Horrible service, waited 20 mins for drinks. Never even got our food after an hour plus so we walked out. Manager said kitchen backed up and everyone ordered at once. Ok, nice try, restaurant was half full when we walked in. Avoid at all costs.

This place is horrible… the worst experience ever. Avoid ASHELY B at all cost or just don’t come here. I don’t usually go Hooters… but we got desperate and this was close by. I’ll try just make this as short as possible since I could almost write a book about how bad the experience was. Ashely took our order, we waited an entire hour or even a little over an hour. We were VERYPATIENCE. Ashely was rude. Ashely tumbled all over the place… Ashely’s responded to our questions in a very IGNORANT way. Was told our order was being made, «fresh,» then because our orders was, «big,»…girl bye… All we had was WATER… the entire hour we waited. even though we ordered some appetizers. Here’s a TIP, please don’t let customers wait this long, try not to be annoyed, ignorant, and rude. Then again, I read the reviews… waiting forever for service looks like it’s normal here. Horrible experience.

Horrible experience ever. Was not as crowded, and I have seen crowded here before. Our waitress is Ashley. We ordered our food and sat there waited for ANHOUR!!! Usually I’m very patient but ANHOUR??? Really. She did not come and check on us at all while we were waiting. Ordered appetizers and did not see any of it. The table near us sat down way after us and got their food before us… Same waitress. Had to call her over and ask where the eff was our food and her reply was pretty darn stupid. Apparently if we ordered a lot of food with appetizer we won’t get it till an hour later. Her attitude sucks, customer service sucks, she got other people’s order wrong and was running into tables left and right. After we finally got our food we were all full of water by then. One thing that she was fast with was looking to see if we were gonna pay. Never again will I come here and for your sake avoid that girl Ashley.

«One beer per hour»? Really??? Why go to a bar? Next time I am heading to Millers, 100 yards away! 1 star for the management, 5 stars for the girls, but People should know about this«rule»!

Sunday afternoons should be pretty carefree for the customer. But a careless and inconsiderate wait staff is what I experienced on my visit. Waitress had no idea what drinks could be made as they seemed to be out of everything at the bar. The deer in the headlights look is what I got when I asked«what can you make to drink?» After a blank stare of «I don’t know» I just asked for a water instead. Food arrived but no silverware to eat with after this we asked for a manager who had seen our plight for the past 20 minutes from another table having conversation with other patrons. I literally laughed at him when he came over to attend to our request for a manager. He couldn’t comprehend we had observed him for 20 minutes prior with other happy customers well into there meals. Save the cash for actual strip clubs not this place.

It’s hard to know where to start with the description of what happened to me Sunday afternoon at this Hooters location. I’ve been going here off and on for over 20 years. There are good staffs, average ones and bad ones. Usually, there are 2 or 3 servers who really care about what they do that makes it worth going, but overall, the place has always been rife with poor management and spotty service. Yesterday, I sat at the bar for about 30 minutes waiting for my meal. I was served one beer and had virtually no time to touch the second one when the food finally arrived. I sat another 10 minutes waiting to get the attention of the bartender who was overwhelmed with work and no one within sight supporting her. I finally went over to a table and grabbed some paper towels and sat for another 5 minutes realizing that I still needed some silverware to eat my meal, but the bartender was swamped. Meanwhile; I was sitting next to the area where the servers drop off the used glasses. It was double-high and now a line of glasses was forming outside of the rubber mat next to me. No one was even washing the glasses! I finally caught one of the servers who was dropping off more glasses and asked if there was a manager on duty. She said she’d send them over. Dalaina Ray, the manager on duty, came by and I stated to her that I’d been there going on an hour and while I’d finally received my food, I didn’t have any silverware and there was no one really to help me but the overwhelmed bartender. I then pointed to the mounting glasses next to me and stated that no one was taking care of things. She responded by immediately throwing my food and beer into the trash and ordered me out of the restaurant! I asked her what she was doing and then she threatened to call the police! I told her to go right ahead because I’d love to have a police report written up on this! She then walked away, got her cell phone and asked«how many beers did you have». I stated one. She’d thrown the second one, which I’d barely touched, away with my food. She walks away again and comes back, still on her cell phone and asks«how tall are you?» I replied: «the police will figure that out when they get here». She walks away a few more times, coming back to the bar pretending as if she’s speaking to the police and repeating for me to leave. I replied«I’ll wait for the police». This went on for about 15 minutes when I finally got the attention of the bartender again and asked her if there was«an adult» on duty whom I could speak to. She replied angrily«No! There’s no „adult“ here! She’s the only manager here!». I asked if there was anyone else that I could speak to, «No!». Despite the complete nonsense going on, the bartender appeared to be just as hostile as the manager. So I then told the bartender that I needed my check… that I wasn’t going to walk out of the restaurant with an open check; giving this manager a legitimate reason to call the police. At this point; Dalaina rushes back up to the bar, grabs my check and tears it up in front of me stating«you can leave!»;. I then headed to the door when Dalaina followed me, still with her cell phone in-hand and as I reached the outside came up to me and stated«I need to see what car you’re driving so that I can get the license tag!». I replied that she should simply get the police there instead of trying to follow me and why was she trying to get my license plate when I hadn’t committed any crime. I told her again that I’d continue to wait for the police as I wasn’t concerned because I hadn’t committed any crime! She then walks back into the restaurant, looking out of the door at me, still on her cell phone. I calmly stood there for another 5 minutes, waiting for the police; who never came. I suppose that she didn’t want to follow-up her abusive behavior with a false police report, but was fine with pretending to be talking to them with what was now over 30 minutes of complete and utter nonsense! I’ve never in the two decades that I’ve been going here experienced more immature, insane and disrespectful treatment! It was completely surreal! Through all of this, I never raised my voice once because it was all so completely ridiculous! I really wanted for a policeman to show up, take a report and interview the other customers to demonstrate how completely and utterly outrageous this manager’s behavior was! Her message was clearly that no complaints were allowed, no matter how poorly she was running the place! I called the Hooters customer service line and reported the incident, but have no idea what will come of it. I can’t imagine how Ms. Ray became a manager in the first place nor why she remained one 5 minutes after I reported the incident! This continues to be one of the worst-run Hooters anywhere… they can’t seem to buy a good manager and just consistently provide sub-par customer service. It’s been bad in the past, but this one completely takes the cake!

_____THE MANAGER ! For the last 12 years, my friend and I have enjoyed lunch every week at Hooters in Rockville. If anyone is an expert on the Rockville Hooters — it’s us. On Monday, March 21st we noticed a drastic change in the atmosphere and quality of food safety. For the first time ever, we suddenly found an absence of waitresses. We knew instantly, that the entire staff had quit and been replaced because none of the regular waitresses we still here. The week before we had heard that no one was coming back. We didn’t believe it; but we do now. We found our new waitress, Yasmine, angry and rude. It’s Hooters. It’s supposed to be fun and friendly. During our lunch everything that we requested somehow got confused and we were stuck with what was delivered to the table. It was just lunch. We even got additional charges that weren’t discussed. My friend had a cheese steak; after his second bite, he pulled out of his mouth what appeared to be a large orange stick in front of me. I asked him what it was; and he didn’t know. We eventually unwound the stick and it was a napkin wrapper folder up about 12 times and stuck in his sandwich. The only 2 people who could have done this was the cook or the waitress. There was no provocation for this. Maybe, the cook was mad at the manager and put this in the sandwich. Probably a cry for help. I found the whole atmosphere of the staff to be rather sad and toxic in such a short time. We’re not being drama kings; we’re just two regular guys who have been coming in for a long time to get lunch. The manager owns this problem and should go. YOU don’t deserve our business. I’m updating the last review from a year or so ago because we once again gave Hooters a try last week and I have to say a lot has changed. Not only was there better service, but the food came out quickly and was really good. Whatever was done in the last year is working and would definitely come back. Fried Pickles are definitely on point, a huge amount and came out hot and crispy. Kids meal came out early and our food was really great. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and it was just as great as the Original Hooters in Clearwater… this is why I love Hooters. Hubby ordered hot wings and he also said there were up to par. Great job for improving Hooters of Rockville you have won us over.

Ordered my food online so I could just pick it up and head back to work. My food had been sitting out a while. When I arrived to pick it up I saw it on the counter, so instead of the girl just handing the food to me once I paid. She picked it up and headed to the back and came back out with the same bag. When I drove the 5mins back to my job I had to reheat my food. Couldn’t finish it though because the chicken wasn’t fully cooked so I just ended up throwing it out. I was very disappointed, normally everything is really good.

Great Friday night spot it wasn’t packed. Cool hostess she sat us down. At first I wanted a booth but then a high table was better since the tvs were high. We had Tiffany as our server and she was great. Took drink orders and drinks came fast. I ordered a piña colada n margarita. Both were served in like a soda type glass?! But drinks were strong! I ordered half shelled oysters. They weren’t the best quality as Im used to. I got wings and sliders. I choose buffalo and wings were spicy garlic and they were hot. Sliders were good but next time I’ll skip the burger and stick with buffalo chicken. As for there famous wings it was damn good. Hot and crispy and fresh chicken with spicy garlic. Next time l’ll try lemon pepper. Our waitress always checked on us and came back fast with refills. The only thing that wasn’t so good was the curly fries. It was served cold but even with a new batch of hot curly fries it was not good it lacked a lot seasoning that salt and ketchup couldn’t make it better. Overall a great spot t

Oh hooters… I used to love you but I’m starting to hate you. I live in NJ and Hooters are hard to find, I remember the days I always tell that they have great wings and service until we went to this restaurant. It was a Saturday night with only 5 tables being served. First our server was rude. Drinks came after 15 minutes to be exact, orders were wrong(She was not paying attention), not attentive at all(the lady that delivered the food actually apologized), our check came and I’m glad we checked it, every single mistake she made was there on our receipt and she gave us the attitude. Can you imagine? Fix your customer service! And your wings? We got served cold wings…

We had a party of 10 for our company. It didn’t seem busy, but service was super slow. It took more than 20 minutes to get one cocktail. It took another 20 minutes to get a cocktail after they made the 2nd one wrong. They forgot to either make or put my son’s order in and we ordered his when we ordered the appetizers. They forgot another individual order from another person in our party who ordered the same time we ordered the wings. They did comp the sandwich. They also gave a $ 10 coupon to one of the employees… mistakenly thinking they were the paying party. The food was good, but in the future, we will hold our employee events at a different place.

Only reason they’re getting one star is cause I have to rate them. I give them –5 stars. 20 min and not one person asked me if I wanted a drink or food. 5 tables had people and that’s it. This Hooters sucks

Hooters makes me happy! BP and I ordered a 10 piece pack for $ 9.99 of boneless wings(come breaded) 50⁄50 Spicy Garlic(HOT) and Hot(not too hot). The greeter was super sweet when I came in, directing me to bar to place my carry-out order and thanking me as I left. Monica at the bar was well-informed about the menu and even went to the kitchen to communicate a last minute order change for me. When we brought the order home we found the chicken to be tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection! I loved the crunch the breading provided. The wings were not overly breaded, just the right amount. I am very interested in returning on another Monday to indulge in AYCE!

I went to this same location many times before and every time I went was nothing but a good time. Food was good, and so was the service, despite the casual environment. But after not visiting in months, this place changed. Servers could use a little more patience and respect. They drop food off at the table and disappear. They don’t explain menu items. They don’t even smile for crying out loud. Food was terribly oily and I couldn’t finish it. I’m quite surprised. I usually easy everything. I suggest going to a different location.

I have gone to the Rockville Hooters in the past for their unlimited wings every Monday night and usually walk away somewhat satisfied. However, I went there tonight and had the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant. First of all, the restaurant wasn’t that busy and half of it was empty. My group of friends were probably the biggest group there with a total of 10 people, and we were there for a good 3 hours. Within that time we all ordered our food and I asked for ranch with my wings but got bleu cheese instead. That didn’t bother me. I know mistakes happen and it wasn’t a big one. So I asked for ranch and never got it. I asked for ranch again and she wrote it down in her notepad with the rest of our orders but I still never got it. My one friend ordered a second order of wings but he never got it. My other friend ordered boneless wings and it took him over an hour to get his food. That wasn’t the worst part though. The worst part was our server’s attitude and how she talked to us. Whenever more than two people would ask for more wings or water she would become visibly upset and say things like, «Oh shit.». She would say this every single time we ordered something, but that only totaled about 5 times during our 3 hours there. The last thing she did that truly upset me was when some of my friends were ordering one last round of wings the others asked for their check. She responded to our request with, «Why don’t I give you my code so you can do it all yourselves?» I don’t care if she was joking or not, but at this point of the night after all that terrible service that was the last thing she should’ve said. Hooters does not pay me to ring up my own order and to print out my bill. They pay you to do your own job. I am very dissatisfied with my dining experience there and I will not be going back nor recommending the Rockville Hooters to anyone.

I have a love hate relationship with this Hooters. Love the food but hate the service. The wings at Hooters are still my favorite. Oh and don’t forget the lots-of-tots. There are only 3 things that I order every time I come to Hooters. Traditional Naked Wing with spicy garlic sauce, Lots-of-Tots(Tater Tots) with Cheese and Sour Cream and fried pickles. Yum. I’ve been coming to this Hooters for a few years now. I used to frequent this place during bike nights with a few biker friends. However over the years the service in the place has really declined. Service has been consistently slow and horrible over the years. It’s Hooters, I don’t expect great service but at least the bare minimum. On today’s visit I notice the size of wings have gotten a smaller as well compared to the past. Our waitress was friendly but she wasn’t tentative. She forgot our order and when she finally remembered, she bought out the order from the next table to ours. I had to wait another 10 minutes to track her down to get her to bring the wrong order back and get us our order. Hopefully the service will improved at some point. I felt really annoyed on one of my visit where the waitress had asked to scan my ID when I ordered for a drink. After disappearing for 20 minutes she came back and told me that my VA driving license is not a valid ID and insisted that I show her another form of ID. I’m 35, cursed with a baby face so I’m accustomed to getting carded for alcohol but never once have I been asked for a second ID. Who the hell carries more than one ID(government issued ID). I definitely don’t carry my passport with me to just go to Hooters. It’s quiet a far drive but not that far. The waitress finally agreed to bring me my beer but then disappeared for another 15 minutes. So 35 minutes later, still no drink and I’m still holding my menu to order food. I gave up and walked out. Come on a Monday night when it’s generally slower at least that way you can find your waitress. Wednesday night is trivia night so it gets a little pack. Thursdays night during the warmer days are bike night. It gets really busy with bikers showing their bike off and getting some chow. So avoid it, unless you enjoy the motorcycles and exhaust smell I don’t mind waiting a little longer while talking shop about bikes during those nights. Thursday night bike nights are the only reason I come to this Hooters now.
