I have been going here since it opened in 2013. It’s in an apartment building and is very nice inside and relaxing. I always make an appointment and never have to wait like I have at other places. There aren’t any loud tvs blaring, just soft music. I do not want to hear a tv while I’m trying to relax and enjoy getting my nails done. Vickie has always done my nails and honestly in the 20 years I’ve had tips on, she’s the best. My nails never lift when she does them and I can go almost three weeks before my fill is needed.
Kevin will give you a great massage if you get a pedicure. He’s also great at designs. Get the gel polish on your toes — it’s expensive but it lasts forever and I’ve never had one chip. I have to go in and get it taken off or repainted.
Ask them about their frequent customer card. Every purchase you make they scan your card and it adds up until you get a credit towards your next fill or pedicure.
I’ve only had a great experience here and definately recommend.

Great hidden gem! Kevin does an awesome job on gel and Hannah gave me one of the best pedis I’ve ever had. This salon is nice and quiet and comfy. They serve iced cold water with fruit in it which is a nice touch.

Definitely will be back! Enjoyed the lavender and mint pedicure with a glass of white wine. The massage was perfect! Long massage which, let’s be honest, is the reason you get a pedicure anyway right?!

Ok, I was really hoping that Rockwalls nail salon situation would be redeemed. This was my last straw and it sucks because I was giving this last place the benefit of the doubt. It was a Tuesday evening (5pm) and I was the only person there. I walked in and told the manager what I would like which was Nexgen. She gave me the roundabout and kept pushing Shellac on me and said that would be better. But I refused politely and told her that I’m only interested to get Nexgen. I didn’t get the color that I wanted because I don’t think they had the color so they showed me the next best color. The girl that did my nails just finished taking care of a customer and the manager told her that I’m next after she was done with the client. Instinctively I can tell that the tech was annoyed and she most probably wanted a break. There were 5 other techs available but they were all sitting and lounging in the employee break room. When the tech came to me I had asked her about her nails and said they were really nice. In response she said ‘they are shellac’ and right after she says ’ I hate Nexgen’-IM NOT EXAGGERATING THAT PART! Immediately I was shocked of what she said especially in a place where you should be selling your product not bad mouthing it. I got really nervous and I thought ’ oh no, she’s totally going to butcher my nails!!’ She proceeds ahead where she shapes/​cleans and then used a buffer machine tool. She used this tool not only to even out my nail but used it to push my cuticle back-​what a painful experience! Right after, she used the alcohol to rub my nails one last time and it hurt like HELL! She did her job pretty quickly and you can tell she wanted to be done. She then told me to go ahead and wash my hands and to use the towel to wipe. I went to wash my hands and I couldn’t find the towels so I came back to my chair and I asked her where are the towels. She turned to me and says ’ you didn’t listen to me’ and gets the towel for me. Mind you she’s uttered the instructions with face guard on her. I wanted to tell her ‘JUST STOP! Don’t touch my nails if you’re miserable!!’ She went ahead and did my nails with speed and once she was done I knew for sure this was another place in Rockwall I can’t recommend to anyone One piece of advice for this place, please don’t push a product on a customer if that’s not what they wanted and DON’T have a product if you don’t want to promote it. Also, never give an attitude to a 9 month pregnant women! Thanks!

Other than the pricetag it was pretty cool for my first time. Methinks here over Christmas break, me and the Mrs will go again the two of us. (will halve my 200 $ bill lol). Nice folks here, and very comfy /​inviting.

They were awesome! I’m not a big talker, so It was great to get what I needed done, without being asked 4000 questions. great service, clean, great prices! I will be back.

I’ve been coming Kevin for over a year now! He is awesome I love his work Vicki is he sweetest and Hannah is the sweetest and most helpful. It’s a great environment & has a great selection of shellac!

My husband and i have gone here for over a year. We love this place. Vickie, Kevin, and Hannah are awesome. Quality work, spotless, calming enviornment.

Worst experience of my life. I made an appointment and apparently another lady had an appointment at the same time as me with the same lady. So the nail technician took me first, and sped through my nails. I got a full set of regular acrylic nails. The entire time she was doing my nails, she was begging the other lady that was waiting to stay. The polish she put on top was smeared and smudged every where. Once the other lady that was waiting left, she finally slowed down. I’m assuming since I’m young she thought I wouldn’t tip or take care of her, but after that I definitely didn’t tip. I have never been so angry. They are rude and unorganized.

My experience was just A-​OK. I called ahead on a rainy day and made an appointment (hey, you never know how busy a place may be). They were totally and completely empty when I arrived and I was the only customer for the entire 2 ½ hours I was there… hey, it was noon on a Monday. Not a big deal but when you’re the only customer and everyone is acutely aware that you’re the only one it’s kinda awkward.
It’s not a big salon but it’s nice and felt clean. My first impression was the wall ‘o nail polish. I’m pretty easy to please but I swear it took me 10 minutes to find a decent color. There was absolutely no order to this wall ‘o polish, with many bottles looking old and from meh brands. I finally settled on an OPI color that was just a-​ok but not what i was exactly wanting.
The girl who did my toes was a’ight. I sprung for the milk and honey pedicure because I wanted to really take my time and enjoy it. The technician wore gloves the entire time, even during the massage part. That always ruins it for me, honestly, and my $ 50 pedicure wasn’t really what I hoping it could be. She also got me GOOD with the cuticle trimmers (ouch, yo).
My gel manicure was fine, she did the best she could with my little stubby fingernails and a week later it’s still holding on strong. She did act a little put out when I changed from a regular olé manicure to a gel one. I guess for $ 80 before tip I was hoping for something special and I got something meh with a side of attitude.

Great service and many pedicure options! Typically I stick to a simple pedicure but decided to be adventurous and go for the chocolate pedicure. Smelled delicious the entire time and felt great. I’d definitely come by again if I lived here!

The service here is very nice and sanitary! I am very picky with my nails but they did an excellent job here. Very nice area and clean! My nails look great! They have many options and its a great area to go treat yourself! I got a pedicure and my eyebrows done and I loved both services. I also chose the honey and milk service. The massage and compliments to it were great, but expect to stay there and relax because you get many massages, and other great treatments!

We just moved here so decided to try this place since the photos looked so nice. Very nice & clean. They offer water or soda with a basic pedi and the staff is very friendly. My daughter & I both got basic pedicures and were both very pleased with everything. For a splurge they even offer chocolate, milk & honey, or citrus pedis (each comes with a glass of wine for those that really want to treat themselves). The basic pedi is $ 25, which is the same as every other salon I called. I will definitely go to Luxor Nail for all my pedicures!
