I was struck by a self entitled youngster, that was speeding while texting. The entire passenger side of my Lexus LS looked like sh*t! I didn’t think it would look as beautiful as it did before that little jerk off hit it. The plan was to get it fixed and trade it for a new one.
Immediately after D & D auto body and painted and repaired the car was I took it to Lexus to ensure no unforeseen damages existed. The Lexus mechanic that services both of our cars asked on what side had it been hit. He couldn’t tell just by looking at it. Now, if that wasn’t a compliment to the quality of work Avak and his team are doing, I don’t know what is.
Avak, I want to personally thank you for stepping up to the plate and making no excuses, just getting the job done. It was a pleasure meeting you and your lovely wife. We’re keeping the car! Thank you

DO NOT GO HERE! The staff are not professional at all. They think customer is bothering them when asking for a quote. There are plenty of other body shops around there which a hundred times better than D&D! Do not waste your money there and they did a lousy job.

Fair pricing, friendly staff, and quality work. No one wants to go to an auto body shop, but D&D makes it as painless as possible.

I went to D & D Auto Body for a small dent in my car that could not be done with PDR. From the moment I called and spoke to this really sweet lady to the time my picked up my car; the staff was terrific. I called in meltdown mode because some awful person hit my car and took off without leaving a note. Once I arrived this nice gentleman (I don’t recall his name) looked at my car, gave me a fair estimate and said think about it and call me if you want to do the work. I went back the following Monday afternoon to drop off my car. I called Wednesday afternoon and my car was ready!!! They are fast, honest, and they care about their customers. If you are looking for quality workmanship, great staff, and fair price, go to D & D Auto Body!!! Many thanks to you all that too care of my car.

These guys are awesome. My car got backed into and both driver side doors were dented and covered in red paint. I picked my car up today (the promised date) and it looks like new. Not only that but they cleaned the entire vehicle to perfection. To top it off, they are nice down to earth guys who are a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to everyone.

I was in an accident and had to get my trunk fixed. I could have gone anywhere since I nor my insurance was paying for the repairs, but I did my research and found D&D. I knew these were the people I wanted to take care of my car from my first interaction. Avak is so down to earth and so is his crew. And even better, they are HONEST — they won’t waste your time and/​or money. I plan to take my car back for any repairs because I TRUST THEM. I even brought them some pastries on my visit and Avak shared his grapes with me. AVAK AND HIS TEAM ARE WONDERFUL! He invited me to go fishing with them in Ocean City, MD! Love these guys and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM for your auto repair needs.

I got into a fender bender and my grill was cracked in half and my hood was crunched up. They repaired and painted it in 3 days. The most inexpensive place I could find, and the end cost was $ 100 cheaper than the estimate. I didn’t noticed until I was driving home that they also vacuumed the inside. Great, fast work. Extremely friendly and dependable.

The best recommendation I can give — my family and I have been brining cars to D&D and Avak for over 25 years. He is always fair, gets the repairs done promptly and his estimates are always on point. Recently I sent a friend there and her estimate was 35% less than another bid from a non-​dealer body shop. He fights for you with insurance companies and works very will with State Farm.
In all the years, I had only one issue where they had to repaint a quarter panel and the paint didn’t mix properly. He immediately had the car back in and had it repainted perfectly.
Car need body work? Bring it to D&D!

Avak took a look at a big blob of paint that the last owner try to touch up on the roof and the trunk he took it out so simple with no big job on it and did it within 10 minutes it was a great job

Avak and his team did a fabulous job with my 2010 Mazda 6. There was about a week of body work that needed to be done and they made sure it was done by the deadline they gave me. His estimate was also very fair and the lowest I could find since I wasn’t able to go through my insurance and it was excellent work! It was also a nice surprise that they had cleaned out the inside of my car and it was freshly waxed when I arrived. Thanks Avak! Will be referring people to this business.

Avak and his crew do a terrific job. I got a quote here and then at the BMW dealer for some minor repair on my bumper. The BMW quote was 3x the quote from D&D and the work by D&D was immaculate.
I will never take my vehicles anywhere else for repair!

First time customer. I found D&D because it was a certified State Farm repair shop. I liked that Avak showed me pictures of the internal damage/​repairs to my vehicle. I had some rust caused by a past «repair job». He fixed the rust, which made my car look better than it did before I was rear ended! The final bill was getting pretty close to my car’s value. Regardless of if they have any control in the matter, I’m grateful they were able to make the repairs and avoid having it totaled by the insurance company.

I have been going to D&D auto body in Rockville for over 8 years, and when I got married my husband started going there too. When you need someone you can trust your car with, who does excellent work and does not charge you am arm and a leg go to D&D, you will never go anywhere else afterward. The owner and staff are the nicest, friendliest, easy going, and down to earth people, they will work with you and you will be happy!

My wife’s car was brought in to see what could be done about a lot of very minor cosmetic scratches (Nice car but showing some wear after 4 years). The family atmosphere was incredibly refreshing and I found everyone we interacted with to be very pleasant, professional and HONEST.
As other reviewers stated, it is laid back, but to me, this is very appreciated and made us feel at ease and that the family would treat us as their family. My wife was THRILLED with the job Avak and the crew had done and for PENNIES of what others would have charged. I told Avak I would be bringing in my car (which I am very particular about) after seeing what a great job they did. HIGHLY Recommend!

I came to this shop through admittedly odd circumstances. A girl rear-​ended my car while driving her parents’ car, I failed to get her insurance info, and was left trying to bargain with her dad on where to go to get my bumper replaced. He pointed me to D & D and said that he would pay.
To make a long story short, Avak put up with all the back and forth between calls from both me and the dad, accepted and delivered on my request to get the bumper done within the same day, did a beautiful job, and let me pick up the car without even leaving a credit card number as security, saying that he trusted the dad (who actually went to the shop in person before I did) would pay.
I won’t argue with the reviewer who took issue with Avak’s casual manner, but to me, it’s a body shop, not a four star restaurant. Plus they offered me coffee and fresh coffee cake while I waited, and asked if I needed a ride from the shop while the car was being fixed. Between that and the fact that D & D took care of my car purely on good faith, I am feeling like a huge champion of this shop right now!
