I ordered food for a 50th wedding anniversary party. The meatballs were unbelievable! The crab dip is always a hit, and the restaurant loaded me up on different breads when I ordered the bruschetta. My order was ready for pickup exactly on time, and the food was hot and fresh. My family eats here regularly, and I have never ordered anything that I didn’t love. Service is great, and the people are friendly.

Great atmosphere and food is awesome. They have a great beer selection and the cocktails are amazing. The«Za» Mule is my favorite. The pizza is made fresh and leaves you satisfied! But don’t shy away from the rest of the menu. The Sour cherry sea bass is to die for. I would recommend this place without hesitation. Lunch is usually pretty open but for dinner get a reservation or you may be waiting for a while, especially on a weekend.

Amazing pizza. Certainly the best I’ve had since leaving Italy. Service was fantastic. Desert looked ridiculously good, but I didn’t have room. Eat here. Now.

My husband and I love this place. We don’t go super often because it is very busy and more upscale but when we do go it is special. The service has been good and the ambiance is very nice. It can be a bit loud. Probably the best crab dip I have ever had.

Best upscale restaurant in rockwall owners are always in the building and very helpful staff with a great all around menu! The best part is they use a wood burning oven so it adds a unique flavor to all dishes and it’s just insane! Give this one a try!

Went on a Sunday night for dinner at the suggestion of our friends. I cannot say enough good things. We got mussels, bruschetta, and the 50⁄50 meatballs as appetizers and each was more delicious than the last. We had the San Jacinto pizza for our entrée and it was absolutely perfect– some of the best crust I’ve ever eaten. We got dessert to-go since we were so full and the tiramisu was divine. Our waitress was exceptionally attentive and our service was top notch, plus the space was beautiful. Such a great experience. We will definitely be back!

Although they do not offer reservations, call ahead seating and the very young hostesses do not have any handle in the timing of turnover, however the 45 minute wait ended up being worth the wait. We were originally told the wait would be 30 minutes and since we were on our first date in months(we have a newborn), we decided to wait. I checked our status at 35 minutes and were told there were 3 – 4 couples in front of us, so possibly another 30 minutes. If they had told us an hour wait to begin with we would have left, so they kind of trap you there and we were not the only ones with this issue. However, Kate provided great service, the Pinot Noir was excellent and the peach sangria was awesome. We ordered the bruschetta plate and the Tuscan board to start, both excellent. We had the Three Pig Pizza for an entrée and we agree we probably couldn’t go wrong with any of the pizza options.

Love this place – but wait staff should never approach the table with the statement: «I gotta warn you, you’re my 6th table»…

Amazing!!! Zanata’s catered my wedding yesterday, and the food was phenomenal. The guests are every last bite and repeatedly asked«Where did you get this food?!» The team arrived right on time and set up was perfect. Thank you so much for serving a delicious, memorable meal on my special day!

Unbelievably great food and drinks. Everything is freshly made and exquisite. Definitely order the ribeye, coconut cream pie, and any salad. Wait staff was energetic, quick with recommendations, and happy to bring wine tastings to decide what works best with our meal. We will happily come back to this gem of a restaurant!

Food is good. Ambiance is great, place is wholesome, waiters are super educated, attentive and quick. We’ll be back until we’ve at least tried everything on the menu twice! And then some!

I’m a mojito snob. Their berry mojito is a joke… Cesar salad dressing tasted like a vinaigrette. Not worth the money. Extremely loud. Waiter was nice.

We came here after our massage near by. We tried the Crab dip, which was AMAZING. We were told that they were only serving apps, salads & pizza’s for the day, but it didn’t cause us any grief whatsoever. Back to the food… Blue Crab Dip Appetizer — I would prefer more of the soft bread as opposed to the crispy bread, but the fact they offer both is a bonus. It was very delicious and savory and can do no wrong as an app. Pep pizza w/Chicken — It was delicious but, the dough was very soggy. I will ask for it extra crispy next time, but I’m not sure if that would make a difference. If you’re a fan of a thin crust, don’t be afraid to give it a go. I wanted to try the fig pizza, but my BF was not down… next time! Sangria and Mojitos were delish — and very refreshing. Not a bad place to go to when you’re out and about in DT Rockwall.

Omg this place is so amazing! Came here with coworkers on a work trip and our taste buds literally went to heaven! This place is super adorable and located right in downtown so there is plenty of charm to it. The wait was suppose to be 45 minutes, but they were pretty quick seating people so we really only waited about 15 – 20 minutes. The staff is super friendly and personable and the inside décor is pretty gorgeous and has a pretty rustic greek/italian feel to it. Drinks — We all got a round of peach sangrias and wow they tasted so good! Strong enough to get you a loose, but also had a delicious flavor. My second drink was the berry bomb mojito and it was equally delicious. Both drinks were around $ 6 – 9 so pretty reasonable. Appetizer — We shared our appetizers so we could get a couple and very greatful we did! The«Z» house salad was a very yummy salad. The mix between yummy candied pistachios and creamy goat cheese really made this salad stand out. We also had the crab-stuffed avocados and WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOMG too good. Direct quote from my coworker — «I just had a foodgasm». The crab and avocado mixed with the cream they provided just melts in your mouth with so much delicious flavor that afterwards you cry a little bit because you know it has to end ;( Food — We all had our own pizzas and they were all pretty yummy in their own unique way. I had the goat cheese and fig pizza and it was great. I took the leftovers home and In the morning I was in a rush to leave, but I still made time to microwave my leftover and eat it while leaving the hotel: D In general, this place is amazing and everyone should go if they are in the area. I’m definitely going back next time I go to Dallas!

Ok! I think I figured it out. Just order pizza. The pizza is good and the ingredients are quality and tasty. The wine list is still on the expensive side, the service is still a-ok. I also heard from friends that they have a great special on Tuesdays called Sauced on the Square… a bottle of wine, Caesar salad and a pizza for $ 29. I’m in!

The family tried this place after reading reviews on Unilocal and we weren’t disappointed! For an appetizer we got the Mighty Quinn pizza and substituted sausage for bacon. It was awesome! Crisp wood fire crust gave it added depth that can’t compare to regular pizza. Hubby and I both got swordfish as an entrée and it was seasoned perfectly. Beautiful presentation with purple potatoes and asparagus that added a burst of color to the dish. Our son got the chicken Alfredo and he said he would totally get it again. Portion was abundant and the chicken was soft and moist. We will be back for sure!

I have tried just about every food item on their menu(salads, pizzas, main dishes, specials) and have never tasted anything like it… all soo very flavorful and delicious! I like the fact that it is locally owned and you can often see the Owner(usually wearing a flat cap hat) helping out and greeting customers at their table side. The wait staff are always wonderful despite the noise. The drinks are a bit pricey, but are strong enough where 1 or 2 can get you buzzed. This place got 4 stars because: it is extremely loud and the wait is EXTREMELY long if you do not have reservations. You can expect a 45 minutes PLUS wait after 6pm on any day of the week.

Oh my word… This food is outstanding! I’m on a strict diet, but I had the Curt’s chicken and vegetable salad, and shared 50⁄50 meatballs with my wife, and it was awesome! We are over here from Flower Mound for a High School Drill Team competition, and we will likely make the drive over here in the near future to eat here again! Hooray Zanata in Rockwall!!!

We had a group of six drive from Dallas to Rockwall and I can’t wait for the next trip back. Zanatas is a great place We started with a few appetizers, crab dip, shrimp/mushroom, salad. We ordered three kind of pizzas and a rib eye. For dessert we ordered bananas foster, coconut cream pis and chocolate cake. Unbelievable food. I have never eaten where all courses have been outstanding. The wins and drinks just added to the whole night. Do yourself a favor and make the trip if you are in Dallas and if you live in the area just go. The prices are unbelievable and the portions are perfect. Go, go, go.

After a night of partying, a pizza was just the thing I craved to cure my aching head. I ordered some kind of sausage & pepper pizza. The pizza didn’t take very long to come out of the wood fired oven and it was good but seemed a little lite on sausage topping. Service on the other hand was on the slow side. Still waiting for my server to come over and bring me my tab. For not being that busy on a late Saturday afternoon, service could be a little faster — but I think it was just my server cuz the other server was zipping all around me making me dizzy.
