First Title & Escrow specializes in providing title and closing transactions for some of the largest corporations in the real estate industry. They also specialize in using FirstVision, a high-​tech proprietary software to help complete title services with speed and efficiency.

History

Established in 1997.

First Title & Escrow began with a staff of three, servicing only Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. In 2000, First Title expanded to serving 17 additional states, totaling to 20. Because of the expansion, First Title had to move headquarters to Rockville, Maryland.

In 2003, First Title launched a new web platform, introducing the nation’s first ever Instant HUD-​1, Title Insurance Calculation system. The company continued to integrate with additional Software programs to better serve clients with their services.

In 2008, First Title & Escrow closed its first multi-​hundred unit Co-​Op to Condominium Conversion project and opened another servicing center in Birmingham, MI. In 2010, they opened yet another servicing center in Richmond, VA.

In 2011, First Title expands to include all 50 states and partners with Wingspan Portfolio Advisors and the WREN Network to exponentially streamline the short-​sale process nationwide.

As CEO and President of First Title & Escrow Stephen shares the intention of the founders of First Title; they were not interested in starting an ordinary title company. First Title was established with the intention to provide fully integrated settlement services with dedication to provide exceptional title insurance and real estate closing services to banks, lenders, brokers, asset managers and real estate agents nationwide.

The market is constantly changing and First Title is committed to maintaining the best service and for their clients as technology advances and client needs evolve.
