Needed to get a leak in my master bath shower repaired and turned out to be a much bigger job because of matching the tile etc. However, I could not get a free quote for the insurance company because ‘insurance companies never accept our quotes’, which left me with the option of paying $ 300 for a quote. Two other companies provided free quotes, not far off at all from a verbal estimate, and my insurance company singned off without question. World have prefered metro preform the work because of their reputation, however, without a quote I wasn’t given the choice.

UPDATE… this has just been finalized. There was a problem with the original installation and we were not satisfied. Metropolitan Bath and Tile bent over backwards to make sure we were happy once they learned that we were not. They corrected the problem at their expense and even included upgraded materials at no extra charge. I am beyond pleased and will recommend Metropolitan. Thank you for making this right! I recommend!

If I had known about this website a year ago, I would have written this review then. Metropolitan did two bathroom renovations for us in April ’12. We love both of our new bathrooms, however, unlike the last reviewer, we can’t say we loved the crew. We believe that one of the workers was less than honest with us. I would recommend this company though. Their choice of products is great, the work was done promptly and with little disruption to our daily routine, and our house was kept clean and all work was begun and completed according to schedule. If you use this company, just make sure that if you are told during the course of the work that more money is needed, make a phone call to the design center first to verify. I also recommend during the estimate phase that you ask about any potential problems/issues that might occur which would result in a higher cost, and what those costs might be so that you won’t be in for any surprises once work begins.
