Such a cute store! I could spend days in here. They have so many cute trinkets and do-​dads. Now that I work in the wedding industry I know how important the «paper products» of a wedding are, and I recommend my bride’s use paper trails all the time. The staff is so friendly and everyone is so helpful!

I LOVE this store. Never do I leave without spending a small fortune!

I wanted to send some thank you notes to friends who had been totally accommodating during a short visit to my hometown of Atlanta during the Thanksgiving holidays. And I wanted to send a thank you note to my boyfriend’s mother who dog and cat sat for his pets while we were out of town AND fixed an amazing holiday meal for us and was just fabulous. I also wanted to grab a card to send a friend who had been having some tough times lately.
I’m possibly one of 20 people left on earth who love love love sending (and receiving) mail. Like mail with a stamp. I love cards and stationery and cute paper and pens and clever cards and all of that. LOVE IT! I’m a sassy girl and love some humor and wit on any of the afore mentioned products. And really, any sort of cuteness is appreciated by me.
This shop has a lot of paper products which might be great for people who need to send out some kind of printed something or another. Like announcements or invites and all of that. I overheard a couple of people getting wedding consultations and the woman meeting with them sounded like the perfect sort of person you’d want to help you with that.
I think that I was hoping to find something a little more edgy than they offered and so I didn’t have the best selections from which to choose. That was a little disappointing. I think I’m kind of a weirdo though when it comes to paper goods because I do love them so much– I’m something of a self proclaimed aficionado when it comes to indie arty clever witty unique paper and cards. I’ll make a trip across town for a good selection of that sort of thing.
Paper Trails has a ton of paper and for certain, basic needs I’ll probably go back. I think that when it comes to my non-​traditional stationery needs. Boxes of Christmas cards or holiday cards, maybe. But for other stuff– nah.
They had a rack of cards that were, «Snarky,» and I didn’t really find them to be such. They were what I’d call humorous? It’s a nice store and the people are great. The prices are what you usually find, too. They have a huge selection of paper. It just didn’t meet my snobbish needs.

In June 2009, I discovered Paper Trails and it saved my life. Ok, perhaps a bit dramatic. But at the time, it felt like I was going insane, and after my experience with PT, I was brought back from the brink.
One of the last things on the wedding to-​do list was the programs. The F&!@ING programs… I’d been putting it off for weeks. You see, I’m just not art-​y or design-​y at all. I could picture vaguely what I wanted them to be like, but I just couldn’t find anything I liked on websites, etc. Then, I found PT and everything got easier. I should have gone there straight away and not stressed myself out!
For custom work, they make an appointment and actually sit down with you to discuss what you want. They show you a ton of examples of real projects they’ve done in case you need inspiration. They help you pick out the paper type, size, etc. and tell you exactly how much it will cost. No surprises! They were so so great, I can’t even tell you. I was at my wits end planning a wedding out of state and their calm, experienced help was just what I needed. The whole process was totally painless. They even accidentally overcharged me and I didn’t even notice in the wedding craziness, but they called and told me they were refunding me. Honest!
These ladies were SO great. A small oasis of sanity and aid in the vast crazy desert that is wedding planning. Head here for all of your custom and non-​custom paper needs.

I thought their selection in save the dates/​invites were great. They also have great in-​house printing that we used to print addresses from my invites instead of using the printing company. I also ordered their custom stationary for my wedding thank you’s & loved them… I am sad to be out of them already. The staff was great and very helpful with ideas and suggestions. Everything was terrific & I still see our Save the Date magnet on our friends/​family refridgerators!!!

Text messages and emails have their place in modern life, but that doesn’t mean that we can abandon formal communications altogether. Ripping a page out of spiral bound notebook, or using loose leaf paper is fine if you’re 5 years old and writing a letter to Santa. For the grown up stuff like announcements, thank you notes, and yes even love letters you should, no must, use the right stuff.
This is where having proper stationary for the occasion is a must. Quality stationary makes writing a true pleasure and creates a distinct impression on those lucky enough to receive your letters. If you have only bought mass-​produced stationery, this point may seem dubious. But quality stationery is truly an artistic luxury.
Enter Paper Trails. This small beautiful shop in the Old Detroit Road Shopping Center in Rocky River has wonderful products to suite all of your needs. The owner does a fantastic job of keeping her inventory fresh with the newest and best stationary available.
Why go through all the trouble and admittedly extra cost of using stationary? Well, it just shows a bit more class and respect to your recipient, and that’s not really a bad thing.

Very charming stationery store. Their custom printing and invitations are exquisite and you can tell it’s their specialty. They have a great selection of invitations, note cards, and really, really cool colored papers and envelopes. This is my new favorite store!
