Chinese-MD, Acupuncture and Wellness, is a new Chinese medical clinic created by Dr. Holly Liu, who has been practicing in the Rockville area since 1997. The name comes from the fact that, like Dr. Liu, most of the acupuncturists with us were also Medical Doctors in China before they came to the U.S. With this background and depth of knowledge in Chinese Medicine, the staff at Chinese-MD provides a new level of care beyond acupuncture alone.

Business Owner
Dr. Holly Liu is the creator of Chinese-MD in Rockville Town Center. This is a new group of Chinese doctors and specialists who provide a wide array of alternative medical services. Dr. Liu is a highly regarded doctor of medicine from China. At age 16 she obtained a Primary Physician Diploma in Western Medicine. At 21, she had obtained her medical degree in Western Medicine and completed a 3 year residency at a major Chinese General Hospital. Later she obtained her Traditional Chinese Medical degree.
Doctor Liu came to the US in 1990 to further her work in integrative medicine and holistic therapy. She obtained her board certification in acupuncture and has developed specialized herbal treatments for skin problems, endocrine disorders, and weight loss. Dr. Liu established her first Chinese health clinic in 1997 and since then has helped patients overcome health disorders and achieve healthier lifestyles.
