We pride ourselves in offering you and your furry friends quality personalized veterinary care that larger hospitals just can’t do. Dont let our size fool you, we are a full service facility with state of the art equipment such as an in house blood analyzer, ultrasound, echocardiogram, and digital radiographs with same day results by board certified radiologists.

We can board your pets when you have to travel and we have two certified pet stylists to make your pets look their best. Our surgery suite has state of the art equipment and we are staffed with three certified veterinary technicians so your pets receive our full attention when they are with us.

We are an AAHA certified hospital. Fewer than 18% of hospitals nationwide can make this claim. We are reviewed regularly by outside experts and must pass rigorous standards to ensure we comply with the best in veterinary care standards.

History

Established in 1996.

Dr. Reveley opened River Square Animal Hospital in 1996. He had worked in larger veterinary clinics and become frustrated with the lack of personalized attention offered by these facilities. His goal is to stay small and focus on quality personalized veterinary care for your pets.

Meet the Business Owner

John R.

Business Owner

John W. Reveley, DVM, Ph.D.

Dr. Reveley grew up in northern New Jersey. He attended Rutgers University where he obtained a Bachelors of Science Degree in Animal Science in 1978. Subsequently, Dr. Reveley earned a Masters of Science and Ph.D. in Physiology from The Ohio State University’s Department of Medicine. Before enrolling in Veterinary School, he also was a research scientist in the environmental toxicology department at Battelle Memorial Institute in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. Reveley earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State University in 1989. He and his wife, Mary, have two daughters and enjoy spoiling their two cats, two dogs and horse.
