Their rat expert Joe crawled around in the attic (the other companies would just stick their heads up there), did a complete investigation of the attic, drew up a floor plan, and showed me exactly how he was going to prevent the rats from getting in. He was super friendly, professional, and thorough. I could tell I had finally hired the right company!!! Thanks Joe!

I’ve just sold my home in Bodega Bay, and had to make the call to close my account w/​McCauley after nearly 15 years. Yep, they are that good that you would a) use them for 15 years and b) feel like you were breaking up with them when you sold the house.
Service was always top rate. Our rep, Brian, knew the house, always took time to answer questions and explain services, and was careful and courteous beyond modern expectations.
I highly recommend them and hope the new owners have the good sense to hire them, too.

To start, the receptionist was exceptional. Her name is Karen and she could not have been more pleasant and helpful in my situation.
McCauley brothers sent out 2 workers within a few hours, Arvin and Ryan. Both were very competent, friendly and professional. They were able to locate the areas where a rat was getting into my home. Yuck!
Anyway, they recommended some steps to take to rid my home of the rodent (s) in question and I am confident we will be successful. I am also going to have them come regularly to make sure that «Templeton» or his buddies don’t ever come back!
I can highly, and with all confidence, recommend their company to anyone who appreciates great customer service, quick response and competent action.
