History
Established in 2000.
Dilly Dally’s Toy Store was started in 2000 by Susan and David Foster. Susan decided to open a fun kids store after visiting her brother in Louisiana and playing in his fun new shop. The «Dilly Dally’s» name came from his two boys who were always being told to quit «dilly dallying». Business runs in the family. Susan comes from a long line of small business owners. Her grandfather owned a grocery store that was passed down to her father and uncle. It is over 100 years old and still in business and thriving today. Growing up in business she spent alot of her childhood in the stores learning at the school of «hard knocks» Susan’s dad was her business «idol» he openned a chain of convenience stores, rental properties, strip malls, health clubs etc. The lessons learned on the job were priceless. Now it has come back full circle. Susan graduated with a degree in nursing and after working as a registered nurse is now back to where she started… running a business and loving it..
