Dr. Yu doesn’t spend much time actually looking at or listening to the patient. He seems very paternalistic in his approach. I found it odd that his is web profile said that he was affiliated with Suburban hospital, but he told me he does surgery at Prince George’s Hospital Center, a place with horrific reviews and far away. There are better ENTs in the area than this guy.

Two hour wait time, finally walked out
My wife had a doctors appointment with this Otolaryngology specialist. I should have known what the customer service would have been like when we said we had Aetna insurance, and the receptionist would not confirm the appointment until we gave her my wife’s insurance number over the phone. This is odd and has never happened to me before.
The appointment was set for 2:30. There was no parking available so she had to park in an area that threatened to be a tow away zone. She took so long trying to find parking that she was ten minutes late to the appointment (2:40). She was on the top of the list, scheduled to be the next person to be seen by the doctor, but the receptionist told her that since she was late the policy in the office was to make her last to be seen by the doctor. At 4:25 she asked how much longer she would have to wait and she was told maybe 20 more minutes. After TWO HOURS waiting in the office, she walked out.
Beware of the terrible service of this doctor’s office. I sent the text of this review to this doctor’s office so it is possible that fake good reviews will be posted after this one.
