TLC Laser Eye Center

I sat on this review for about 9 months since my procedure before posting, but suffice to say, I think LASIK is worth every penny.
This is not the cheapest place to get LASIK by far, but there are few comparable doctors in the area with the level of experience and reputation as Holzman in the area. They turn away I believe about 25% of people who seek a consultation from what I recall, which helped me solidify my decision about TLC. Anyone who’s shopped around for LASIK in the area knows that there are other «cheaper» options that will readily operate on them. I have a firm belief that TLC wants nothing but success stories coming out of their offices and their reputation relies on that, so they only operate on people who they believe will make a solid recovery.
I also have two risk factors (large pupils and being an Asian female) that would put me at a heightened risk of complications not to mention I have GAD so I was very anxious about the whole thing so I did one eye at a time. I have to be honest, I thought I made a mistake for a good six months. I would get eye strain in front of the computer, the pain from the first week after the procedure was severe. I had pretty bad glare for 1 – 3 months and my dryness was moderate (but not severe) for a 6 months making my vision fluctuate. I was wondering if I just made myself dependent on expensive eye drops and thinking about «What if…» desert island scenarios where this procedure rendered me disabled. (logically you’re worse off breaking or losing your glasses on a desert island but logic does not prevail in the face of anxiety!)
Despite my paranoia, the doctors here will reassure you that you’re fine. TRUST THEM.
9 months out, my vision is better than ²⁰⁄₂₀ and I barely think about my eyes. I think about them when I wake up and they’re a bit dry in the morning (use a humidifier!) and before I go to bed as a precaution. Yes, the drops are expensive but with only drops 2x a day you can make individual vials last. I love being able to see without glasses and doing active, outdoor activities is just a lot more enjoyable. The first time you get into the ocean or swim in a creek and being able to see your surroundings should convince you why LASIK is not just about aesthetics but quality of life.
And do yourself and the doctors a favor and just get both eyes done at once. (you prolong your own suffering!)

I have to say I was very impressed with the amount of kindness and professionalism I experienced during my visit today. The office is beautiful, staff is friendly and the doctor was so down to earth. Even in telling me I didn’t qualify, I still couldn’t help but smile. He explained why with such simplicity and was even able to expose a condition that might affect my eyes in the future if I wasn’t careful. He said he would follow up with my eye doctor and tell her what to continue to monitor for. What an awesome experience.

My eye doctor recommended TLC to me when I mentioned that I was interested in Lasik. I thought that I would go in for a consult there and also check out other places, because eye surgery is a big deal and I need to feel confident about where I get it done. From my first visit there I felt sure that this place was right for me. They answered all of my questions, kept me informed about everything every step of the way, were very kind and reassuring, and extremely professional.
When it was time for my surgery to happen, I got pretty anxious, Dr. Holzman and everyone else involved was very reassuring and did their best to keep my relaxed. My procedure took 10 minutes at most. There were some unforeseen minor complications (completely unrelated to the eye surgery and the TLC eye center) afterward and everyone in the area took the time to make sure my husband and I were taken care of, comfortable, and looked after. Dr. Holzman, as well as others from TLC, followed up in the following days to make sure everything was going okay.
Every single person that I came in contact with at TLC was extremely caring and professional while remaining realistic (Though Tammy is truly the best!). They made sure to take the time to answer all of my questions and make sure I was fully aware of the risks of the procedure. They did an awesome job and 1 month out from my procedure, I am feeling and seeing great! I would definitely choose TLC again with no hesitation if I had to do it all over again.

Dr. Rubinfeld just performed lasik surgery on my eyes yesterday, and I can already see well enough to drive. I am 23 and have had glasses since I was 8, so I was impressed that I could see the second I woke up. Dr. Kim and Dr. Rubinfeld well prepared me for the procedure, checking that my vision had stayed stable from our last appointment. Dr. Rubinfeld made me feel even more calm by telling me about his experience getting his lasik done. If you were to trust any doctor with your vision, this is definitely the place to go.

I am writing this review on my iPhone 6 plus and I can see what I am typing perfectly and I can see everything else perfectly. Why? Because I got bladeless LASIK at TLC in Rockville. I used to have 20/4,000,000 (approx) vision and I could not see a Damn thing without glasses or contacts. I knew it would be expensive but I wanted to be able to forget glasses or contacts and everything that went with them and just be able to wake up and go to bed with perfect vision. I am so glad I got LASIK here. I don’t know if the results would have been as good at any other place. I did a lot of research before choosing this place. I am 25 years old and I don’t make a lot of money and I still live at home and LASIK is $ 5,100. I can’t afford that. But I can afford $ 200 a month. I may have to pay it off in 2 years but $ 200 a month is not so bad considering LASIK is a scientific miracle. Dr. Holzman was funny, caring, and professional. You are in good hands there. I was very nervous about the procedure as anyone would be. It is not painful and it lasts 15 minutes. It is no scarier than going to the dentist (in fact, it’s actually probably much less terrifying).
It has been a little over a month now and I have ²⁰⁄₁₅ vision and I could not complain even if I wanted to. Thank you TLC and thank you Dr. Holzman.

3.5 months post-​op. I could not be happier with my results.
Just took my first long vacation following surgery… Not having to travel with glasses or contacts was amazing.
This place is a well-​oiled machine, exactly what you want from a practice that is doing surgery on your eyes. It seems to me that they have the most state of the art equipment and since this is all they do that they are experts. Thanks Dr. Holzman and team!

Dr. Holzman and team did a great job correcting my eye sight. I used to wear contacts and I was tired of ordering them, buying solution, cleaning them, and putting them in and taking them out. It was too much. I read some reviews online about Dr. Holzman — sounded legit so I scheduled my first appointment that week.
You will have a couple of tests done to make sure your vision is good for Lasik. These people know what they are doing. After the tests they ask you not to wear contacts for about 30 days (might be less). Procedure took 5 mins lol. Dr. Holzman was very nice and made me feel less nervous about the operation. He followed up with me the next day to make sure everything was ok.
MAKE SURE YOU MAKE YOUR APPOINTMENT WHEN THERE IS NO TRAFFIC!!! AFTER THE PROCEDURE YOU NEED TO GO HOME AND SLEEP! IT WILL HURT A BIT IF YOU DONT FALL ASLEEP BY TIME THE NUMBNESS WEARS OFF!
I made the mistake to schedule my appointment at 3:30 PM and it was a struggle getting home. Make sure you have a DD — you cannot drive after your procedure.
I highly recommend Dr. Holzman — My vision is great and my eyes arent dry anymore. Best investment!

It’s been a month since I had Lasik eye surgery done by Dr. Luthra and I am completely satisfied! This location is clean and the workers are friendly. The whole experience of the eye surgery was a little nerve wrecking but the doctor and his staff make sure you are comfortable. They offered me a little teddy bear to hold to ease my fears. At first I thought, «I don’t need this, I’m not a kid.» But I took it anyway. Boy did I need it! The anxiety got to me during the procedure and I was squeezing the teddy bear so hard! So, take the teddy bear if they offer it to you! And also ask for a blanket because it gets cold in the surgery room. The whole procedure goes by fast. It’s important to follow the doctor’s instructions and to keep your head still. What I loved about Dr. Luthra was he explained every single move he made and what was to be expected which I liked since there were no surprises. I also appreciated when he counted down the seconds left when they were using the laser on my eye.
Tips: Bring someone to drive you home afterwards. Do the post-​surgery drops as instructed by the doctor. Have pain meds on hand just in case. And go to your follow-​up appts.
I highly recommend Dr. Luthra!

I heard about TLC Laser Eye Center from a family. Their team of skilled doctors and assistants perform a detailed LASIK consultation to see whether you’re a candidate for LASIK or not and what kind is best for you. Because I was a candidate for LASIK, they scheduled a surgery date and time based on their availability and your time constraints. They gave me a chart specifying what eye drops to take for the weeks /​days leading up to the surgery. On surgery date, you could enjoy hot tea /​coffee and snacks (e.g., Nature Valley bar, Nutrigrain bar, Biscoff cookies, etc) in the lobby while you wait. Before surgery, they put you in a dark room with nature sounds and scenes playing on screen to relax you. Upon entering the surgery, they ask what you’d like to listen to and put on your favorite radio station. It’s important to follow the doctor what tells you to do. The surgery only takes a couple minutes per eye. The doctor was very gentle and the surgery was not as scary as I thought it would be. They take a post-​op picture! It’s also important to rest after surgery. Dr. Andrew Holzman texted and emailed me to see how I was doing. They also provide post operation care such as multiple follow ups (e.g., next day, 1 month, 3 month, 6 month, 12 months) and corrective surgery. At the 6 months mark, I still have ²⁰⁄₂₀ in both eyes. I felt like it was a very personable experience that I wouldn’t have been able to get elsewhere (e.g., Dr. Anthony Roberts, Lasik Plus Vision Center) where they operate like factories with no post op care. Anyways, LASIK consultations at TLC are free so call to schedule yours today!

I had my LASIK done with TLC in March 2012. It was about $ 1000 more expensive than the other LASIK providers in the area, but TLC had better reviews on Unilocal and Google than the main competitors in town, so I figured it would be worth the extra money. I am really happy with my decision. Dr. Holzman was fantastic, and my vision is absolutely perfect now. The world is so much more beautiful and I just am so shocked at how much better I see now than I did before when I wore glasses/​contacts. I especially notice the difference in the evening and at night, where my vision seems to be much more clear than when I wore glasses. Sometimes after a long hard day of stressful work, I am driving home, and I look around me at about 7pm, and I start to see all these beautiful details in the buildings and the trees and I think to myself how beautiful the world is and how thankful I am to see it.
It sounds like I’m gushing, but it’s really true. Two years later, and I’m still thinking about the LASIK, and how beautiful I can see the world now. I really had no idea that I could see such clear details. The LASIK I undertook with Dr. Holzman was custom LASIK with one of the best types of LASIK machines, and they only do custom LASIK procedures at TLC as far as I know. Custom LASIK costs more but allows you to see much better than other non-​custom LASIK. Custom LASIK also avoids nighttime vision problems like halos. This is because custom LASIK treats higher order aberrations, and so it more precisely corrects the irregularities in the depth of your cornea. I researched this stuff a lot before doing the LASIK and determined that I only wanted the LASIK with a certain type of laser (not all optometrists in the area have that type of LASIK), but TLC had one. I forget now what it’s called.
Beyond the surgery itself, I was overall very satisfied with the pre– and post-​op care from TLC. I live in DC, and work in Northern VA, and the fact they have offices in MD, DC and VA made it super convenient for check ups. Dr. Jo Angeles was great, as well as Dr. Smeriglio, whom I called up one time right after the surgery with an urgent (so i thought) question, and he was surprisingly friendly and helpful despite the call being after hours.
The surgery itself was absolutely painless and super fast. I can’t believe how easy it was. Nevertheless, I was nervous and did the one thing they tell you not to do: stop breathing. It’s so simple, just keep breathing, but being an idiot I stopped breathing for about 10 seconds at the end of the procedure. Dr. Holzman totally noticed and incredibly finished up the surgery with no ill effect. I think that really shows his expertise and experience. As they say, the LASIK laser machine is only the tool, and it is the expertise of the doctor, and how they use the machine, that yields the actual results. Dr. Holzman was spot on, and I have something like ²⁰⁄₂₀ or ²⁰⁄₁₀ vision now. Awesome!!!

Dr. Holzman and his team did a phenomenal job correcting my horrible eyesight. Along with terrible prescription, I also suffered from extreme astigmatism. Thanks to TLC Rockville and Dr. Holzman, I now have ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision and no longer wear corrective lenses. Highly recommend them for your Lasik needs.

I had the most pleasant, wonderful experience with Dr. Holzman and the Rockville TLC Laser Eye Center. The surgery was a breeze! Dr. Holzman was so pleasant and patient and made me feel very confident about the procedure. The surgery was over quickly and although being a bit nerve-​wracking at times, was painless! Dr. Holzman and his team assured me the entire time, however, and I knew I was in good hands. I was told that my eyes would be burning, watering, and bothering me after the surgery, but they didn’t at all! I took my mandatory 3-​hour nap and was amazed at how easy the recovery was!
The next day, I was able to drive, read, and had ²⁰⁄₃₀ vision already! My vision was very bad before (–6.0 in each eye with –1.5 astigmatism in my right eye), so this was amazing! My vision has continued to improve, with the biggest improvement between my 1 week and 4 week follow-​up appointments. Today I had my 4-​week follow-​up appointment and found out that I have ²⁰⁄₁₅ vision! I still have a slight (–0.5) astigmatism in my right eye, but I’m hoping that will continue to improve. My eye doctor has remarked what an amazing job Dr. Holzman did and that I have little to no scarring, only 4 weeks after the surgery.
I have other friends who have had lasik and they complained about pain afterwards, sensitivity to sunlight, and halos at night that lasted for several months (or up to a year) after the surgery. I’ve had none of these problems! My only issue is slight blurring of vision at night due to my remaining astigmatism, but again I’m hopeful that it will improve. I’ve been diligent about the eye drop regimen that they recommend and I’ve had very few issues with dry eye, either. (And any dry issues that I do have are comparable or actually less than those that I had with contacts anyway.)
It is so amazing to be able to wake up in the morning and be able to see, or to be able to watch TV in bed while traveling and not have to worry about getting up to take out my contacts. I can’t wait to go on a beach vacation and experience being able to see in the ocean or in a pool for the first time!
I am so glad that I had this surgery and that I chose Dr. Holzman. For anyone with vision as bad as mine (especially if you wear glasses and not contacts), I say run (don’t walk!) to get a consultation! I absolutely hate wearing glasses (having to wear my glasses for 4 weeks before the surgery was actually the worst part of this whole experience!) and had been having trouble with my contacts due to extreme allergies. An amazing benefit of the surgery is also that my eye allergies are almost completely gone too! I think it’s because I’m no longer wearing contacts, which trapped the allergens in my eyes and may have also dried them out.

Sorry about my extremely long review! I was really nervous to get LASIK, and thought a really detailed review may help someone who’s on the fence about getting the procedure. =)
I could not be happier with my decision to go to TLC and Dr. Holzman for my LASIK surgery. I started wearing glasses in 4^th grade, and then switched to contacts in 8^th grade, and just about 3 years ago, my vision stabilized. I really wanted LASIK because I hated both glasses and contacts, but I was too scared to actually make an appointment to find out if I qualified. Finally after visiting my eye doctor this summer, (Dr. Vaziri at Shady Grove Eye Care — she’s the best!) she convinced me to go for the free consultation. I was still very nervous, but I figured — hey, it’s free!
The moment I stepped foot into TLC’s Rockville office, I felt comfortable and welcomed. The receptionist is so sweet and chatted with me while I waited. I was brought back and had a few tests performed for the doctor to review. During this first appointment, I met with Dr. Angeles, who was so nice (and adorable!), and explained the procedure to me in detail and answered all of my questions. I felt so much more at ease after speaking to her and decided that I was going to have this procedure done. Dr. Angeles brought me to see Tony, who helped me schedule my surgery, figure out financing (24 months interest free!) and gave me some RX’s to fill. The RX’s can definitely add up, but it was worth it to me, to ensure that my eyes were in top shape for my surgery!
I went back the next week for a 2^nd pre-​op appointment and again had the same tests performed as my first visit. This time I met with Dr. S, and although he wasn’t as adorable as Dr. Angeles (haha), he was super knowledgeable and again, made me feel 100% comfortable about my upcoming surgery. He brought me to Tony again, and again, prescribed me some more drops for my procedure.
Before I knew it, surgery day had finally arrived! I was extremely nervous on our drive over, despite my husband’s efforts to calm my nerves. I arrived at TLC and was taken to the back almost right away. Tony came in and again, went over exactly what I could expect during my procedure, had me sign off on my financing paperwork, and wished me good luck! Finally, Dr. Holzman came in to introduce himself and make sure I was calm. He told me to «find my zen» and chatted with me to calm my nerves. He gave me a Xanex and some Aleve. Honestly I don’t think the Xanex helped me at all — I still felt really jittery and nervous — I think just talking to Dr. Holzman helped a lot. He was really nice and calm, which I think helped calm me down and talking with him took my mind off the surgery. I got taken to a «relaxation room» for about 5 minutes and then it was time for my surgery. I am not going to go into detail in the surgery, because to be honest, I don’t remember much. It seemed a little bit like a dream, I think because I was so nervous. I do remember Dr. Holzman talking me through the whole procedure and saying things like, «You’re doing great!». I didn’t feel any pain at all — just a small amount of pressure. The entire procedure probably took less than 10 minutes, I’m not really sure. When it was over, Dr. Holzman asked me to sit up and I walked over to a chair so he could look at my eyes and I remember I could pretty clearly see the clock on the wall about 10 feet behind him. SO CRAZY!
Post-​surgery has been great. I definitely had some discomfort when I got home, before my nap. Once I fell asleep I was fine, and when I woke up, there was no pain and I COULD SEE. Seriously, the craziest thing in the world for someone who hasn’t been able to see for 20 years! There are LOTS of drops to put in the first few hours/​days after surgery, and I didn’t really experience too much dryness until I had to go back to work and stare at my computer screen for 8 hours, ha! Dr. Holzman called me the night after my surgery to check in, and he also emailed me to check in a week later. I don’t know ANY doctors that do this for their patients — he is awesome.
A week following my surgery, I was told I had ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision in both eyes! I am SO happy with my decision to go to TLC and Dr. Holzman for my LASIK. If you are thinking about it at all, go for your free consultation — I’m sure they will answer all your questions, put your mind at ease, and make you feel confident that you can get the procedure done.

Class act. I signed up with TLC after researching all of the options around here. The coupon/discount/“value” providers had some pretty sketchy reviews, and if you’re here you know people have mostly great things to say about TLC Rockville. Add me to that list.
They explain everything, make you feel at ease with it, and really do a great job with what is a scary procedure to walk into. I had my surgery nine months ago now and am still telling friends how great it is to see without my glasses! I kept one pair of my glasses, every few weeks I’ll look through them and just say wow, I was how blind?!
Absolutely no regrets. Referred two friends to them and counting, both of them have also been thrilled at the service and results. These guys deserve all five stars I’ve given them.

CAVEAT: This is not a recommendation for laser eye surgery – you must make these decisions on your own in consult with your doctor!
That said, it’s been six months since having my Lasik done, and I’ve suffered no problems except that which they advertise. I’m completely happy about my decision, except for an occasional ‘false gesture’ when I reflexively go for my glasses and then I realize the’re nowhere to be found and not needeed!
I was directed to TLC by virtue of my wife’s eye shop (Virginia Vision Associates). She had really good service from them and based on this, I was willing to work with TLC. Dr. Holtzman has offices in Virginia and Maryland; the Maryland office was good for my post-​op return home. This evaluation is for the Maryland office – I didn’t visit any other location.
The venue is a first-​floor in a large office building. Parking is not validated, so it can be somewhat annoying if you have to wait for your appointment (I did), because that eats into your parking time.
The staff was quite friendly and helpful – none of your preliminary visits are with Dr. Holtzman – and is oriented toward closing the deal. Thus, you will have your eyes measured, any questions answered, and a discussion of costs and pre-​planning/​visualization of the preparations needed (eye drops, etc.) and what to expect on your day and the days after. All of this is important if you go ahead with the procedure. I felt like this was a bit of sales theater to convince you that the cost is justified.
On the day of my surgery, I had the same friendly staff, all supportive of me in my decision (more theater) and was guided through a series of pre-​op relaxation spaces. Maybe this is necessary for some, but for me it was a whole lot of waiting and anticipation. The actual surgery was quick – almost as if in a dream. I finally got to see Dr. Holtzman! Literally, within 10 minutes he had my eyes finished. (Zap bang!) My wife came to pick me up; I relaxed as they suggested, had a nice weekend where I discovered everything becoming clearer.
Cut to today: no glasses, clear eyesight on my bike (I didn’t realize that bugs are more prone to fly into your eye w/​o glasses, grin), more comfort in driving, and a need for professional pictures that feature me w/​o my glasses.
If there is any negative statement about Dr. Holtzman is with respect to their sales pitch. They stated that «during your surgery, you might smell a burning odor. This is normal and are the gases inside the laser that are required for operation.» This is BS and I don’t like to be patronized – it reduces the value of patient-​doctor trust. I only know this because a colleague of mine that got the surgery two weeks later at another doctor’s was told that the smell is the laser burning/​cutting your cornea. (kinda smells like singed hair). No big whoop, but I’m a believer in honesty and being treated like an adult.
All in all, this is a great thing (wish I’d done it when I’m younger) that is part of the Laser Eye-​Industrial Complex. I’m not going to bet that the surgery will cost any less than it does in ten years. The laser manufacturers are milking their patents for all they are worth, charging doctors for every time they flip the thing on.

First off, I do want to thank Dr. Holtzman for his work. He did a fantastic job and I could not be happier with my new vision.
Sadly, i must write about the horrible story I just received from one of my good friends and her experience with the Rockville Office.
My friend and I were talking and she showed an interest in giving her son a gift of better vision. I immediately told her about Dr. Holtzman and TLC in Rockville. They treated me great and My vision has never been better. I told her to call up and to make an appointment. I met her the next day and she did not have good words for me.
She had called to make the appointment and she said when she called the woman at the end of the phone was extremely rude. First, she ridiculed my friend about her accent, which is not that bad, and then my friend asked to make an appointment and all the woman on the other end of the phone had to say was «this is a $ 5000 procedure» She never even hinted at making an appointment, she only seemed to assume that due to my friends Latin accent, that she would be unable to pay for the procedure at all.
I do not and cannot, in good faith, recommend an office with racist qualities.
If you do want this procedure, I do recommend Dr. Holtzman, but I do not recommend the Rockville office

I started wearing glasses for nearsightedness when I was in 3^rd grade. In high school I started wearing contact lenses; then later I was diagnosed with astigmatism. About a year ago, I started having problems, and was told I wouldn’t be able to wear contact lenses anymore. Without my glasses, I was basically blind. I’ve been a swimmer all my life, and love scuba diving and everything related to being in the water; the thought of wearing glasses and not being able to do the things I love was just unbearable. Dr. Holzman and TLC changed all of that! I couldn’t not be happier!
One of the best decisions I’ve made, was going to TLC and having the LASIK procedure with Dr. Holzman. Everyone at the Center is wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and very informative leading up to the procedure, during, and after. They took the time to explain every detail of the procedure, so that I would be relaxed and confident the day of the procedure. The entire procedure took all of 10 minutes, and did not cause me any serious pain. Just a little pressure, and slight discomfort. Minutes after the procedure my vision was improved (though a bit blurry). 3 hours after my procedure I could see; and 24 hours after the procedure I could see ²⁰⁄₂₀.
Seriously life changing! You really need to follow all the doctor’s instructions and recommendations. You need to do the prescribed eye-​drops. I was diagnosed with dry-​eye prior to the LASIK, and was well informed that this condition would likely worsen as a result of LASIK, but was instructed before the procedure to start on prescription and non-​prescription eye-​drops to help alleviate the dry-​eye. And was instructed/​prescribed eye-​drops to continue to take after LASIK. Of course the doctors were right, and my eyes are dry, but the eye-​drops help, and I can see, which is something I haven’t been able to do since 3^rd grade! I’m told the dryness will improve over time. I could not be happier with the results, and the entire experience was great!

These reviews simply cannot be real. This place is scary and so is this surgery. Like the one other review said, I am SO glad that I found out what a fraud this place was and backed out. They lied to me about the risks and when I questioned them a out the fine print they were very strange.
I found out that 10 of these centers got slapped with a class action suit in 2010 and now I know why.

What better way to wake up in the morning than with clear vision? I’m still in disbelief that I don’t have to reach for my glasses or take out my lenses at night. So I’ve been wearing glasses since the age of 6 (beat that hipsters). I had a fair bit of myopia and had a pretty hefty astigmatism (just below TLC’s eligibility criteria) so I was the bit skeptical. I’m now two weeks post Lasik, ²⁰⁄₂₀ vision with a significant reduction in astigmatism (according to my doc an insignificant, nominal amount remains which I truthfully can’t notice), and I could not be happier! Thank you TLC!
I received exception service from everyone on the TLC Rockville team, including Dr. Angeles, Tammy, Lee, Tony, and Dr. Holtzman. They made the consultation, pre-​op, and procedure a most comfortable and pleasant experience. I must admit that although the procedure was not the least bit painful, I totally felt like I was on a sci-​fi themed episode of Nip/​Tuck: mildly sedated, eyes numb, lids held open by some gismo, teddy bear in hand, Pink Floyd playing in the background, words of encouragement from the green scrubs, laser beams, the whole nine yards! I kept waiting for Dr. Christian Troy to land in a spaceship.
Just a couple post-​op tips:
#1. Things are really blurry when the procedure is done. Don’t be alarmed, just go home and take a 2 – 3 hour nap and all will be well when you wake up!
#2. Your eyes may be sensitive and dry as hell for the first couple of weeks. Again, be patient.
Three-​seven days post-​op, I really struggled in front of the computer at work. Turns out the screen was drying my eyes even though I didn’t realize it. I called TLC and they reassured me that this was normal and that I should use eye lubricating drops more frequently when in front of the computer for the first week or so. So I did and everything resolved itself rather quickly.
Now a full two weeks later, I still see wonderfully, my eyes feel great, no longer too dry, and no issues in front of the computer/​tv anymore. It’s a true game changer.

One year later and I could not be happier with my decision to get laser eye surgery here!
Vision is still better than ²⁰⁄₂₀.
