A most unpleasant experience at Rockville store in dealing with a woman who kept talking over me and wouldn’t listen to my concerns. I had to go through this awful place because of my type of in-​network health insurance in buying stockings. They gladly took my credit card info, but it was nearly impossible to get them to charge me the right amount. After a lot of back and forth and confusion on their end, I got my health insurance on the phone with them, and they were rude with them too, but I got it resolved in my favor. I would never deal with them again.

I just had the most unpleasant experience ever with this uneducated, nasty person. I needed some medical supplies and my insurance told me to give them a call. I did not know what their hours were, so I called when I got off from work, exactly at 6:32pm. The woman that spoke to me was EXTREMELY BEYOND RUDE. I told her that I needed some supplies and she literally started yelling at me saying that they were closed already and that she had no idea what the hell I was talking about. That is just not acceptable, I don’t think anyone should tolerate that type of behavior from anyone. I asked for the manager name so I could call tomorrow and talk to him, and she hung up on me. I’ve never had that kind of treatment from anyone that works in customer service and that is why I’m filing a complain. I don’t want anyone else to get treated like this. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Durable medical equipment is supposed to be just that; durable. Unfortunately, the transport wheelchair we rented from this company was in need of basic maintenance and routinely failed us during our 4 day rental period. The biggest issues were the footrests (both) that continually fell off, and the left brake mechanism that would not allow the wheelchair to be rolled backward. This made for a very frustrating time for the whole family.
The worst part was how meticulously the staff combed over the chair for every scratch, dent, and ding before we rented; their insisting we use a credit card instead of cash to rent (so they could charge us for any damage); and their refusal to offer a partial refund or apology.
Your loved ones mean the world to you… take your money to a place that gives them the respect they deserve.

I came to Grandiff Medical Supplies because I needed a piece of durable medical equipment. The store personnel were friendly and carefully recorded my insurance information along with the prescription for this equipment; I had to order through Grandiff’s supplier manual because the size I was looking for wasn’t available in-​store. Nonetheless, I would say that their selection was impressive given my years of experience with this piece of equipment.
Grandiff processed my request and gave me updates on the status of my request when I called. They were mindful of the fact that my insurance would be ending soon and processed my request accordingly. Importantly, Grandiff understood the nature of my medical condition and the importance of this equipment to quality of life care. I’m happy to have stumbled upon a good medical supply store. This was WAY better than attempting to buy this durable medical equipment at a specialty shoe store. I recommend Grandiff.

As a geriatric care manager, I have worked with Graniff for many years. They are very responsive, usually getting supplies there the same day. The owner, Ema, is very helpful and knowledgable. Recently, I needed her advice on the best lift chair for one of my clients who could no longer transfer from a sitting position to a standing position on her own. Ema was able to direct me towards the purchase of a great chair, comfortable, attractive, and waterproof, which is always nice for clients who occasionally have accidents. I highly recommend Graniff, and find both their Rockville/​Kensington location, and the Silver Spring location to be well staffed.

I went to the Rockville branch and found the sales people to be extremely unhelpful and rude. When I complained about customer service, the sales person shouted and asked me to leave the store. Don’t go to this place, the customer service is non existent.

These people are like the soup Nazis of medical supplies. A lot of yelling, scolding and unpleasantness. Difficult return policy and high prices. That being said, they had everything we needed for my daughter’s ankle and my elderly mother’s feeding, toileting, and mobility needs. I will go back bc they have what I need and they are next door to a great shoe guy, but I won’t enjoy it.

I had purchased a transport chair for my father last year. The staff was great at showing me how to use the chair, fold it up, store it, etc. Fast forward to today and I needed to return to the store with help ordering a new foot rest for the chair… one of them had fallen off so I thought I needed to replace it. When I went into the store the gentleman there said to please bring the chair in to see if it could be repaired instead of ordering anything. I returned to the store with the chair and all it needed was to be tightened! He checked the chair and both foot rests for me to be sure all was ok. I so appreciated the help; it saved me from ordering new parts. They were both so kind and helpful.

This place is awful, and the people are rude!!! We had info faxed the night before and my wife dropped in the next day to pick up a walker for my 91 year old mother. They didn’t have anything ready. Okay, so my wife went to pick up my mother from the nursing home to take her back to her apartment, and she told the employee that she would be back to pick up the walker. She went back and they still hadn’t started the paperwork. They INSISTED that my mother get out of the car and wheeled into the store to do paperwork. (She has a broken foot.) They refused to leave the store. They also complained about her medicare card. I told my wife that, if necessary, just leave the store and find another medical supply store. Wonder how they stay in business.

Opened an hour late on a Wednesday. I called the Silver Spring store to ask whether there was a problem (as I sat in the parking lot waiting) and got a «eh – so what» attitude about it.
Items are non-​returnable. Period. I“m shopping for an elderly person so I can’t buy anything here – I don’t know how something will work until she tries it and she’s not mobile enough to bring to the store. When I asked about the policy, the lone employee grunted and pointed at the «NO RETURNS» sign.
I’ll never try this place again. What a waste of time.
