Dr. Chad Betts has surrounded himself with an experienced team of eye care professionals to better serve the needs of their patients.

Our leading and innovating practice has performed more than 30,000 vision correction procedures. In addition to laser vision correction and cataract surgery, McDonald Eye Associates offers a full-​service optical department, annual eye examinations, and medical and surgical care for a variety of diseases and conditions of the eye, including glaucoma, drye eye, corneal disease, diabetic retinopathy, and macular degeneration.

Dr. Chad B.

Business Owner

Chad Betts, M.D., R.Ph., is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City. Dr. Betts completed his post-​graduate training at the University of Missouri-​Kansas City Department of Ophthalmology. He specializes in anterior segment surgery, including cataract and refractive surgery as well as macular degeneration and diabetes related eye disease. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Betts is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Northwest Campus.

Dr. Betts is active in his church and medical societies. In his spare time, he enjoys running, golf, fishing, home improvement projects and spending time with his family. He and his wife, Kimberly, have three children.
