I just got a letter from the state advising me that MY car is not insured. MY car, they think, is the car I sold to Toyota of RW that they never bothered to register or title. So if they have sold it and someone is driving it without insurance, since the car is apparently still in my name, I could be liable in a case of an accident. BULLSHIT! TOYOTA OF ROCKWALL WILL BE LIABLE, I HEREBY DECLARE, AS THEY ARE THE CURRENT OWNER OFTHE VEHICLE. The responsibility is theirs to transfer ownership and register the vehicle. I hate it when they auction these cars off. They just pass it on to whoever with no responsibility if the car will ever be insured, who used to own it, etc. I’ve heard that this place has shady business practices but not taking responsibility for vehicles they purchase should put them out of business.

Beware, Toyota Rockwall Price match guarantee is a Joke. Complete false advertising.
I was under the impression that Toyota Rockwall would honor their own advertising,
but I was completely tricked by Toyota service department. after paying for the service.
I am still waiting on the refund check to be released…

The service was fairly quick. I had an oil change, tire rotation and break check. It was less than 2 hours. I need new tires they are a little expensive at the dealership so I’m going to Costco instead. The Costco tires are Michelin. The price is 153.99 per tire plus a 70.00 off coupon. This is with the purchase of four tires. The dealership is 223.00 per tire. They (the dealership) will replace my tires with the same tires that came from the factory (Open Country Toyo A20). I prefer Michelin tires they are cheaper than the dealership and a great brand of tires.

This is the four time i bought the car here. I also referral my family member to come here and bought the car

I went to this dealership because I thought they did honest work when I had my front brakes done and my wheels bearings replaced two years ago on my Camry. A year later I found myself in a desperate situation when the serpentine belt on my Sienna broke on the freeway. I was running on battery power only. They told me that my harmonic balancer was damaged and developed a wobble; and that I they would not replace my belt without this expensive part, and I might as well replace the timing belt to save money. The classic bait and switch of dealerships. After inspecting the part (which they already removed for no reason) it was my assessment as a mechanical engineer, that they were lying. I had them reassemble my van and took it to Jackson Automotive in Rockwall. They confirmed that the harmonic balancer was still good and replaced my belt only; my Sienna has been running well since (almost a year). Jackson Automotive has higher prices but gets my business because of their honestly; I let them replace my timing belt in March. You lose Toyota of Rockwall. I hope your service department goes belly up.

Nothing but good things to say about Toyota of Rockwall. My wife wanted a particular color Prius V, and the only certified-​used car in the state of Texas was here! So we made the trek up from Houston to take a look over Memorial Day weekend. Initially, I couldn’t believe we were driving that far just to look at a car… but as they say, a happy wife is a happy life! My wife got a hold of Danny Mendez on the phone, and he was great to work with throughout the process. Their prices were pretty competitive with what we had locally at Don McGill Toyota, which we already knew was one of the top Certified-​Used dealers in Texas. All and all, no buyer’s remorse… and the metallic blue that my wife insisted on is growing on me!

Worst experience ever! Rude service David! From the get go I knew we were in for it with his attitude which came off deceitful and annoyed. Came for a quick oil change and got told we couldn’t get a oil change without a mandatory recall which involved disconnecting the subwoofer with no fixes in sight. Told me one thing and my husband another on the phone. Waited past expected time and then I was told it would take another 45 min for recall. Talked to assistant manger and manager and got the «it’s a woman» treatment. Women save your grace and go elsewhere. Our time is valuable too!

Liar! Liar!
Lured by promise of straigh shooters and reasonable prices, we drove to Toyota of Rockwall today to look at a used Mercedes ML350. On arrival, we immediately noticed the hood paint did not match the bumper or fenders, that there was a 1/​8″ bondo lump between right door and fender, and that the right fender was protruding past the bumper moulding ¼″. Byron, the salesman, acknolwedged each of these observations, as they were undeniable. He then promised that the used car buyer involved would know the history as he had recently taken this one owner used car in a trade-​in. Byron then left us to get this history.
Byron returned to report that the accident was a minor incident involving ONLY the front bumper, and that the bumper was replaced. This common lie in the business leaves the impression that the damage was fully repaired by replacement. Unfortunately, Byron had just admitted to seeing major misalignment, bondo lumps and signs of hood replacement that all indicated the damage went much deeper into the body AND that affected parts were repaired instead of replaced.
This means that Byron was not only offering a bold lie to cover damage and mislead us about the value of the vehicle, but Byron was doing so with full knowledge that we knew he was lying. I have only experience lying this blatant in people that have lied so long their moral compass has forgotten what the truth is.
I recommend you avoid this dealership at all cost… or at a minimum, protect yourself with the assumption that everything they tell you is a lie.

I can’t believe I waited for 3 hr, just to get my car in service. I was disappointed, people came after me they got done before me. I was really frustrated, I just wait patiently, without saying a word.

I visited Toyota of Rockwall after pre-​negotiating the price of a pre-​owned Toyota Prius. During the negotiation phase, I never indicated whether I would secure my own financing or rely on their Finance Department to secure financing. I arrived at the store and once the sales associate and his supervisor learned that I would not need financing but would secure my own financing or pay cash for the vehicle they were frustrated. They wanted me to fill out a credit application to see if they could get «a better rate.» I refused. The sales manager then attempted to pull a fast one on me by telling me that I needed to fill out a credit application because there is some counterterrorism organization (Office of Foreign Assets Control) known by its acronym, «OFAC.» According to these SCAMMERS, they have to make sure that «terrorist dollars» are not financing the car purchase. Sure, OFAC does exist but there are other ways that they can satisfy OFAC regulations without a credit check.

I would advise walking away from the deal or placing a temporary fraud alert, which is free, on your credit before you visit the dealership if you are not interested in dealer financing. Once placed on your credit, the fraud alert requires your approval before anyone can order a credit report.
Alternatively, go elsewhere to purchase a Toyota. Don’t get emotionally tied to a vehicle and walk away. These guys are ruthless.

We’ve bought 2 cars here & have all 3 of our Toyotas serviced here. No obnoxious salesmen, knowledgeable service department, reasonable prices, great customer service. Nice strong coffee while you wait.

What an awesome experience! After hearing about the dealership’s great customer service and «green» features of the dealership, I had to check the place out for myself. I get to the dealership, and I was instantly greeted by the salesman and the GM. The dealership is beautiful, and come to find out it is actually rated greenest dealership in Texas. (Who knew?!) After doing a little research online, I had determined that I wanted a fuel efficient car for a low monthly payment, but I did need some help in differentiating the different models. I explained to my salesman my wants and needs, and he refreshingly did not instantly bring me to the most expensive car on the lot, but he actually listened! And not only that, but the Prius was actually cheaper than my original budget. Now keep in mind, I am an educated shopper. I blue booked my trade online before coming into the store to be sure I got a fair trade value, and I also looked up the «fair price» for the different models I was interested in. They were willing to give me more for my trade than I expected to receive, and got me a great deal on my new Prius. This is a VERY happy customer!

The last two times I visited Toyota of Rockwall Service department for my 25 000 and 30 000 maintenance the service rep that helped us was unprofessional and unfriendly. We went in late last year and told us we would not receive a car wash because it was broken. He then walked up to us while we were in the waiting room and tried to change the channel twice from what we were watching and asked us if we wanted to watch «divorce court». My husband and I looked at each other and thought what a strange man. He was unprofessional and unfriendly, and seemed rude in my opinion. I thought maybe he was having a bad day. The representatives at Toyota have always been professional and friendly before, Mr. helped us last time we were there for maintenance and he was very professional and helpful., who sold us our Prius in 2012 was awesome and I gave her a very high scoring review that said so. The Toyota service specialist we saw in late 2013„ was not professional.
I thought maybe he was having a bad day and did not report him after his unprofessionalism in 2013.
We went into Toyota Rockwall Service department yesterday after making an appointment online. Again, Toyota service specialist approached us when we drove up to drop off our car. I informed him that we had just installed an air filter and cabin air filter and that all we needed was an oil change and tire rotation, and I handed him a coupon. He looked at me unprofessionally, like he was mad, and said my car needed a 30,000 mile
«injection» service. I opened my maintenance manual and told him it did not say anything about that service for my 30,000 mile maintenance on our 2012 Prius V. He looked mad, and said we’ll get her done twice. When I picked up the car I was disappointed that our coupon for 34.99 oil change did not apply since our car gets synthetic oil (I completely understand that synthetic oil is more expensive) and that they gave us a discount price of 48.00 for the synthetic and 20.00 to rotate our tires. We paid our bill. When I opened the car to drive home there was papers scattered all over my vehicle. My personal papers were sitting in my passenger seat, my maintenance book was thrown and open on my dashboard, and the coupon I brought and my appointment confirmation paper I handed to Toyota service specialist were thrown all over my dashboard. I took pictures and will attach them. My nice big book that holds all the manuals for the 2012 Prius V (it also contained all my sales documents) was missing from the car. (I discovered that this morning when I went to look for it). There are not many things in my car. less than 10, and that was one of them. I am not saying that they took it on purpose, but maybe they cleaned the car and it fell out or something?
I looked at the Toyota Multipoint Inspection paper they gave us stapled to our receipt, and the service rep that filled that form out checked the boxes in yellow that indicated that our engine air filter and cabin air filter both «may require further action». We replaced them on the way to the dealership (very easy to replace, and we bought them at autozone). Is Toyota stating that STP air filters and not quality products?
Also, I looked in my maintenance log and Toyota service specialist only put a stamp and his initials on my page, and did not check off the work that was done, as was done each other time I brought my car to Toyota for maintenance.
I perceived that he did not want to take the time to do his job properly.
It is unprofessional to leave papers thrown all over my car.
It is not professional to be unfriendly, or rude.
I paid 30,000 for my Prius V in 2012, and I expect to be treated with professionalism.
I called Toyota customer service and spoke with a very professional Toyota representative and told her about my experiences recently with Toyota Rockwall and she gave me a reference number of. She told me she would have someone from Toyota call me back.

All I can I said about this Dealer is that had excellent service, I am a picky person, I visited multiples dealer to see which one give me excellent service and price, no one like Toyota of Rockwall. Bayron Posas was clear on the offer, give me EXCELLENT PRICE FROM COSTCO MEMBER. Also, I did not have to spend my all day dealing with price and financial. I bought my Highlander there! had been excellentent, I am so happy :). He explained how to use everything in the car with details, because and not kind of technological person… but now I used and is more convenient for me… If you would like to buy a Toyota Car do not hesitate to go there you are not going to regret… Ask for Bayron too… he did not call me so many time to offer the car which I appreciate, it took me one week but I went back to bought it…

This dealership do no of it together-​at all. From buying the car to receiving the registration, the entire process took an absurd amount of time and each person was difficult to deal with. Since I dealt with 5 people and all had the same attitude, I would say that this is how management wants to treat their customers. The prices are great-​be wary of the salesmen, pay attention and make sure the vehicle has everything it is supposed to have (mine didn’t have floor mats), and HOUND them about your registration info. If you go, expect to spend an inordinate amount of time for the signing of the contract, and be prepared that your car buying experience may actually be a couple months long.

This is seriously the best dealership I’ve ever been to — and I’ve been to a lot of dealerships because I *hate* and I mean, hate, car salesmen.
I was in the market for a new or used car. I’d pretty much made up my mind that I wanted some kind of Toyota so I popped in just because I happened to be on that side of town. Byron said hi to me, but not that fake, swarm at me «hi» — I said I needed to use the restroom and get a cup of coffee, I’d just come from work (hahah) he did all of that, he was very chill. Then I said I wanted to look at Yaris’, no problem. I checked those out and right away, I saw that they were way too small. So then he showed me a Corolla, the whole time he wasn’t «selling» me the car, he was listening to me, letting me ask questions and just answering me — not pushing anything on me or feature puking the car to me. I test drove the Corolla — and I mean I test drove that sucker. Out on the interstate, up and down, all over, it was great. I loved it. Then I said «well, can I see a Camry since I’m already here?» Sure he said, Byron was very chill which I liked because I’m pretty calm. So I drove the Camry, it was great but all the bells and whistles made me nervous. He could tell that and even said «this might not be the car for you.» I asked to see a black and white comparison on all 3 cars. He pulled bottom dollar numbers on all 3 cars I liked — no hassling or haggling, he literally gave me the best prices on all 3, took away the fees and the junk. Then took into account my down payment, financing options, had everything printed out and ready to go — side by side comparisons that I could see. It was great. I knew as soon as I saw everything in front of me on paper what I wanted — the Corolla, and not used, brand new b/​c that was actually the better deal with all the incentives Toyota was offering. I said I had to think about it, he said no problem. I took all the paperwork with me. I went to dinner, went online and saw that those really were awesome prices, came back 2 hours later and bought the Corolla. He had it cleaned and detailed, filled with gas, he told me to come back in a few weeks and they’d clean it again and put more gas in it. Two days later Toyota called to make sure I had a great experience and the next day my husband went and test drove cars with Byron! He’s seriously a great guy and that place is just nice… not pushy, weird, shisty or criminal. Everything is laid right in front of you, no hidden anything. They are even hand delivering my plates for me. I won’t go anywhere else!

I needed to find a new car and researched everything about the new Camry. I sent information about the car and my specifications through the internet and George Lawton responded promptly. He was courteous and invited me to come look at the Camry he had in stock. George was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and I felt comfortable asking him about all the features. The transaction went smoothly and I’m very happy with my new Camry!
On a side note, I got my new tires from there when I had my old Rav4 and they had the best price around!

I live in Dallas and bought a car in Rockwall because a friend of mine had told me what a great experience she had here. From the moment I called in and spoke with my salesperson Andy, I felt very comfortable and could tell he wanted to help me out. He listened to what I wanted in a car, and didn’t try to sell me something I that didn’t interest me. When I told him what my budget was for the car, he helped me buy the car I wanted for $ 50 a month less than what I had told him I could pay. That’s a lot of extra money for me! Two days after I bought the car, I noticed I had forgotten my garage door opener. I called Andy and he had it delivered to my house.
Great customer service and a very nice, green facility. I love this dealership and will recommend it to all of my friends and family.

We could go to a much closer Toyota dealership for service, but drive the extra 10 miles, because Shelly is there. She’s highly knowledgeable, responsive, and always goes the extra mile (no pun intended) to provide the best service. She’s always been available to answer questions and give advice when we’ve called when on vacation and are not close to a dealership.
We’ll probably be adding another Toyota soon, and will go to Rockwall for purchase because of Shelly.

I bought my second car here when I traded in my first Toyota. I just upgraded. It was a great experience. Don in service always takes care of my needs and makes me feel valued. I love coming here and will make the drive even if I am not in the area. They are heads and shoulders above the competition. They understand customer service and the facility is clean and GREEN.
