This is a ‘hard to find’ spot. The building is prominent, but it’s not exactly clear the bar is here. In the same building as Core Architect,(same name is a coincidence, they are not related) drive to the top lot behind the building. Enter the door with the dachshund sign, walk to the end of the hallway and the bar entrance is straight ahead on the street side of the building. This is a bar only. They had popcorn when we visited, but I didn’t see any other food offerings. But really, that’s OK because the beer is the star here. Most of the beers, all on tap, are from Core brewing. The bar runs along the entire left side of the room, there are a few tables on the right and picnic tables outside on the patio. The patio is enclosed by an awning, but it was far too cold the day we went to sit outside. The front of the bar is lined with metal, has hooks for pocketbooks and a foot rail. There are two TV’s inside and two outside. The restrooms are off the hallway to the left. Our bartender asked if we had been there before and was super helpful explaining all the beer options. She was attentive, and friendly and really ‘made’ the visit. We ordered a small beer flight of five samples but they are also available in seven or twelve and each sample is $ 1.50. You can’t beat that with a stick! The Hazelnut beer was great: full body, nice finish. The IPA, their lightest beer, was very smooth with a clean finish. Those were my favorites. They also have some very strong, tart beers and the one that was not from Core brewing has a distinct citrus smell and taste and was also very nice. We considered buying one of the T-shirts for sale with the Core logo(the dachshund) but as we are traveling light, a magnet would have fit our bags better. If you like to buy local, and like(or love) beer, this has to be on your list of place to try!

Nice if you don’t mind NYC prices: $ 8 – 10 per draft. Small bar area. Patio seating available, but night I was there it was raining. Even though the have cover for patio still got wet when wind hit tarp. Would go back if prices were better, but too many other good options.

Great little brew pub from a local brewery. I don’t think you can find a cheaper happy hour with really good beers, $ 2 drafts from 4 – 7. The vibe was very low key, and seemed like a great place to chill out and spend an afternoon with friends. I will definitely be back.

Feels like a modern-urban speak-easy because of its size although the they have a great bar. clean industrial look completely personalized with chalk wall menus. Core brews are fantastic. I love some IPA and you can’t beat The Core. They need better signage, I’m surprised they are as dead as they are.

Fun, small, trendy, brewery! Beautiful view and large outdoor area for seating. Great house brews, can’t wait to go back and try more. Not much food offered besides hot dogs, but they allow you to bring in your own food like pizza and stuff to enjoy while you have your beer.

Great location and beautiful building. Plenty of parking, though to get into the building is a bit tricky. Plenty of screens to watch the game or tables to play some cards. We brought our own fast food in and had a wonderful time. One star taken away for limited beer selection and not as mellow atmosphere as the Springdale location. Perhaps I just love the Springdale location so much that anything else is inferior? Regardless, definitely worth stopping in for a pint or two with friends.

Core Brewery is a Northwest Arkansas local craft brewery in Springdale, AR. Being fans of Core we wanted to check out their new tasting room in Rogers. The location is very accessible to HWY49(used to be called 540). I’m writing directions because it’s a little tricky finding the first time. It’s adjacent to New Hope, across the street from Pinnacle(Gas) Station — in the trendy wood architectural type building. There is a long bar that seats about 12 and picnic benches on a covered patio. I’m glad we are getting more accessible local breweries in our area. My only criticism is I don’t feel that local beer enthusiasm from the staff that I typically feel(maybe because there is no actual brewery on premises???) But I am going to stay optimistic they will get there and will definitely keep returning.
