Horrible Horrible customer service. I went in on an afternoon and was quoted $ 500 for a sofa and the salesman swore up and down it was their«last one». I go back a little over a week later, and he quotes me a different price(higher of course), claiming that this was«new» in stock and that it was«different» from the one they had before. After I was able to talk him down from the price, I made my purchase and scheduled delivery for the next day. I sat at home the ENTIRE day and heard NOTHING from the delivery person. I called the store to express my concern and they offered me NOTHING for my trouble. When I told them I was available another day, neither the manage NOR the deliveryman EVER called to confirm whether or not they would be delivering on that day or not. I had to call NUMEROUS times to find out whether or not they were going to deliver, only to be told I’d get $ 50 off my next purchase… as if I’d ever purchase from this sheisty place again. The manager is unprofessional a hack. Spare yourself the trouble and DONOT purchase from the Capitol Heights, MD location!

I am writing this in anger. I spent around $ 250/month on furniture rental for a three bedroom apartment. After 6 months of careful use and thorough cleaning before pick up, I was charged half a month’s rent for ‘damages’. I had Cort come and pick up the furniture after I moved out. Apparently there was a broken end table and missing dresser mirror. What!!! The end table is metal, first of all. And 2nd, everything was there when I left. Here’s what I think… I think the gentleman who picked up the furniture must have shattered the mirror, threw it away(hence missing), and dropped the table in transit. What a way to shatter confidence in the company. I will never rent from Cort again. And I highly suggest that you don’t either!!!

Expensive rental of cheap furniture that is not comfortable in any way and does not even look that great. I would suggest if you need furniture you go to Target, Walmart or IKEA. A three month rental will cost you more than buying the stuff and the quality of CORT is average to poor. Better to buy from IKEA then donate or give it away after you need it than rent from these people. Also they may drop off on a Saturday but they will not collect on a Saturday. This cost me ½ of pay! I am extremely unimpressed. Rent-a-Center is probably a better option although I have not tried them. To be honest they cannot be worse.
