They’ll carefully guide you through our award-​winning gallery of home fashion fabrics and help you create a custom design plan for your window treatments, re-​upholstery, slipcovers, pillows, bed ensembles & more!

In our very own locally operated workshops, our artisan tailors craft your custom design by hand. They combine exquisite craftsmanship with the finest fabrics and sturdiest stitching to deliver results that will take your breath away.

Our in-​house team of technicians oversee deliver and installation. Their precise measurements and careful installation ensures everything fits perfectly, securely and beautifully for a lifetime.

Throughout our work, you’ll have a professional project manager to assist you. They provide automatic status updates and help coordinate appointments for design consultations, measuring and installation.

History

Established in 1971.

When Tom Fulop arrived to the United States at 19, he had no money and barely spoke English. He knew how to handcraft plastic slipcovers though and began knocking door-​to-​door offering his services to make ends meet.

As people invited him into their homes, they were amazed by his exquisite craftsmanship. They quickly began asking if he could handcraft other custom products such as window treatments. He worked tireless trying to keep up with demand and hired other artisans to craft pillows, draperies, headboards & more all by hand.

Today, Rockville Interiors operates multiple workrooms where we pair state-​of-​the-​art technology with Tom’s old work fabrication techniques. Our interior designers help you imagine the product, our workrooms bring the design to life and our technicians oversee delivery and installation.

Tom continues to inspire the Rockville Interiors team to use the finest designer fabrics to create custom home furnishings which look gorgeous and last a lifetime.
