Lazy Daisy Stichery

It is hard to maintain a small cross-​stitch shop nowadays with most competition coming from websites with extremely low overhead. However, Lazy Daisy is an oasis for stitchers and I can’t be happier I found it. Diana, the owner, is helpful and very knowledgeable about designers, cloth and threads. While the shop is small, she can order anything you need — any patterns from ages ago and her selection of specialty threads is quite good. She even frames finished pieces, which is great. «Open» stitch night on the 3^rd Thursday is awesome and a great way to make new friends and spend quality time stitching on any of your personal projects. Diana also hosts stitch classes usually held on Saturday mornings. I especially love going to Lazy Daisy, because it is so awesome to see all her finished pieces on the walls — Diana and her MIL stitched all of them — numbering in the hundreds. Outstanding service, quality products. Cute store. Can’t recommend it enough.

I have only been to this shop once but I got a really good vibe while I was there. I have a friend who is a big fan and she was eager to take me for a visit. It is medium size shop but was really hopping when we went. Well stocked crossing stitching shop and a nice fabric selection. I found some charts I was looking for and picked up a few pieces of fabric. The store owner and employees were very nice and friendly even though they were super busy. It was really nice to see a LNS with so many shoppers in it.
